Venti's Hold Skill is 15 seconds cooldown. The upcurrent created is 20 seconds.

I played him from 1.6 rerun banner onward. And NGL he is was OP as hell back then but as soon as Inazuma came out his value dropped. Kazuha made venti kinda redundant in most cases.
The best venti team for quite a while was ganyu venti but well freeze fell off too. So ye he is in a bad spot. Him weapon helped him but it's a weapon just put it on anyone and it will work.
They won't buff venti anyway but I do hope he will be fantastic to play in the future.

One big missing elemetal skill from this list is Nilou's skill. By itself the skill is not that great but since we include talents that state the skill by name, it belongs there. The damage of Nilou blooms is much higher than almost anything on this list and those blooms can only be triggered while Nilou's skill is active. Although by the rulings, this skill is too intertwined with the character as Nilou is basically just a passive. Bonus points for being the only skill that changes how an elemental reaction works.
And for more flavor is you can activate the skill into different mode

I think Nahida's skill is better than you give it credit for. I'd certainly not say it's usefulness is tied to her ultimate. Constant, strong off field dendro application is huge for many teams. The ult is more like the cherry on top. Also I'd say if you're considering overworld usefulness Wanderer might make the list due to it being the best traversal skill in the game, and being a core part of his kit. I might rank it over Yelan overall actually.

I would rank it way over Yelans. Yelans skill is cool but her burst is her kit realistically. Nahida is one of the single best characters in the game and her whole kit is mainly tied to her skill, to the point that in some cases casting her burst is genuinely a DPS loss
Nahida's E basically negated any dendro off-fielder even in the future with only 5 sec CD

I am surprised Wanderer`s Hanega Song of the Wind is not there. It is the perfect balance between damage and mobility.
I’d give the honorable mention to Baizhu and Kokomi as their skills make up a huge majority of their kits as well in my opinion.
For Baizhu, his instant team wide healing and dendro application is one of the main reasons why he’s amazing, especially in Furina teams.
The same goes for Kokomi, amazing hydro application with good on field healing. The radius of the application is huge and the skill stays on field for a good duration of time as well.
Vars focused too much on "damage" that he forgets utility characters' skills. This two are literally walking statue of sevens, yet they weren't mention. Meanwhile, two electro off-fielders whom skills only does damage gets a spot.

and then you remember that Kokomi skill only works because of the refresh with her burst. lol

Kokomo’s skill is independent, it doesn’t rely on her burst. The refreshing of her skill is really only an add on/gimmick of the burst.

Without the burst refresh Kokomi hydro application fall off a cliff
for Nahida, the burst is a good buff to the skill when in the abyss, but for 95% of the game, the skill is enough and cast the burst is a waist of time.

Id pick navia tbh over yelan. Sure yelan is battery, high multpiplier, traversal yada yada, but her kit revolves around her burst unlike navia’s which is literally almost all her damage. Thats me but all in all good list ❤❤❤
That’s what I was thinking, it’s literally just a bit of hydro damage. And you can run for a bit, literally just an average skill mainly used only for energy, unlike Navia who does insane damage
I would like to add an honorable mention, Wanderer’s Hanega: Song of the Wind.
I know Anemo DPS kinda need Faruzan c6 to function but cmon, being able to hover in the air to attack, no charged atk stamina cost, extra buffs based on swirled elements and being able to zoom anywhere you want is cool as fuck
NGL if wander had interrupt resistance (even with constellation) and a bit longer duration at least out of combat he would be OP but sadly we can only dream.

It's fun to zoom around with but anytime you have to chain it to get somewhere further than like from the entrance of a domain to the key (back when we had to climb stairs) it feels clunky while yelan can just keep chaining her skill for fast traversal. I used to have them both on an overworld team for farming but then when xianyun came out I ended up replacing him because she can go fast downward too. But I'd still rate his skill above Xianyun overall obviously for combat reasons.

I feel like an honourable mention should be Navia’s, considering it’s probably the skill with the highest damage in the game, also it has two charges which is nice

I think its a tossup between her and xingqiu. Xingqiu has the advantage of being able to forward vape both hits on his E.
I would say this list is missing Navia's Elemental Skill. It is easily one of the most highest damaging elemental skills in the game and stacking up to 6 shrapnels isn't hard and it also buffs your base/plunge attacks for a few seconds and causes geo infusion.
Also it comes with 2 charges without any constallations and if we include C2 of Navia, you even get a free shrapnel due to spawning a shot of her Ult on hit.
Also small underastimated bonus is her Ousia? hit at the end of her skill which is great to have such quick access to that if you need it.

I definitely enjoy skills or abilities that either infuse or augment a character's normal attacks to deal elemental damage. It just feels impactful in a satisfying way, I guess?
Same but those are way different and the skill is basically there to infuse and don’t do anything else, so it’s better to put characters that actually depend on their skill for dmg not infusions or stance changes

I'd say Nahida is the opposite of what you said, MOST if not all of her power comes from the skill, her burst does literally nothing but power up her skill via her passives, even without the burst active Nahida's skill is still the best dendro skill in the game

I would give a slot for Baizhu's skill. It's pretty much an elemental burst-esque party-wide heal but tied to a skill which you don't need energy and the cooldown is pretty short.
I know this video wasn't really ranked (or was it?), but I'd be surprised if Nahida's skill isn't considered the best in the game. Really it's kinda all her kit, and she's considered one of the best characters in the game. I remember when I first got into Genshin, I was looking up tier lists and character roles, and kept seeing Nahida in the top tier and being listed as a support. Now that I've dove deep into the game and pulled Nahida, I don't even think she really is a support at all, beyond some incidental EM buffs.
The only choice I think should have been there would be Kokomi, probably over either Kazuha or Yelan.
Personally the way I would have gone about this list would be to ask "in a theoretical alternate universe where Traveller could inherit other character's elemental skills, which ones would be the most useful?" But even under that criteria, I think this list was pretty good. Oz would be way less effective under this idea without A4 and Hu Tao's E would probably be bad given Traveller doesn't scale on HP, but otherwise I'd probably pick pretty much the same skills

I generally agree with your list. As for Johny's pillar- it can do quite a nice damage also..I,m saving for his c2 now. Kazu skill - i use it more often than burst tbh
Xianyun's skill is the most fun skill for me personally especially at C1. You are just flying across the map, so fun.

All these make sense but Yelan…? Fair enough for exploration convenience I guess but its damage and grouping aren’t *that* impressive, I’d put Sucrose over her in both those any day. There’s also Nilou, putting her in feels more like honorable mention to a unique playstyle the skill opens up but the video still feels incomplete without her and she definitely goes in over Yelan.

I don't really disagree with the Kazuha choice, but I do think Wanderer would be a superior candidate for it. Both in terms of exploration and damage, since that's how you measured Kazuha's contribution.
It doesn't group enemy drops. You have no idea how important this is until you try to farm hilichurl masks or spectre drops on a team with him vs without him. Night and day. 😅
I agree, Kazuha does help grouping and add in better reactions but Wanderer's skill let you fly and instantly boost attack.
If you give Neuvilette Kazuha,s skill then it won't change much but if you give him Wanderer's skill....

Yelan and Xianyun can do what Wanderer does (even better than him depending on what you want in Yelan's case and Xianyun is straight up superior and the top him even further at their C1's wich the video criteria allows since its up to C2 for 5 stars)
but Kazuha? nobody can gather items like him and more importantly if you actually know how to use him you will realize he's the best unit for scaling up terrain vertically since every 6 seconds you can get an additional jump and as if that wasn't enough *if you run out of stamina mid climb Kazuha can actually slowly regenerate your stamina as you climb* (and all of these climbing utilities only got better now that we have the Fontaine LV5 Reputation Gadget since he climbs even faster with that now)
what Wanderer brings isn't even close to what Kazuha brings even in exploration

Xianyun can move fast sure but Wanderer gives much more precise movement. There are memes where Xianyun jumps off cliffs bc a npc event is triggered while you never get that with Wanderer. Collecting _culus with Wanderer is much more comfy than any other characters.
Now back to your fav Kazuha. Lmao Wanderer also regen stamina while flying. The only important thing Kazu cam give you is climibing. I would take more time collecting drops while flying over infinite climbing any day. And if you use comparison like you did, I would take Xianyun over Kazu everyday.
I can move from montain cliffs to another montain cliff with Wanderer and Xianyun easily. Can your mighty Kazu do it? Can he move across water? Can he gather flying stuffs????

That's about it. It's only helpful in the overworld, and not THAT much. In paper sounds great, but in practice it isn't that amazing. His damage, cooldown, etc., in battle isn't outstanding either. Specially not when compared to the ones on the list.
@@Emmanuel_Rocha If we talking about skill that's actually a lot. Hu tao skill is on the list and only has damage and elemental damage conversion (Wanderer doesn't need that because he a catalyst user).
I mean how can you have Hu tao and Kazu skill in a list but not a skill that fuse both?
@@overlordshiina This. If Hutao's skill is on the list, then Yoimiya's should on the list too, since both basically do the same. Sure Hutao's has Interruption Resistance, but most players bring Zhongli anyway, and her buff also doesn't do that much either. Imo Wanderer's one should be on the list, not Hutao.

Kazuha deserves to be on this list, he was my first 5 star and i saw a video saying "if you main kazuha you forget not every enemy is just grouped up on command and youre carried", and frankly i cant fully deny that claim lol

I'd say no because the grouping isn't that great mostly because it's around the player and imo Sucrose does a better job grouping and has 2 charge
@overlordshiina i have a harder time grouping with sucrose than kazuha. It could be a skill issue for me, but i swear the vacuum on his E is bigger than sucroses. Also, the grouping is great for characters like Nuvilette as i can get all enemies in 1 hydro pump.
Also the e and plunge staggers most enemies
@@darakin5172 Sucrose grouping is weaker than Kazuha but the extra charge make up for it, also ranged means I can keep mob away from me.

I agree with the majority, buuut i prefer Xingqiu skill over Yelan skill. It does one big instance of dmg, it applies hydro, it semi-shielde and it also heals at the end.
Yelan skill is not bad, but because the cooldown, it doesn't feel that that relevant at C0
I also think that four electros with sinilar skills is too much.
Great video idea, loved it. One thing that should have been mentioned to further cement Yelan's Skill being in there is that is 1 of the 3 ways to buff character's max HP, I think, I just thing its important because it enables the 100k HP furina while still using a CR/CD circlet instead of HP circlet

Kazuha's skill do makes sense to be here. Kazuha became the best crowd control, much better defined him as mass mob killing machine, all because of his elemental skill. With or without his A4, he is a monster.
If I'll remove a character or two here, it will be Fischl and Yae. Their skills are just damage. A large damage indeed, yet in a game where any DPS can deal high amount of damage does their skills really make any difference? Yae's skill is better against bosses that can go underground and enemies that can be grouped. Aside from that it was just an okay skill. Fischl relies too much on A4 passive, without that her damage is really mediocre.
Characters that should have been on that list would be Nilou, Kokomi or Baizhu. For Nilou, she relies too much on passive for her skill to be useful. But isnt it the same as Fischl? Kokomi and Baizhu's skills made them literally a walking statue of the seven.
You're underestimating Yae's skill, probably because you default to using Kaz. Yae's skill with C2 has so much reach, and if you give her a bit of support to crank up its damage, be it dendro or Furina, everything just dies. You don't need crowd control when there are no crowds to control. She's one of the few characters (Nahida being another) that trivially disposes of groups of spread out enemies without needing Kaz.
That said, the damage is on the weak side at C0, because the devs put too much of her power budget into her burst for Raiden reasons, and so you need cons to get her elemental skill where it really should have been at c0.
Feel like Gorou should be included, at least an honorary mention. Does his skill prioritize geo teams, yes, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad. If anything it excels at what it does. Plus the buffs are honestly very use full. Got just Gorou, 1 geo characters, you have an increase to def. Lot of people limit that to characters like Itto and Noelle. But it's also handy for characters like Xinyan and Yun Jin. Have 2 geo characters, enjoy the def increase along with an increased resistance to interruption. Something that a large majority of characters would favor. And with characters like Yun Jin that's technically not limited to mono geo team. Granted are those teams for everyone, no, but its not as limiting with just 2 geo characters as some people claim. The mono geo team part of his skill only really becomes a thing when there's 3 geo characters. When you receive the other buffs plus a geo bonus damage. Which is great when at that point majority of team is geo anyway. But what really makes Gorou's skill incredibly good is how easy it is to build, especially if going for support build. One of his best artifacts is a 4*, The Exile. A weapon that is great on him is the Favonius Warbow, one everyone is essentially given for free. Building his skill is incredibly forgiving to those in the early game, while those in later parts can focus more on building their other characters. It's honestly a nice skill. I think people overlook it at times.

Yae's elemental skill is better than Fischl's. That it hits underground, in the air, and the reach it has with C2... it's great. Of course, Fischl has her A4, but that's not her elemental skill.
I agree that Navia (or Baizhu) should be on this list, but I would drop Ei instead of Yelan or Miko. Her skill really isn't her strength unless you're using her full EM and in that case it doesn't make this cut for the same reason Nilou didn't--reliance on other characters.
Xianyun's hopping is the most fun I have traversing the open world, especially with C1.
Look up C6 that's truly insane infinite skill usage

To be frank, if the value of Nahida's elemental skill is tied to her burst, so is Furina's.
I think I would add Xianyun’s skill in this list, mostly because for the exploration aspect but also because of the atk buff it grants

the skill gives from 4% to 10% Crit Rate (I think it was 4% - 10% not sure could be more)

I feel like I would put C6 Lynette before that since it's anemo (if element of character is attached to skill that is)
But wriothesley definitely comes before this one. Even chiori I have to say has a more important skill than yelan. Or like baizhu or kokomi with so much healing tied to their skills. And if zhongli is literally no.1 then C6 Layla's shield is pretty potent aswell. Oh, and like alhaitham's skill? That's like his entire kit. And tighnari, giving 3 lvl 2 CA in quick succession, imagine if that was on ganyu. OH, and wanderer, that's literally more traversal than yelan and gives alot of damage

Anything that applies element periodically even without the caster being onfield is good enough for me.
I think Yelan skill is a miss. It's just a big damaging skill. The traversal part is easily replaced by Sayu, Wanderer or Kirara.
Good selection, though quite overlooked Kokomi's skill is one of the few no ICD skills plus it's hydro, which a good number of teams would want (e.g. freeze, bloom, taser) and it also covers the healer/sustain slot.
I really didn't expect you to think Zhongli would be controversial...but I kind of am lost on Mikos skill. I used to play her for a bit but it just feels so incredibly clunky even with C2. I would have expected Wanderer or Kokomi, maybe even Kaeya or Kaveh for the memes
Do you recon you could talk about hydro and how prominent it is and how each unit released within the element always ends up powercreeping another hydro unit (Furina and mona) (Yelan and xinqiu)

The biggest reason I agree with Kazuha E being one of the best, is because the CD is perfect for constant swirl buffs without burst. And because you can easily double swirl.
I still think beidou's and yunjin's have the coolest elemental skills.Having the ability to defend an attack and giving it right back will never not be dope

These are great skills. I would have made a similar list but exclude raiden and shibobu’s skills.
Nilou skill I'm a little surprised wasn't on the list, I think her effect on the bloom reaction is kinda a game changer
I would rank childe as #1. Why? Reptide- The single most satisfying mechanics in all of genshin is unlocked by that skill 🗣️
One that I’m shocked wasn’t here is Neuvillette’s O Tears, I Shall Repay. It’s the backbone of his entire kit(excluding his burst O Tides, I Have Returned)
Having ground out the Golden Wolflord boss for the past week, Corrosion builds the hell _up,_ that fight is so irritating when I'm relying on Furina for healing.

not trying to be biased here, but kokomi deserves to be on this list too! although her release was kinda controversial due to the fact that she has negative crit rate, we can't deny that she's excellent at what she does best. her skill offers more than decent consolidation of roles needed for any team --- off-field AoE hydro application, massive heals, can extend duration through her burst, can equip ToTM for atk buffs or OHC for additional damage or SoDP for damage buffs.
Surprised to see Shinobu here. I mean I use her on my main team, which is Hyperbloom, and I love her but didn't expect to see her make the list.
faves so far (of what tested) i liek yelans skill, wanderors skill, bird adeptus human form (forgot her name atm), nahidia, raidon showgun and basicaly most the healers qiqi baizu kokomi furina eta eta.

vars's hutao is just like mine. the burst damage can either be 10k or 100k
I’m not surprised kokomi skill didn’t make it on the list, it’s a good ability, but because it doesn’t follow at all, it’s much less effective

@@jordyn-vb3cf I main Kokomi. She applies hydro to enemies around the jelly, I’m also not getting frozen at any point when fighting cryo enemies
@@404missingname7 i don’t think that you Main kokomi because every kokomi Main would know that she applies hydro to herself. Just go in the game and get affected by pyro and then use her skill

I’m shocked by the lack of Nilou since the entire point of her kit which is bloom centers around using her elemental skill.
Itto should definitely be among the top ten best elemental burst. He practically gets the highest attack bonus from it
