    Summary:
    Note: The char you choose also matters! (10:42)
    1:48 Freeze: Hydro + Cryo
    2:20 Shatter: Frozen enemy + Blunt atk = 1.5x DMG
    3:06 Vaporize (1.5x): Hydro + Pyro ; Vaporize (2x): Pyro + Hydro
    4:03 Melt (1.5x): Pyro + Cryo ; Melt (2x): Cryo + Pyro
    4:26 Overload: Pyro + Electro = 2x DMG
    5:10 Electro-charged: Hydro + Electro = 1.2x DMG ; you can add other elements to trigger another reaction
    6:12 Superconduct: Electro + Cryo = More physical dmg
    6:48 Swirl: Anemo + Cryo/Pyro/Electro/Hydro
    7:19 Crystallize: Geo + Cryo/Pyro/Electro/Hydro (not recommended as it's just a shield)
    8:22 Burn: Dendro + Pyro (others are better)
    8:35 Bloom: Dendro + Hydro (creates dendro cores) ; Dendro cores + Pyro/Electro = 3x DMG (nice)
    10:13 Quicken: Dendro + Electro ; Quicken + Dendro = 1.25x DMG ; Quicken + Electro = 1.15x DMG

    they should add more elemental reaction for GEO
    like
    Molten = Geo + Pyro
    sludge = Geo + Hydro
    Overgrowth = Geo + dendro

    More tips: The character you choose as apply element is recommended to have dot damage skill, for example, Fischl has the element skill to do dot damage, which means she can constantly apply the element on a enemy while you can changing to another elemental character to trigger the elemental reaction on the enemy. No need to swap back and forth too many times.

  • @leaf111
    @leaf111 10 місяців тому +8

    worth noting that crystallize is really great for navia cause the shards make her elemental skill deal a lot more damage. it's also a useful reaction for breaking elemental shields

      Yes but also no, a lot of enemies are weak or resistant to specific elemental damage, the most obvious example are the slimes who are completely immune to damage of the same element as them

    Geo-Anemo or Dendro-Cryo

    I honestly feel like geo needs more reactions other than shatter and crystallize, for example, anemo and geo makes a sandstorm which make a geo vortex vacuum thing or it applies geo in a huge area and stuns enemies. Crystallize should also be reworked, either give it a stronger shield or make it do good damage

    You need to emphasize on the difference between Amplifying, Transformative & Additive reactions at the start of the video, NOT at the end. It is the most crucial part of all reactions in the game & people can be misled since it was only mentioned at the end of the video, which most viewers have most likely left.

    • @GIBlacky
      @GIBlacky  Рік тому +13

      Thank you for the feedback. However I'd argue if one doesn't know anything about the system, therefore looks for a guide and the first thing you hear is someone listing a dozen different reactions, inzroducing terms like "additive", "transformative" and "amplifying" and explains how crit, EM and ATK influence reaction damage, I'd personally insta quit. I structured the video this way intentionally. In my opinion the best way to teach is going from general to specific.
      And if someone who needs guidence quits a guide before the end then that's up to them. But if they missed something then, this is none of the creator'd business. You're free to disagree though. Just my opinion 😉

    • @dudleyboy5327
      @dudleyboy5327 25 днів тому

      probably bcs aggravate is easier to trigger with Nahida for ex having dendro constantly applied so u just keep on hitting with electro, on the other hand there aren't that much hydro applicators for hyperbloom so using them on vaporize or flat dmg could be better. that's just my opinion i still dk how dmg calculations work in depth

    My question is…
    How do you trigger these reactions?
    Is it automatic? Or do you have to do you manually ?

    • @Mehetti
      @Mehetti 10 місяців тому +2

      you manually apply the individual elements onto said enemies in order suggested in the video and the reaction triggers. Some characters can do this easier than others.

    • @Stewarew
      @Stewarew 10 місяців тому +3

      Most of the time is manually other times it is auto. Let's say you have Lisa who is a catalysis who automatically applies electro with each hit. It just depends on who you are playing and what enemies you are playing against. Keep in mind the environment can also apply elemental effects

      Don't you ever think that electro never become meta? Luckly that geo had ever touched the top of meta even in very f2p friendly build, especially since itto and navia's existance. While electro itself never touched the top of meta due to worse , too expensive (literally rob your savings for its cons + sign weap) and worthless mechanism

    if xianling uses her ultimate and chonyun uses his abilitiy and aa the enemy so he infuses him with cryo and then xianglings ult hits the enemy while she is not on the field...whose stats are improtant for the reaction then? Cause u said that the person triggering the reaction should have the good states...but who is triggering in in this example. The on field character (Chongyun) or the characater who used the ability (Xianling)

    Does dendro res shred on deepwood memories affect hyperbloom dmg?

  • @marmar_rat
    @marmar_rat 9 місяців тому +17

    So a good team would be for a good element reaction:
    Pyro
    Hydro
    Electro
    Dendro
    Is what I'm understanding?

    • @GIBlacky
      @GIBlacky  8 місяців тому +4

      If you combine Hydro with Dendro, then you will automatically create these Dendro Cores. However in this case I would focus on either Electro or Pyro as the 3rd element because getting Burgeon and Hyperbloom at the same time is a bit inconsustent 😉
      For starters it's also very much possible to stick with just two different elements per team like Hydro and Pyro and then only go vor Vaporize. Always depends on which characters you have 😉

    This is a very poor guide with very misleading formulation of sentences
    2:26 For everyone who thinks shatter gives you a damage multiplier on the attack triggering reaction: No, it doesn't.
    Shatter is a transformative reaction. Unlike melt or vape (multiplicative reactions) shatter DOES NOT MULTIPLY the damage of attack triggering reaction, instead it creates a new instance of damage which only scales on levels, elemental mastery and enemy resistances. The 1.5x he mentions is is a REACTION MULTIPLIER EXCLUSIVE TO TRANSFORMATIVE REACTIONS which then gets multiplied by level multiplier, elemental mastery multiplier and resistances to determine the final damage number. Once again, it does not affect the damage of attack triggering it
    Because bosses are immune to being frozen they also can't be shattered
    4:38 Overload is a transformative reaction, refer to reaction multipliers
    5:30 Electrocharged is also a transformative reaction, refer to reaction multipliers
    6:05 Vaporized* and overloaded
    8:13 The strongest element at the moment of posting this comment (and back in 4.0) is hydro. It enables both dendro reactions and other powerful reactions like vape, freeze and to lesser extent electrocharged
    9:20 Burgeon and hyperbloom are transformative reactions, refer to reaction multipliers
    10:30 Spread and aggravate also do not offer multipliers to attacks triggering those reactions. Instead they add a flat damage number into the damage calculation of said attack and this flat number is determined by em, level multipliers and reaction multipliers of 1.25 and 1.15 respectively
    Despite the guy telling which stats to build for which reactions, the reaction multipliers he was listing during the guide (except vape and melt) are completely misrepresented and shouldn't have been included, go watch a better guide
