Thank goodness I found your demo. I bought a set of 3 and now you have made it so simple.😊

Thanks. It was the last bit with the knot that I couldn’t work out from the instructions.

Great help thanks. Had lost the instructions and wasted so much wool trying to figure it out myself. Really found this helpful. D

    So, why do they open?

according to the instructions of the ones i got you put the yarn there but im pretty sure you have to open it again after cutting, get the half made pompom out before you can tie it together. this is a lot easier because you dont have to do that. you dont have to hold everything so it doesnt spill out because its already tied in a knot before you cut

Finally dug mine out of a box today to try and learn to make a pompom rather than using my go to “faux fur” pompoms. Won’t be doing that agin😂 wasted a bunch of yarn and all I ended up with was something that appeared to have been made by a toddler🤦🏻‍♀️lol

You could easily start with a longer thread and hold it at one end which would give more plenty to tie off and secure to hat, etc. None of the videos I've seen pull at the cut threads on finished pompom to show how secure they are.

I have a set of three of this pom pom loom and i have watch the video heap of time but when it came to cut the wool the pulling the wool to tie it together it will not move and when it manager to tie it off , it just falls apart. Can anyone how i can stop this from happening as all I am doing is wasting wool.

Both the video and the pom-pom could have used more volume.

the pomponmaker makes very skinny pompons. I am going to do it on the oldfashioned way again, with donut- shaped cardboard

The video is okay, but this product creates just flimsy pompons, regardless of how much yarn you use. Very disappointing! I do not recommend it.

This is a waste of money and wool, I DO NOT recommend. Pom poms fell apart

It's a crappy design as the thread is too short for tie-off and attaching to your project 👎

I didn't consider this! But I guess you could just make the beginning string longer and cut the last string longer as well. Thank you for bringing this up before I wasted yarn!
