Great car. Old school tech. It will last forever. And finally a TOUCHSCREEN!
Can't go wrong with this buy.
I agree with you. Great vehicle. I wish it still have the more reliable naturally aspirated V8 engine.
Love my touchscreen in my Subaru and on my phone. Works great. Safe and fast.
That's why every manufacturer offers touchscreens now. Even Lexus, Acura, and Mazda.
Joe is a hard worker. Everyone make sure to share and get this man to 1 million subscribers!
14:01 😂😂” you’re going to bust cream all over this leather” 😂😂 I lost it💀😂
That’s a beautiful Lexus and the work they put into it is amazing, well deserved to be a top option.
Lexus has been leveling up on style and performance and this is a beautiful car in white. Thanks Steven for the camera work and Joe for the on throttle action!
Another great review, Joe! Love your continued analysis and hands-on body discussion of curves, scoops and finishes. You are tops in the business for that aspect of reviewing. I got a 19 LS500 two years ago, heavily optioned, for a third off the sticker price and 14,000 miles; like new, and flies! Been driving LSs for almost 30 years and although I long for an 8, this 6 is 0-60 rated at 4.6, and my last LS, a 460 and last of the 8s, was 5.4. So, give me speed! Keep up the great work, and be among the first to tell us about the next generation. Oh, loved your last LS review, too. My 500 is Matador Red, named Ginger. Hope to see you here again soon.
Very nice Im a big fan of the Matador Red and its a relatively rare color also.I have 2021 IS 350 AWD in Caviar w/handling package and Mark Levinson stereo as my fun second car and thinking of getting ES 350 either new or slightly used to replace my Malibu Premier from 2019 thats my daily which does take quite a beating but im thinking of going the 2 Lexus route instead.Finding a new or used 350 w/ Mark Levinson is very difficult indeed, which would be my preference The LS is a big, beautiful, stylish, and solid behemoth of a sedan and the IS is a much easier fit for my garage as its not the biggest or longest and definitely would not fit. The LS and the LC are the best cars for $100000 out there IMHO. Rare, stylish, classy in a subtle way and dependable like no BMW or Mercedes is.
He’s TERRIBLE!!!!!! His trailer park roots are a huge deterrent. Anyone who can’t appreciate the elegance and the classiness of chrome and piano black interior accents is like trying to get a primitive bohemian tribe to appreciate the better things in life. He’s trying to sell mudpies to the auto industry.
I’ve had the last three generations. Terms of reliability Ls430 wins. Terms of comfort the Ls460 with air ride wins. Terms of styling and handling the Ls500 takes both for a walk. Now i will say this. Lexus has been trying to please their costumers with their demands over the years. A lot of people always said the LS was boring and for old people. Now we have something more sporty and fun yet no one is buying it. You cannot please everyone, therefore you cannot make a perfect car for everyone. I love the experience i had with all 3 generations. All with their pros and cons
No one's buying it cause it's 115k and interest rates are 8% you dumb ass trust fund kid
To address your first question about the Lexus grill, I'm still diggin' it, especially on this beautiful LS. If they did a grill design as they did with the RX350, I'd like that as well. I like that the black chrome accents around this LS and on the wheels. On the end of the trunk lid, I wish they had spelled out L E X U S as they've done on some of the other models. I would also wish they had retained the V8. I'm a long-time Lexus owner and they continue to impress me as they've refined this magnificent vehicle. Thanks, Joe.
Can we take a moment and give Joe props man, you do a fantastic job sir! Great , fun presentations .
The styling of this car has held up well. It’s funny how the Lexus has become the value buy for luxury sedans as the G90 costs the same or more. I’d probably buy the base version with the interior upgrade package to get the massaging front seats.
Every time Rati says, "Let's talk about what's going on here."
I think, "What's going on here, Rati? 🤔 "
Lol, every time! 😆
Love this car. Sporty and luxury. Powerful enough to have some fun and comfortable to drive it everyday.
This is the car that if you're rich and have exotic vehicles, this would be your daily driver. It has everything. It has luxury, function and speed. You were magnificent once again, Joe.
Joe, great review of this Lexus LS. I have driven this car and I love it. Its one of the best looking large cars on the road and it handles very powerfully. I have owned the V8 and the hybrid powertrains and I love them all. Other luxury car makers think that displaying extra large screens and so-called "new" technology is the key to impressing buyers but this vehicle has all the possible options but in a tasteful less-is-more approach that many Lexus buyers prefer. Add to that is the staunch reliability factor than says more about quality than any flashy gimmicky nonsense that inevitably almost always breaks. By far this is my favorite large luxury car.
A triple zonk. Ouch😂 but yeah, on any luxury that comes with performance, they really should dial it down with the shiny stuff. It takes the aggression and toughness out of it. But I'd definitely add this to my list of dream cars.
"Swollen gland". You're killin' me, Joe!
Great review for a really nice car. Thanks guys.
I have a 18 Type R and really considering this to be my next car. The simplicity and the body lines are amazing. The lens setting you used captured it perfectly. Everything is turbo’d now and I’ve been driving my brothers V8 Dodge Ran around and my good it’s been fun. To put a V8 in a refined, reliable sedan is awesome. Reason why I won’t get a Charger. Also, I want to make drifting in the snow/rain my next hobby :)
Get a camera mount so your can safely rip the 500!
Easy on the "zonk" Joe. You are the best when reviewing these vehicles. As always, I enjoy your input. You can't go wrong purchasing a Lexus.
Personally, I don't think there's a reason to buy this with the F sport package. If you buy the LS you buy it for luxury which it does a great job at. If you want a sports sedan from Lexus the IS500 is amazing
@@JimmyJenkinJohnson then buy a car with a bigger engine, the F sport package doesn’t add speed or reduce weight. It’s all cosmetic
They did a great job with this LS- I think its beautiful inside and out. While the lack of 360 camera is a bit unacceptable at this pricepoint, the piano black center console area bothers me far more- that stuff scratches and smudges up so easily- it will look like crap in no time.
I'm surprised that this car is under $100k, given recent market conditions... Great review bro!
The LS500 is Lexus flagship vehicle. I think it’s grown to be a very nice design however that price is a big zonk. V6 twin turbo beats naturally aspirated v8 in regards to the fuel mileage. Once again Raiti you always come through 💯
@@cevinmoore8428 Did you drive one? The 6 beats all the 8s by a wide margin. 0-60. I've had 400s, a 430, 460s and now love my 19 LS500 the best. Again, it's quicker than the 8s.
@@bobcraig3648 Is the twin turbo V6 as refined and as smooth as the old V8? How about reliability. This is a dream car but the natural unrefinment of turbo coupled with its unreliability scares me.
"Love yourself 'cause if you do not- you cannot love another" Great gift Joe. You are a great guy. Bought tears to my eyes. Thanks so much. Best regards. Watch your car reviews to keep myself okay. Thanks again. I do love myself and now enjoy things not earlier. Just have an anxiety disorder.
Little bit old school interior and tech , but put together well!
Good job Joe 👍
Love the circuit city reference on the speakers…:lol. Ahh, brings back memories! Awesome video as always!
You’re good enough, I love you
Thanks man I needed that ❤
Great review always Joe! If anything the front Lexus badge & trims should've ALL been blacked out. There also should've been a black trunk spoiler or some type of wing
In my opinion the styling has aged well still looks good. The interior yes it’s dated hasn’t seen any changes in a while. I do miss the V8 :( under the hood that was one of the best things about the LS before the turbo V6
Nice review keep up the good work Joe
Awesome video and I love the humor !💯, LS Rocks 🔥
Great review as always! I agree that there is too much gloss black by the gear shifter. Other than that, this is a great looking vehicle.
Your all the car dad we need keep
Up the good stuff joe !
Great review as usual, thanks
I've been watching LS500 reviews for 3 months, this is, without a doubt the best of ALL of them. You , your cameraman/woman and editor did phenomenal work. I can see you work hard on making high quality reviews. Thanks for making the video.
Hi Joe! I personally love the Lexus front grill. This vehicle is gorgeous. Thanks for the great reviews. I’m a big fan of yours. Hope to meet you at a car show in California someday. Keep up the great work.
Good Job Joe...Thanks.
Sir, I am proud of you! You did a great job. Thank you very much.
Awesome! All it needs is an exhaust job (which it badly needs lol) and a black carbon fiber rear spoiler. Both are not terrible things, it has power, looks and space. Maybe a tune and it’s perfect for me.
I love the Lexus vehicles ... I have a 2017 IS myself! Capable, comfortable and reliable all at the same time!
Beautiful car, and the two live crew reference was great 😂.
Love that spindle grill. Very unique to Lexus which is a good thing
I love this car! Touchscreen is a great addition. But a 360 camera is a must for a 2023 car of this caliber! Hopefully, Lexus brings "F Performance" or "F Sport" to the LC500 with a touchscreen and 360 for 2025.😄
The grill looks awesome!
Love the LS Joe! Has always been a favorite of mine. But the 23 G90 is bringing it. Thanks for bringing it to us.
What a beauty, sure its not as tech advanced like the 7 or S but this spec is a head turner
What's the tunability like on these ? Reasonable prices or expensive?
They should have configured a mini beverage cooler / fridge into that rear seat center armrest console. I also think it should have had a minimum of 500 HP instead of 416 but with a decent tune that can be accomplished.
Nice car, better than I thought it would be. It’s funny that the G90 is the more conservative option the LS used to be. Love the interior and solidity, but if you can’t at least turn down the sound effects that might be close to a deal breaker.
Great review!!!
This car looks awesome and reliable. Hey Joe, what was your first car?
Yes I still love the front grille with the dark chrome
Keep up the good work
Hey Raiti, which is quicker between this LS and the G90?
Does the 2023 LS500 drive well in snow? It snows a lot where I’m from
Exterior looks great still interior needs updating and headroom is lacking a lot I think it would be more competitive with a less coupe like body style
It seems like you even have more subscribers now reaching million that's great
I love this car look good and Joe and Lori and Steve and keep up the good work and I love the video 👏 👍
I like this car so much. AWD and with that HP it has. I'm all good with how it looks and drive.
"look at the rainbows and taste the rainbows at the same time" - you are hilarious, Joe, especially on this review. With so many references to food, especially to desserts and snacks on all your videos, I wonder why you aren't 400 lbs! Thank you for all your reviews!
I was not expecting to laugh this hard on a video reviewing a Lexus sedan, but here I am. “Bust cream” got me 😂
Not too impressed with the interior. I have 2022 ES 350 F sport and I don’t see any much difference…
Very nice Joe the black badge is accessories available for that car
Definitely loving this one!!
This is a beautiful full sized sedan.
For me, that engine is total overkill. But for someone who needs a full sized, a thrill ride, but without having to take a "Buckboard Ride"...this YOUR car. I'll stick with our tame little UX. I do love the original spindle grill. But I've gotten somewhat more acceptable of this "Hair Lipped" version.🤭
What watch are you wearing in this?
I love how every car Joe previews, he asks the question, "is this the best new car?".
Thnx for the detailed walk around for everything on LS FSport. Your review help me pull the trigger for my LS 500. I got the Base Model with the Executive Package because the interior touches was just top notch compared to FS interior... I wanted the Grieko package but couldn't find one and was not willing to wait because interest rates was just climbing.. Lets go Br@#d0n. But now I wish I saved the money and got the FS because I dont use the Ottoman feature for the Exec Pkg... But I still love my LS. People don't believe my LS was $113k but i did the research for S500 and the 7 Series to many problems... I want this to be my last car I ever buy and I knew that would not be the case if I bought an Audi, Benz, or BMW...
He drives it like we want to see in reviews. Great job, man!
I love the new lineup Lexus is bringing to the table! I’ve seen many new rx’s and they are beautiful machines
🇺🇸 *LOVE this new Lexus LS 500 F Sport* !! *Happy the track pad is gone* !! *Interior is very well designed and appointed* !! *Yes, better than the G90* !! *Fantastic video Joe and Steven* !! #RaitisRides 🇺🇸
@@HondaXr650Loth the genesis and lexus are good cars in my opinion
Though your right
You can never go wrong with a lexus... reliability, style and just enough power
Can you please do a tutorial video on how to drive a manual transmission in your type R ? Thank you !
That TT V6 in the IS and RC would have been awesome!
Tell me about it have the 21 is350 and always wonder why lexus didn't put a turbo in it smh
Ngl I’m in 9th grade, but the Clock “lesson” when showing the infotainment system, was very nostalgic and fun 😂❤
I wonder if there's a way to code the pumped in sound out. If it's available, it's the first thing I do. I turned it off in my Golf R and my M340i.
Its a Lexus, so Yes for sure...
Since Joe's a stand up guy, he wouldn't push the chauffeur button if DeMuro were in the passenger seat.
I love this one Joe. 😎👌👍
"If you have a swollen gland" I love it 🤣
Just got mine delivered, same model, and look. White with blackouts. Drives like a wet dream, smooth, powerful, quiet, and luxurious. My gift as a 60 plus year old, my grandsons love it!
