This is a hymn of love for the city of Naples, that is so beautiful, with a lot of poverty. It describes a dirty paper, but also the thousands of colors that are both true of Naples. The thousands of fears of the citizens. What the song conveys is a city on the sea, full of light, so so so so beautiful. Pity you don't speak Italian but, even so, you caught the feeling.

La versione di Pino Daniele non è poi cosi complicata. Ma questa con Pavarotti francamente è orribile. Con tutto il rispetto per BigLuciano, ma questi ibridi tra opera e musica leggera sono inascoltabili.
@@robertarossi8270 esatto, le versioni con Pavarotti sono spesso al limite dell'inascoltabile. Eccezione per il capolavoro Miss Sarajevo con gli U2, ma quella versione nasce originale in quel modo credo. E salvo una versione con Zucchero non ricordo quale, ma per il resto...
Ma infatti con "complicata" mi sono limitato 😄

Honestly this sonh is so beautiful it's almost a sin to use it forcthd Pavarotti and friends Duets which let"s face it, were great as concept and goal but surely not good for music some duets were pretty weird... go and check out the original Pino Daniele performance, pure poetry
