I know they were trying things differently but man, I've missed a list feature from Rob, Rob you don't even need to put effort in these lists, I just want to hear you talk about your favourite games and your history with them :)
In the Bloodborne DLC…wandering around in the massive cathedral for way too long with no sense of direction, until I finally saw the big door I was supposed to go through…and after pushing it open you see the boss name is “Living Failures”. The irony was too much…I was laughing too hard to fight them 🙈

@@Mr_pumpkin_ I think she means that this Friday Feature is in the form of a Tuesday Checklist. Thus, we received a Tuesday Checklist and Friday Feature in one.
The Balrog from Lord of the Rings: The Third Age. He may not be harder than Sauron in absolute terms, but you meet him so early that you don't even have your full party yet, and those you do have haven't had time to develop their powers.
At least Rob gets it… lol everyone else is picking the most difficult games. Albeit ones considered easier bosses from each games, but these are considered the most difficult games for a reason. I love the entire PlayStation Access team, but they’re just wrong on this one, except Rob. My easy boss that I couldn’t do was probably Dragon Age: Inquisition - I don’t know if this is considered an easy game, but even on the easiest difficulty, I have trouble with one of the green demons that summon at a waterfall. I can tell you exactly where they are in my mind because my character has been stuck there for years. Occasionally I will start back up again, maybe even from scratch and always end up, right there. It’s only a few hours in, and I feel like Rob’s helpless Bloodborne character stuck at the bridge, only this is a waterfall on easy on a game not considered difficult.
Not far from horse master dennets stables in the hinterlands.. Thats a higher level rift, one you're supposed to come back to later on. If you decide to play it again just focus on getting to skyhold
I will admit, I was also stumped by Papu-Papu at first. I got so deeply in the habit of spin-attacking enemies in the first few levels that I forgot you could hit enemies by jumping on them, and since Papu-Papu is immune to spin attacks, I was very confused for far too long.
Runt - Kingdom Come. When you realize even on the hardest difficulty that a single arrow to the head can kill him. instead of the three hours I spent fighting that s.o.b. with swords.
Off the top of my head, I would have to say The Sorrow from MGS3. I spent a few days constantly replaying his "Boss fight" over and over again. Because I am dumb.
Very recent one for me - Elena’s Dharma in Spiritfarer. Not even a boss fight, and also entirely optional. But somehow the stress induced by the game suddenly putting a really generous timer and targets on activities you’ve done countless times easily already at your own pace is suddenly enough to make them seem like a full on seven stager of a boss fight 🤣🤣
Okay, so I've noticed Dave has been really knocking home runs with the jokes. His sense of humor is like wine, just keeps getting better and better as time goes on. Props on Rosie for saying that tongue twister on her first entry! You know what, ALL OF Y'ALL ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!
Ahhh the opening "hello you've caught me" brings nostalgia chills like I never knew I needed! My boss pick is Bowser from Mario Bros. Simple movements, predictable patterns, but I still found myself being drawn to his spikes like a seagull to a bag of chips 🤦♂️
Well, when easy bosses appear in the middle of the game, it tends to make you overthink and lose your cool which leads to many deaths. As for dragon god, he's tricky and it's not immediately apparent what you need to do.
In the last few videos where Dave has popped up it seems pretty obvious to me that he's put in some good effort to lose a bit of weight. I don't think there was any issue previously, but you've put in a stellar attempt and you look alot healthier. Well done.
I used to do runs through Mega Man X as a kid.. the trick with Chill Penguin was to hit the jump and dash buttons at the same time while clinging to the wall and jump behind Chill Penguin and shoot him when he started getting too close to you. Makes the fight and several others in the game much easier.
Mine had to be Iudex Gundyr from DS3. Admittedly, it was my first playthrough of ANY DS game and I chose Deprived because my poor, unsuspecting JRPG brain saw an opportunity to min/max stats... Had I only known what fresh hell I was inviting upon myself. Only took 16 tries! 😂🤣
For me it's the first time you fight William Birkin in the RE2 Remake. I kept shooting him in his giant eyeball but I always kept running out of ammo before beating him.
Big one for me was the Giant Alligator in Resident Evil 2 original! I for many many years did not realize you could just drop a barrel on the hallway and one shot him when he munches down on it....I always fought him like everything else. My poor ammo...
