- Hey Everyone!! This Switch Axe Matchup Is Tricky In Sunbreak, In todays video i got requested a couple times to go play the switch axe and one of them specifically wanted to see a monster i find quite tricky with swaxe. Hope You Enjoy

Because someone is going to mention their beloved zsd, yes, looking at the footage while editing it probably would have given me some extra uptime with the 2 attacks that he doesn't just obliterate you off of him with it, but im not going to risk that with my luck, so i'd much rather do what works especially without stun res (because you really shouldn't be getting hit that much in general at this stage in the game) and without blood blight since he's not a proper afflicted monster so i'll have to waste time healing afterwards.
Zsd is cool and all. But I prefer not using it unless I know I have a huge knockdown, but then again, it seems like it's more damage to just wail on them with your morph combo! Appreciate the video!
Rathian is like the only monster I use zsd on right as she readies her backflip.

By the way what does adrenaline rush do
Increase attack after a perfect evade during 30sec
Lvl1: 10 extra attack
Lvl2: 15 extra attack
Lvl3: 30 extra attack

That dragon element stomp reminds me of aaletreons' move. Wonder if it is just copied.

Was doing this boss recently and thought I was just shit since I couldn't time my counter and he would just spam tornado hits. I guess i can try going back to rapid morph spam unga bunga.
I’m actually not certain, does the amatsu swaxe apply the damage buff to the full counter or just the first part? Same thing with the soaring wyvern blade, does it apply on the phial pop or only the stab down?
Just the first two hits of the counter (which are not the strongest attacks) and in soaring blade just the stab. So the buff doesnt make much of a difference.
