Fun fact:
If you pay close attention to the name of Doctor 0 on FNV (vanilla version, no mods) you will notice that there's not a O on Doctor 0 name... But a zero (0)
It's been like that all the time, but we never noticed because of how similar are the O from the 0 on FNV vanilla fonts.
I think the implication is at that smart, you're the autistic kinda smart and care enough to explain these details.

I always do 9 intelligence for the xp and buy the surgery to increase it to 10.
Level up as much as possible.
This is my first run realizing you need 0 charisma points already leveled up 6 times during old world blues
Intelligence doesn't change xp or level up speed in Fallout 3 or New Vegas. That's a 4 thing.
It does increase skill points at level up though.

High charisma intelligence and luck to 9 with 7 endurance
Get all speech unlocks like math wrath sneering imperialist cannibal (lol) terrifying presence and the seduction / extra damage on male / female perks.
Same with a low intelligence build just failing speech checks does stuff like arcade ganon and veronica following you as companions to make sure you're safe lol

OWB was by far my favorite part of New Vegas but I'm also a filthy 3 & 4 enjoyer who never felt tthe hype for NV.
It’s honestly my favorite DLC of any game ever. It’s so well done and funny.
It’s also representative of the course breaking the recursion programming put in by doctor Mobius.
think about putting a slash in the 0 is changing the symbol from an infinite loop to something real.

i fucking KNEW i recognized their voices cause i’ve heard some of those same voices in Aqua Teen.
funny thing is, you later learn from Dr Mobius that Dr O's name is not in fact 0, Klein had it correct with O. O and Borous' names are linked, and they reference Oroborous.
Just finished OWB again, and it made me think of this video after going back and exploring all the lore.
personally, however, i still like hitting the genius check. even though you later learn the true origins of their names, it feels like you help 0 establish his own identity. somewhat breaking the chains of his loop in Big MT without letting him out. every character in the dlc has a really good arc of finding their own identity. at the end of the day they're all just a bunch of researchers who got too lost in their science. all they needed was the courier to snap them out of it and get them back on track to help humanity again

This DLC made me so happy hearing Dr. Venture's voice as a character. Made the DLC feel like an episode of Venture Bros. lol
The Think Tank really were some of the most entertaining antagonists I've ever seen in a game.
Like, going against the grain I know, but there's quite a few things about NV I don't like - armor piercing rounds, for example. Or just walking in a big circle for the first half of the game.
But I fucking love the Think Tank.
Best psrt of owb is how much it references newerr gen sci fi instead of jist 40s and 50s obscura like dead money did. Every VA was a sci fi character from my childhood. Every voice a sense of nostalgia baked through out.
These types of interactions are why I always put points into intelligence charisma and perception. I played this dlc one time and got completed this check.
Charisma is useless, you are better off simply leveling barter and speech, unless you like having a compagnon

I played it twice, first time as an idiot and second time as a genius. These are two completely different DLCs basically and it's hilarious both times, only made better by how different it is

Aight technically that symbol isn’t “really” zero, its the null space/vector symbol, meaning a vector comprised of just zeroes,like the (0,0,0) coordinates, that’s technically a null space, practically zero if you ask me

Fallout 3 for a great post-apocalyptic horror vibe. The music and colour pallet in 3 really sell the hopelessness of the times. New Vegas for an objectively better RPG experience, insofar as your actions have far-reaching and tangible consequences which is where 3 falls down. New Vegas’ allows you to play your story; 3 allows you to play Bethesda’s story.

I'm playing Fallout 3 right now, and I can say that overall New Vegas is better, but Fallout 3 has the better game world. In terms of writing, character builds and mechanics FNV is superior, but honestly the Mojave is a little boring to travel because its a lot smaller than the Capital Wasteland and a lot safer. You can get into some pretty wild fights in DC that are missing in Mojave, and that's a pity.
Really, if Fallout 4 was just Fallout 3's maps but with FNV's mechanics (albeit slightly improved) and writing then it would be perfect. It isn't though, so I have to find a mod that does that to Fallout 3.
Old world blues probably the best fallout new vegas DLC, great level designs, unique weapons, interisting world building and ofcourse comedy
