    Carbon monoxide goes where?

    • @geappliances
      @geappliances  6 місяців тому

      Hi Abdul!
      The Profile Smart Indoor Smoker is specifically designed to convert byproducts of wood pellet combustion, including carbon monoxide. It also converts the smoke into CO2, water, and warm air. The warm air is blown out from the bottom face of the smoker.
      Page 6 of the Use and Care manual has more safety information regarding Carbon Monoxide if you'd like to take a look: spklr.io/6058WPL2
      If you have other questions, feel free to ask. -MS

      @@geappliances thanks. What if there is failure? How can a customer know of failure. CO management is absolutely key here. As could lead to illness or death if any issues. Is there any safety check in house to confirm all fine?

    • @geappliances

      No problem!
      As mentioned on page 6 of the manual, governmental and safety organizations generally recommend installing a battery-operated or
      battery back-up carbon monoxide detector in your home. You much follow the detector manufacturer’s
      instructions regarding the maintenance and replacement of the detector.
      It's also important to know the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. The most common symptoms are headache, dizziness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, and confusion. These symptoms are often
      described as “flu-like”. If you or others develop such symptoms, stop using the appliance immediately, seek fresh air, and see a doctor.
      More information can be found in the manual. We do hope this helps! -SH

      @@geappliances what is the process of eliminating the smoke Called

    • @bcbock
      @bcbock 5 місяців тому

      @@AbulKasam You should have a carbon monoxide detector in your home if you use any combustion device (gas furnace, fireplace, gas hot water heater, gas range, gas dryer). I’d also place this near the range and use the ranges hood vent.

    Smoke rings?

      Thats what I'm looking for.. None of the videos I've seen, have any smoke rings in the food...

    • @geappliances
      @geappliances  6 місяців тому +3

      The pink outer layer of many smoked meats is called a smoke ring. There are differing opinions, but studies show that a smoke ring (or lack of one) doesn't impact the smoke flavor of smoked meat. The gases released during wood or charcoal burning, especially nitric oxide (NO), is typically giving the smoke ring its color. More exposure to NO creates a pinker colored ring, and less exposure produces a browner colored ring. The GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker uses wood pellets to smoke foods, but the pellets are not the source of heat. There's no sufficient wood combustion to generate enough NO to reliably create a smoke ring. It still delivers on great smoke flavor, though! You can visit the link here to explain a bit more on this. We hope this helps! -DM

    $1,000 is a bit much. Can we lower the price, or is this device only available to rich people?

    • @geappliances
      @geappliances  6 місяців тому +5

      Hello,
      There are numerous benefits to using this product! This indoor electric smoker requires only a small amount of your preferred wood pellets to achieve the same results as your outdoor smoker, making it more cost-effective to use as frequently as you desire. It also combines an independent heat source for burning pellets with a separate heat source for cooking foods, providing unparalleled smoke control and temperature accuracy.
      We are confident that you would enjoy having this unit as a long-term partner in your kitchen when it comes to preparing delicious food.
      You can learn more about this smoker here: spklr.io/6056WBwr.
      We would also like to mention that pricing can depend on various factors. Economic elements such as distribution, warehousing, and marketing costs contribute to a portion of the selling price for the product. Other factors, such as usability (cosmetic vs. functional) and availability, also play a role in determining the pricing.
      We're always here if you need anything! Take care, SH

      Because it's a $1,000 you claim its for rich people? 😂 Boy do you have a delusional view of society. You have middle class people everywhere buying RTX 4090s video cards for almost $2k USD and 4080s for $1K. Video cards!! You also have middle class and lower middle class buying travis Scott Nikes for $500 to $1500. Shoes!! Not to mention thousand dollar Swiss watches that middle class people buy and you are complaining about $1000 for a cooking appliance which essentially replaces a massive outdoor smoker grill that normally costs thousands which is also first tech of it kind with smoke elimination technology for indoor use that you can use to cook food everyday and you're over here complaining that this is only for rich people? My friend, u haveva very different definition of rich than most people 😂
