Bro I have a 2015 Lexus RC 350 RWD and MAAAAN absolutely no driving complaints. Now that I have a family gotta start thinking of interior room but me, my lady and my two dogs love it. Been from AZ to OR with it so many times. Cannot complaint how great it is for cruising, when you need it to go, it goes. Best car I’ve ever had.
I own an RC 350 AWD LOVE IT ! ! ! ! Luxury sport coupe does all the things you would expect a Lexus to do and the bonus is Toyota quality, parts availability and dependability. No BMW/AUDI/MERC "parts-repair tax". BUY ONE ! ! !
I wrote this over on the Topher's video of his RC review, but still holds true almost another year later: "I purchased my '15 RC-350 F Sport early last year with 43k miles, back when you could still find them for under $30k. It's harder to find them now for that price. I've racked almost 13k miles in the last year, and I can say, it's been a joy to own. One doesn't purchase this car for its performance - if you do, you'll be disappointed. My first vehicle was a '95 Toyota Corolla, and that car racked 200k miles (and sold it to a friend, who's still driving it!). I then went to Subaru (because I thought they were reliable - now that was a mistake). Went back to Toyota because it proved itself to me. This vehicle is heavy, but that's part of the reason you buy one - comfort. Just like Topher said, it's a GREAT daily driver. If you want speed, then lease an M340i or similar, and don't worry about the maintenance costs after 2-3 years. However, as someone who keeps their cars long-term, I love the nearly maintenance-free cost of ownership of this vehicle. It has just enough power that if you want to have a little fun, the 300hp doesn't disappoint. No matter what car you buy, there's always one that's going to be faster than you. Having the ability to be comfortable day in and day out, out of a reliable Toyota/Lexus makes it worth it, in my opinion." A refresh of the interior would be nice to see in the future, though!
I went with the 22 is350 the performance is decent but off the line is kinda slow but at the highway that’s here the is350 really pull and I just install a cold air intake it makes a huge difference
I bought one of the very first RC350 F-Sports back in 2015. Great car, but I quickly bought a 2017 RC-F 2 years later. The 350 is all bark and no bite for it's intended class. At least with BMWs (etc) you can tune them to get more power if preferred. In either case, I LOVE my RC-F. 60k miles in and still drives like new.
Honestly, if you talk about resale value ratios. The RC350 F Sport AWD has a better resale value than an RCF. The RCF does depreciate faster because it's a RWD. Back in 2017, I bought a used 2015 rc350 F sport awd for 44k with 9k miles on it, sold it last fall of 2022 for $38k at 27k miles. Pretty much I only paid the bank $6-$7k for owning the car. $38k went into my pocket. It's not a really fast car but it's a grand touring sports car so I don't expect it being fast.
@Alex Barajas The trade in value is pretty good especially if you have an awd rc350 f sport. My brother's 2017 IS350 F sport awd was new and he literally sold his IS350 F sport after a year and a half. The dealer paid him a few thousand dollars because the resale values are so good on the IS and the RC.
Had me in the first half,, but sadly you are correct me and my buddy (IS350’s) just ran into that wall the other day and we’ were pretty sad ab that 😢 Are the 200t’s more tunable maybe?

The grey colour option for 2023 is spot on. The contrast with the red leather interior looks amazing. Slight variation design on the front facia is subtle. Triple led set up is the same as the 2019 facelift. Round silver air vents for the interior gives me Mercedes vibe. Did they at least bring back the top door illumination strip? The 2015 facia is timeless and is very hard to beat, Lexus did an amazing job on the original design. Too bad Lexus RC and IS is discontinued in the Australian market now due to new side impact safety designs coming into effect. Still can't be a Lexus imo❤
Yes its dated especially from the interior but I do like the exterior styling. Lexus updating it just like the IS keeps it looking fresh and modern so it aged well. Looking forward to the redesign if there is one coming
I feel like this car slots in between the 430i and the M440i. It costs around what the 430i costs while offering significantly more fun, especially with the F sport setup. This car being in its own category is what I believe makes it so successful
Hi Joe, another great video. The little light on the left and right corner grill is a cornering light. When you use your turn signal it comes on. They also come on when you put the vehicle in reverse Coming from a 2020 RC350 Fsport owner. Again awesome video!

I absolutely love the design of the RC and had a 2019 RC 350 F Sport AWD and really liked it - The only must before leaving the dealership is putting the Lexus Lowering Springs in the front only to balance the 1 inch gap difference between the front and rear. I am shocked that Lexus would allow this vehicle to roll off the assembly plant after all these years without addressing this problem. It is one thing to have a gap that one would prefer to be smaller, but this is a situation where the gap is uneven from the front and rear. It looks like someone has 2000 lbs sitting in the front and is so embarrassing. Luckily, a few hundred dollars can fix this problem without affecting the ride quality and give the perfect stance for the RC.

I have always liked the RC a lot. I wouldn't think of getting anything less than an RC F though. V8! I really like the steering wheel. It's too bad Toyota didn't carry that design over the the newer models of Lexus.

Hello Joe, I really really love the new Lexus RC class I feel like this RC 350 F sport is the ultra apostle to the Performance cars. I also think that the Lexus Team went over and be of as far as making a luxurious car. Very very nice car.
I think you should do RC F, the real deal for this chassis. It's a GS-IS hybrid chassis, and it deserves what it should have the purist F. I love the IS 350 F Sport and RC F, IS 500 F-Sport Performance is not a true F as it lacks the Oil and Transmission coolers that GS F and IS F had, the RC F has it plus they have Torque Vectoring on the F model too. And the interior gets a full leather treatment too, it costs a ton though RC 350 F Sport costs almost as much as an IS 350 F Sport at 60K but RC F with all that costs 80K. Thanks for your videos, always enjoyable fan since 2 years of my car journey still looking for a car that is a Lexus and one that is 100% made in Japan ;) I think maybe 2024 is last for all these NA V6 and NA V8 engines sadly, they axed the GX 460 today with new announcement and they got rid of RX350 too also the 4Runner (kinda expected since GX is gone). So only last ones left - IS 350 / 500, RC, RC F, LC500. The Toyota engineering pride will go down once they all are gone really sad, so please review the RC F.
Such a beautiful car! Love they still offer the RC BUT! The steering wheel is soooo outdated. I had the steering wheel on my 2013 GS350. Makes me wonder if they are going to discontinue it. Either cut the the mode or update the 10 year old steering wheel and center stack.
This car is dated in reality and the changes are way to minimum. In reality it's made for a guy like me. I don't need all thees features that all these new cars offer. I need a 2 door coupe, naturally aspirated engine, CD player, decent boot with a great sound system. So this car not only appeals to me but I absolutely, undoubtedly love it
I've driven many of these. They're great, I love them and plan on purchasing one used within the next decade. But make no mistake, this is no sports car by any means. It is a luxury car that is capable of being fun at times.
Absolutely a splendid car. All the power 90% of you may ever need in daily driving. As far as speed addicts, this is not the brand I would search to feed your habit. Like it or not, this is primarily a "Boulevardier Cruiser". Otherwise, it's a Mustang Mach 1 for YOU!🤣
Beautiful car on the outside, but a CD player on the inside….scratching my head thinking about what the design teams were thinking. Great review as always!
When this car came out in 2015, many manufacturers were still installing cd players in their vehicles. The fact that the RC hasn't been redesigned is why the cd player and the touch pad are still there. Also, any Lexus that still doesn't have wireless Android auto is in need of a redesign (out dated multimedia platform). Why does Lexus have a problem bringing redesigned up-to-date models to market? Forget the BMW 4 series. Buy a 2023 M340 or M3. Yes, the BMWs cost more... but they are up-to-date.
It comes down to reliability for me. I had a BMW & it was in the shop more than on the road, so I’ll never own another BMW. My wife has a ‘15 F-sport and it has had absolutely zero problems in 8 years. The reliability on the Lexus is absolutely stellar and maintenance is very affordable compared to its German competition. So, I’m glad to give up a little bit of performance for reliability. Also, I’ll never purchase another new car, when you can get so much more for your money on a certified used car. I’m picking up a certified ‘19 RC F-Sport 350 RWD tomorrow for myself for only $38k, which seems like a absolute steal in today’s market. Lastly, I feel the center console still looks great in 2023, so glad this car doesn’t have any piano gloss black and the option to control the touch screen with the trackpad is very cool & the trackpad is really easy in my experience. Thx, great video!
AWD is NG on the IS/RC. Also the system loses the rear Torsen diff option (only Torsen center fiff transfer)...... And then of course the other thing to zonk is the footbrake design......
Lexus designs beautiful cars, but certain aspects of them are outdated and the pricing is rarely ever competitive. More than often they are overpriced by at least $10k for the performance they offer.
Due to them actually making changes for 2023 and adding the same features as my 21’ Camry XSE…. It’s a no brainier for me, but at the V8 price, i could get a ZL1 Camaro…. So decisions decisions.
I want them to put the IS headlights and tail light (the long one that goes accross the back) on the RC300/RC350 so bad. That would be the best looking luxury coupe by far
Would have been relevant as a car to own if the F sport badge lines had the twin turbo from a tacoma or something that set it apart from the base. I would expect by now that toyota would at the least try to give the rc350 f sport some more love since it is such a great looking coupe(and have an AWD option) but it lacks some excitement for an F badge(IS,GS whatever) all across like what is the point of having that badge why is it a thing. They have a F line V8's so why even have an F sport variant when it lacks even a spit of performance compared to its counterparts for the price? I still love this car though but i realized that if you are going to get a lexus whatever year do not matter they will be the same pretty much(interior and exterior).
It really is a shame the updates are rather lack lustre! Also mate if you like Lexus reviews, I have plenty with the RC350 and with the IS350 😄 Feel free to check it out 😊
This is a beautiful car. Right now, I got my eye on this 1987 Ford Pinto, a classic! The seller wants $150 for it. But, I think I can talk him down to around $80. What do you think Joe....should I get this classic?

I've driven many of these. They're great, I love them and plan on purchasing one used within the next decade. But make no mistake, this is no sports car by any means. It is a luxury car that is capable of being fun at times.
Absolutely a splendid car. All the power 90% of you may ever need in daily driving. As far as speed addicts, this is not the brand I would search to feed your habit. Like it or not, this is primarily a "Boulevardier Cruiser".
Otherwise, it's a Mustang Mach 1 for YOU!🤣
The front end of the car is absolutely beautiful 😍
Wish it had a little more power, but really nice looking and AWD.
Beautiful car on the outside, but a CD player on the inside….scratching my head thinking about what the design teams were thinking. Great review as always!
Just like the new 2024 GTR with a CD player. Same old car just a few changes and call it a new car.
Don't mind the cd player much..I prefer options.
But their infotainment system is always so dated and bad.
@@MariioJi agreed I saw Raiti’s video on that and I was baffled at that interior, especially considering the price!
@@bd9057 I agree as well it just seems to be dated all the time. Stylish exteriors and very classy, but lame-ish interiors
I love the Lexus product and I love the color of the rc model.😊😊😊.
Lexus RC>>>>German coupes
This is just about as sexy as it’s bigger LC brother 😍😍
I thought the "fog lamps" were side lights? That when you come to a corner and turn signal is on, it lights up the side more for visibility.
Are the headrests removable ?
Yes! Also mate if you like Lexus reviews, I have plenty with the RC350 and with the IS350 😄 Feel free to check it out 😊
@@SergCarReviews I will thank you!
@@bro9ze Let me know what you think 😊
I know how you feel! Thanks for sharing your ownership experience!
Thanks Lorie!
Man that color is killer!
I totally agree with you Tanner!
@@RaitisRides Nice video Raiti! Keep up the good stuff!

has head up display?
2 doors car supposed to be a sport car then Why don't they eliminate the back seats and reduce weight? 🤔
It's a sharp looking car Joe, can't wait to see the driving video. Great job as always Lori. 😎👍👌
That wheel gap looks horrendous!!! Needs a two inch drop!
AWD is NG on the IS/RC. Also the system loses the rear Torsen diff option (only Torsen center fiff transfer)......
And then of course the other thing to zonk is the footbrake design......
Hi Joe! Remember Me? I WAS THERE ON WEDSDAY! THATS A SEXY SHAPE, BUT ITS TO DAMN GOOD!
Keep up the good work
Joe got paid handsomely to compliment that Engine Cover
Great review
what happened to the gear knob??
Lexus designs beautiful cars, but certain aspects of them are outdated and the pricing is rarely ever competitive. More than often they are overpriced by at least $10k for the performance they offer.
Due to them actually making changes for 2023 and adding the same features as my 21’ Camry XSE…. It’s a no brainier for me, but at the V8 price, i could get a ZL1 Camaro…. So decisions decisions.
Not a fog light in the front, those are lights that come on to illuminate your turn
@Paul that would be nice.
I want them to put the IS headlights and tail light (the long one that goes accross the back) on the RC300/RC350 so bad. That would be the best looking luxury coupe by far
That would look sooo good!! Also mate if you like Lexus reviews, I have plenty with the RC350 and with the IS350 😄 Feel free to check it out 😊
Lovely car and color- best wishes. Great Video.

Definitely worth it.

I'd offer 90 to close the deal and not lose sleep of missing out. You're going to roll like a boss in that Pinto...and that whole thing about blowing up when it's rear ended was just media hysteria
That’s a beautiful Lexus for sure.
You are so very right about that!

Did someone leave the front axle lift on???
