Just finished sunbreak last night and I think my wife thought I was done with the game but crazy skills like this will keep me playing all the way until wilds comes out. It's mind blowing seeing how well you can anticipate the attacks and adapt your positioning / where to aim. I'm definitely swapping from bow & dual blades to something more technical like this now
I feel like your videos are the only ones that have helped me start to make the move from competent to kind of good...The explanations of your thoughts have helped me to see just how damn often monsters will stand still for a moment or two and how proper positioning allows for you to capitalize on them.
Guard up depends on monster as some things aren't normally guardable and guard level itself differs between 3-8 usually (again based on monsters) i generally always run atleast 5 but some need more
The amount of guard you need is variable depending on monster and their attacks. If you want an in depth breakdown of how guard levels in MH Rise work, I'd recommend this google doc, specifically on page 18 is where it breaks down guard levels you'd want on a per monster basis: docs.google. com/document/d/1dRuq0n5u8vdkv7M4g_zsyyvSRqW4V48Sfx614U3CYM4/edit#heading=h.rm8r9g5mx3sb I added a space in case it gets filtered by youtube For counter morph, you want to pay attention to the GP (guard point) levels columns specifically, not Ready Stance.
Okay, so for Element Phials we don't care about sharpness since the explosions are doing most of the damage right? Does Attack Boost or Critical Eye have any effect on these kinds of builds? or are those skills better for Impact Phial Ch.Blades?
They're much better for impact, only skills that affect ele phials are elemental damage skills and phials in general can't crit so no affinity or crit element
I generally consider a good or bad run as to how many mistakes i made not necessarily the time aha, in that one i got hit a lot and missed 3 very easy counters
Just curious what should i do if i want to make different armor sets for different weapons that needs their own set of quiro upgrades? Im asking because i realised if i made a armor set for switch axe that shared the same piece of armor for Ls the aguments dont match up and i dont know how to fix this
ele if you want to switch / make more weapons depend on the mons, but impact/raw if you want to one set and go on with everything. but ele is always better for me
Fr. For me it's because of how you can aim way too far when SAEDing. SAEDs that I would hit in World would completely miss because I overshot it in Rise. And also why am I not allowed to sheathe savage axe

Great vid with in depth commentary through your thought process and hoe you breakdown the fight into patterns. Keep it up! Liked and subbed
Cheers boss, hope you enjoy your stay
Nice video as always! I was wondering if making a video like this for every weapon would be possible, or if this is a one time.
awesome video bro. Can you make a top five hunts to learn swaxe?
Love fighting the crabs with Thunder CB. Those juicy hitzones 🤤
Certainly are some juicy hitzones on them
How many levels of guard do you recommend for learning countermorph? Do you also run a level of guard up? Great video.
guard 3 could be enough, but guard 5 is better. embolden if you're solo and guard up to make it more comfortable

Amazing as always. Love the way you play cb
Omg this is a perfect video series

you know I feel like I'm doing way, waaaay less damage than everyone else whenever I play this game, and I have pretty good sets too
weapon augments go a very long way if you dont have them
what build? you were dealing thousands with saeds on nargacuga!
Charge Blade does so much damage!
Just a lil bit
Him: “bad run for me, took 6 mins to beat a risen elder dragon”
Me: ……Risen elder dragon takes 6 mins to beat me
I generally consider a good or bad run as to how many mistakes i made not necessarily the time aha, in that one i got hit a lot and missed 3 very easy counters
@@Pyrac I think you did great, I’m lucky enough if I don’t cart 2…..back to back 🤣🤣 love the hunt dude keep up the good work and rest well
What are the builds? I am not doing anywhere near the damage you’re outputting lol. 1000 per phial tick is crazy.
Other charge blade videos have the builds

make another one :)
Multiple armour sets is the best option generally, as there are some augments you don't want to lose
Thank you thank you
build pls ? ( raw/element build )
ele if you want to switch / make more weapons depend on the mons, but impact/raw if you want to one set and go on with everything. but ele is always better for me
My other charge blade videos generally have the builds and saed is definetely supposed to be elemental in this game
U r a computer
God, I hate Rise and Sunbreak's version of the Charge Blade so damn much it's not even funny
