1:20 happens to me all the time, getting ready to counter a roar only for my Palicoes to sleep/paralyze the monster lol
My Pamlico never shoots and when he does he never hits (I'm in mhw)
I'm a little disappointed you can target lock him while he's invisible. It kinda defeats the point of him going invisible if you can just press a button and automatically know where he is. You can't target lock Chameleos when he goes invisible so it should be the same for Lucent.
I hope it gets fixed but...that may take a while :/

On the other hand, lucents theme actually gets muffled when invisible.
No because even if Lucent nargacuga is invisible u can still see his red eyes glowing so u would still b able to know where he is
@@ssplif5415 That would mean the player should have a keen awareness on where to look for it. Not by pressing a button.

@@vaeiskii still, dont buy it. most speed runner still need hours of playing to master the monster move set. it's not about the weapon proficiency

@@s.hussain8031 Playing so much that the RGN moveset and healthpool, min/max builds and knowing the best combo's adding up to these fast runs. Life or no life, it takes time and skill to know how to exploit everything the game has to offer.

I'm today years old when I acknowledge that Kage are now TDS member.
I saw they were using Phial Switch Boost rampage decoration, does that provide an advantage greater than that of Elembane or Anti-Species in this fight?

Chris did a video on how to get good charms faster. Don‘t know if that still works with the new update though. It‘s the 8 advanced tips one.
Basicly you save up 10 MP accelerants, deactivate auto saving, do your 10 anima melds with the accelerants look if you got anything good; if not quit out the game without saving.
Go into the game again, do 1 meld without the accelerant do quest(I just do my usual follower quests of farm MR points). After the quest collect the newly melded charm Save your game.
Do the 10 anima melds with the accelerants, repeat this until you got a good one.
I did this to get a good charm for my CB sets with
2 Rapid Morph, 2 Whirebug whisperer; 3 slot, 2 slot, 1 slot
For pc you can just edit them in and skip all the rng. I haven’t brought myself to do it personally, but don’t really fault anyone who does.

Yet here y'all are with a speed run of the new Narga. Did you get the update early or something? Did you just clear the content that fast? You kids are wild with how fast you do things these days.
It's pretty neat that more and more weapons have counters. LS's counter was one of my favorite things in MHW so it's nice to see that functionality get expanded to more weapons.
On the other hand, the effect of it is that the weapons based on counters become less unique and interesting (I'm thinking of CB). It's only my personal opinion though.
It would be cool to get more endgame builds
i think the charm is modded though so this will be hard to recreate as a build

Day 1 and TDS is already making mincemeat of new monsters in less than 4 minutes.
So I'm confused...I see people saying to not use critical eye or crit boost on Switch Axe because your phials and ZSD dont crit. So let's say you aren't using ZSD as much bc of the risk of damage or maybe you are doing something else...
I know there are priorities for the SA, but for overall damage is it worth it?

So quick question why Ballistics? Was that just a by-product of the set ir something useful for SA?
It comes with the sailor skirt. There's no use for ballistics but that 3 protective polish is super useful.

Precisely. The older rendition of the forlorn arena was far more spacious. The sunbreak iteration is roughly the size as the arena, which is relatively condensed.
I wonder if he will appear in the wild or is he only stuck here because would had loved to hear nargacuga theme when fighting this 1
I’m pretty sure he needs to be in the forlorn arena to be invisible so if that’s the case then he probably won’t be in the wild

I'm new to switch axe and have a really stupid question: How is your sword meter always full? I feel like I'm reloading like every 45 seconds but I never see it in speedruns.. Am I just bad?
The switcher rampage deco basically lets you maintain/regain gague with the standard morph spam combo
Along with the 2way Switch combo refills the gauge pretty much everytime you do it.
Doing morph attacks refil gauge. Watch his moves and you’ll see what buttons hes pressing.

Every weapon in rise has counter move. Monsters also have anti counter move for their own.
@@no-bodymr6419 HH only has hyper armor though, not a Full on counter so 13/14 weaps which is still ludicrous.

That fight took ages for me because I figured it'd have simular weaknesses and went in with a thunder weapon. Turns out, Lucents elemental weaknesses are literally opposite to regular Narga and thunder does basically nothing to it. I think it's probably one of the easier new monsters from this update but I ended up taking the longest and using the most potions against it.
