"That One-Eared Yian Garuga" is actually technically a subspecies first introduced in MHFU. There's a quest series that ends with you hunting 5 of each Blue and Red Kut Kus, Hunting 10 Yian Garuga, beating a special powered up quest version of it, and then getting a G Village quest called "The One-Eared Wolf" and has a unique modeled, special, higher HP, single use texture for this specific Garuga that only has one ear and one torn up ear. To start I want to say thank you, and Nylusion, and anyone else who has for the work on preserving info on MHO. MHF has gained a lot of light thanks to many factors and it makes me happy because that had so many fantastic ideas but Online always felt so bare with info that it was hard to figure out how many things were in the game but fuck, Online had some incredible ideas and monsters that it genuinely hurts so bad that we may never see these monsters again, especially considering Estrellian has easily through this video and then through my own personal research, has become one of if not my all time favorite flagship that monster hunter has ever had, this is one of my favorite monster hunter vids from the community and thank you for the work in getting it out there. 24:41 Oh, it’s this one! Probably one of my favourite Online monsters. Extremely sleek design with strong resemblance to something aquatic/lobster-like, but also a brute wyvern. Really unique look + really cool take on Brute Wyverns with large front paws (what we haven’t have besides just Brachydios)
Some of what of the monsters remind me of: Slicemargl - Nergigante(Spikes)/Lunagaron(Wolf-like) Estrellian - Malzeno (Butterflies and preference of using tail)
Baelidae is quite literally a species of animal that is called the Crab Spider. They also do have mimicry of large animals similar to the fantastical version we see in MHO. I think he would probably be the common ancestor between the Crabs of Monster Hunter and the Neopteran (I forget what their scientific names are) in the mainline games. That or he is one of them imitating the other.
I like this dudes voice and how his opinions on the monsters are very normal instead of "has too many spikes" or "looks stupid". I had fun watching and learned way more about online than i was expecting to
Worth noting that in 2022 it was announced that TiMi studios would be working on a mobile Monster Hunter game, and TiMi owns Tencent. So I wouldn’t entirely rule these monsters out of at least appearing in a spin-off again, if not main series
Although I'm not the biggest fan of Flame Blangonga, I find it interesting how it probably inspired Gaismagorm. The animations of him coating his arms and shoving them in the ground to send some rocks flying seem almost completely the same as Gaismagorm's similar ones
Incredible showcase of Monster Hunter Online! I was looking forward to this one. Funny thing, I found a trailer for a graphical overhaul for Monster Hunter Online a day or two ago, not surprised people mention how good this game looked, not sure if it was environments and lighting only or if monsters were included, shame we never got to experienced what the game had to offered. "Monster Hunter Online (CN) - Graphics upgrade trailer" was the video title, found it while I was looking for the trailer for both sides of an old PSO2xMonsterHunter Frontier crossover lol.
@@cr-volcanic Agreed, that graphic update trailer really shows that Tencent was putting in a good effort to make Monster Hunter look as good as it could get at the time. I usually enjoy seeing or getting to experience an old MMO when they eventually get an overhaul. The jungle environment looked stunning after the update and other improvements like how even some simple icicles in the cold environments being completely remodelled and changed made for a much nicer look. Speaking of MMO and graphic updates, now I'm curious if FFXIV's Rathalos fight will get the graphical treatment with their update😅
Honestly think you undermined Koyaku a bit. Personally I think they look amazing, their moveset looks fun too. The whole fish tail look does biologically make sense as fish are built to be aerodynamic for swimming in water. Koyaku is basically swimming in the air with his steam propulsion. As a bio major I approve. Also gives me seltas queen vibes
Great video, you may not have big numbers of subscribers and viewers compared to other MH related channels but you got talent and great passion for your projects. Your video showed me lots of Monsters that i never would have though i wanted to see and fight, Thank you for your hard work and I hope you can reach the new goals you have set for yourself :)
The idea of Conflagration Rathian being able to set her tail on fire and having stronger fire attacks actually makes sense if this subspecies produces an acidic toxic rather than a simple poison. There are many acids that are extremely volatile when exposed to heat.
Great work man! I found it difficult to find a lot of info on MHO but this and your Frontier stuff is top notch and helped me learn more. I assumed you had way more subs! You deserve it.
The subs will come with time. And yeah dude, this game was tough to research, thank God for the Nylusion guy who provided all this gameplay, he commentated over everything and having that source helped a ton
I was looking at all of the monster hunter online monsters on the wiki when I first got into world about a year ago. There’s tons of monsters I would love to see on the main line series games, especially the elder dragons
Tartaronis is so ridiculous I can’t help but want it. Also Onimusha is almost really cool, so close. Another banger video. Super excited to see what comes next. I’m along for the ride.
Yeah it's weird that there's two new Shoguns and they both do like, three cool new things, and it makes both of them separate a little lame. Probably should have just made one new Shogun.
I honestly like these Monsters a lot better than frontier's (even though I was sold over many of them after your detailed explanations), especially design-wise. It would be a real shame if they don't see the light again, preferably in a mainline, global monster hunter game.
I think that for Merphistophelin instead of giving him no wing membrane they could’ve just given him a more transparent wing membrane, so we could still keep the skeletal look and not look as weird
I was surprised to hear after the video, that you are doing this only for a year now, also in terms of the quality you are already putting out. There really is a lot of good stuff going on in the video. Keep it up. I'll be curious where this channel is headed.
Man I miss playing MHonline, I remember spending forever trying to figure out how to play it since it was a chinese game. Then being amazed once I finally got into the game even though I was unable to understand anything. Though I was able to make it through a bit due to my prior MH experience. I miss Estrellian he is such a cool looking monster I wish we got something like him back. Especially the cuts and scaring from weapon attacks on the monsters, its such a small tiny little detail but always made it feel so much more real seeing my attacks actually leaving a mark with every hit.
Saw this video in my recommendations and went "dude fuck YES" before I'd even watched it. I loved your Frontier videos and I know I'm gonna love this one, especially when knowing next to nothing about Online.
This was a blast, hearing your thoughts on Arbiter was what I was really looking forward to.^^ Hope 2024 treats you well and can’t wait to see what's coming next.💖
I usually dont enjoy super long videos, but your way or editing and talking kept me interested for literally every second. Possibly the fastest 2 hours of my life.
Absolutely adore both Lightenna, and I think it'd be really nice to expand on the neopteron monster class tbh. All the dinosaur/draconic designs are great, but the more bug inspired ones really offer some variety! On another note, it's so unlikely, but fingers crossed for Estrellian (all/any of them). Them being a "???" monster has so much potential- could even focus a story around them. Sort of like Gore Magala! Not to mention their design being absolutely beautiful to begin with. Totally agree though that if Estrellian were brought back, hopefully they either take the best parts from all three or maybe combine them into a tougher one all around!
Know what? With how it looks that we can change more easily between weapons in wilds, a version of merphistophelin that absorbs your current element to change defenses would be cool, having to carry 2 opposing elements on you to get 100% uptime on elemental damage, just make it weak enough to it so it is more of a bonus and not a chore you have to get through for normal dps.
You have a tendency of taking monsters I really disliked or thought didn't fit MH and make me fall in love with them, I can't believe all it took for me to be an avid Estrellian fan was to learn that she was basically a magical girl but monster That's such a cool concept and I can't get over it, she literally transforms midfight too due to her "star butterflies", that's so darn cool!
As much as I love SuperRAD's retrospectives, I absolutely adore this deep dive on the monsters themselves. 12/10 video you've made here. I'm disappointed in my algorithm for not giving me the frontier videos but I will check them out. I look forward to checking the rest of your videos as well and wish you great luck with your second year goal. Can't wait to see what you put out going forward. Happy hunting, from a new fan.
I surely hope that Estrellian would make it to a mainline game and with its adult form in mind.. Even though tencent owns the rights to the monster. Very cool monster
The first monster reminds me a lot of Volvidon, and other small Fanged Beast monsters from the fourth gen, which don't seem to be as prominent in fifth gen, although the rotten vale Fanged Wyverns make for some excellent fights. We might see some more of these monsters in the new mainline monster hunter game, as it think those fights are pretty cool as well, and can be pretty challenging in their own right if done correctly, as Ludroth was an excellent example of a smaller Piscine Wyvern, with some characteristics similar to later Fanged Wyverns like Zinogre.
The bears are third gen and they're all in Rise/Sunbreak along with new family member Goss Harag. Fifth gen is not just World no matter how much worldsperms wish it was. And Ludroth is a leviathan.
fun fact! Onimusha's weapons were generally considered meta raw weapons at the rank you meet him. I never really liked fighting him much though, unless with Sword and Shield's weird backwards flip I-frame attack haha. Also, everything new you saw with Conflagration Rathian is pretty much JUST Conflagration. they were kinda insane. also, Conflagration's lore was that it was a Rathian with a hormone imbalance so it grew Rathalos-like red scales. so.. Intersex rath is interesting!!
I genuinely lament the sheer fact we truly may never see monsters like Lightenna, Merphistophelin, and Baelidae due to copyright of all things, imagine the potential that’s been no likely squandered due to the unfortunate circumstances of Online getting shut down. As much as I’d love be wrong, it still seems unlikely. At least this will keep them immortalized rather than forgotten, for what that solace is worth. Online really is a total enigma that I think if I spent more time with, would’ve enjoyed a lot more than just having a more subtle acknowledgment and a deeper understanding, so this helps me know that it was interesting for what it was, and deserves to be respected. Preserving every faucet of Monster Hunter’s history is something we all should strive to do, and pray that Wilds gives us both many new fantastic monsters, and remnants of those who have been left behind. This is a fantastic video Volcanic, I can tell you put a lot of heart and soul into it just as the Frontier series was. I hope this takes off as well.
@@athos9293Yes and no, yes in the form of them being made relatively the same thanks to using those monsters as a base to which they’re technically revived for the modern series, but no in the sense of that idea feeling as though it’d just replace them rather than try to make them be recreated how they are at present. But you are right in saying it could be the next best option if no other choice presents itself viable.
I always wanted to play the Games that came out in Europe, and its kinda sad that ill never have the Chance again to play that Game with others ^^ But its always in my Memories when i think about the Good old Days where i played Mh the whole day, was searching for things i couldnt find on the internet and watched videos from Frontier, Online, P3rd and unite. Im Happy that so much video Content of it exists :D
One thing I do like is their attempt to make the more 2nd gen or 1gen monster look better and more interesting while also not making them look rediculos, especially with congalala and blangonga i would love to see these sub-species in an actual main-line game with their base forms because both monkeys haven’t seen any action in 5gen hope they come back in wilds.
Great video. I’m a fan of the Online and the roster ,there’s some missing variants but it’s hard to find footage and you gotta go the extra mile to find the channels will the crazy gameplay but it’s worth it. Small theory I think Estrellian is base on the Zodiac Dragon and the Star Butterflies are the constellation.
Yeah I saw that brought up in the premiere, it sounds like there was a couple April Fools variants that just flew under the radar. Weird that the wiki only caught the Elemental Bulldrome.
Mephistofelum prolly will need to absorb from the environment for his elemental attacks cos if it's in the player weapons, that just mean raw non-elemental is king again. Unless specific materials depend on Mephistofelum to be in that elemental state, otherwise there's no incentive to bring an elemental weapon at all.
@@cr-volcanicUkanlos wasn't in frontier either. Frontier started from Dos and added some Freedom 2 stuff and Ukanlos was Freedom Unite. That's also why Nargacuga is an exotic and not a native like Tigrex. Online took primarily Frontier as inspiration, which is probably why Ukanlos isn't included. Don't think anything from Unite and beyond was in it too.
Tartatonis really feels like a flying battleship and that's absolutely fantastic, I wish there was a better way to fight him while he's flying, maybe wirebugs would make the fight better, but I really want there to be a way to board his back and knock him out of the sky with a grappled strike. He's a battleship, why shouldn't we board him like one? also I'd like to see him use his wind abilities to propel himself forward on the ground so he's not just a fish out of water flapping around in the sand.
Hey! Not so long ago no one would’ve believed what we would ever get a MHFrontier monsters in main series, but here we are! So I’d say you never should lose hope. Besides, I don’t think it is that hard for Capcom to just buy rights for those monsters back, since I don’t really think what Tencent really needs them without MH game to bring them in🤷
Tartaronis NEEDS a special mounting mechanic where you can get on it's back while it's flying and you need to send it crashing back down. Add that to the fight and it's an instant GOAT.
@@cr-volcanic It's as you said in the video, big monsters can be a little tedious in regards to their fight mechanics, so i always feel like adding raw spectacle to the fight is often the easiest and best fix. And what could be more spectacular than a giant flying sea turtle crashing down to earth and causing a massive dust storm to rise from the sheer impact? (Man that Wilds trailer really got me into sand lol)
Thank you for covering up MHO. ! MHO will be in my heart, in that time when the only PC platform MH are Frontier or just a bunch of emulators, MHO stand out and become a "proper" PC platform MH before MHW come ; KBM Support, item slot MMO style, LV and HR , trading markets for materials, 1 big city for all players hangout (ofcourse the villages too), more than 4 players for siege quest, boat quest for plesioth, etc. Me and some of my friends that time enjoying this game and we still hope, in near future, with Timi Studios collaboration again with Capcom to make MH game, we believe that some of MHO asset will be used and we will see some familiar monsters back from the dead! ofcourse if capcom can bring tencent original monsters to mainlinie that is my hopes too. once again, thank you CR-Volcanic for this video, MHO deserve to remembered by All of MH Fans, and MHO is part of Monster Hunter Franchise too. --Buddy16
Honestly much like with frontier’s monsters( even the over the top monsters), I want to experience all these monsters as well, so I hope that they decide to buy the rights for them one day.
I was watching the koyaku charge attack animation and noticed him using his arms to stab into the ground and stop himself. I think it would be sick for him to use his arms to pivot and do a swinging kick or something like that would throw you off, like you think you're safe from behind and then he wheels around to sack you away. Kinda like the singing attack of gonngenn hermitaur but with a bit of fake-out thrown into it.
Lots of memories. I'm happy to see I've hunted most of the original monsters of MHO before it disapeared... I was pretty casual on the game and only played a while ago so I had no idea on how much I missed. Still I have fond memories of it, even if I played alone, even if I had an hard time knowing what I was doing and what I had to do, it had the spirit of MH and looked beautifull, especially the maps, I remember stopping and looking at the environement quite a lot.
Aww, I like the cartoony aspects of Murphy! Fatalis has the silly tongue thing, Merphistophelin gets the little eyes and the beak, it's like an affectionate but extremely mischievous crow got resurrected with zero regrets and is now just psyched to freak people out and eat as many chips as possible.
I guess what I was going to for was, I kinda expect Black Dragon and Black Dragon equivalents to be fully cool, and seeing one a little goofier threw me off a touch. As its own thing I don’t think it looks bad
@@cr-volcanicthere's plenty of goofiness and strangeness in Calamity Class Elder Dragons. The previously stated Fatalis tongue, Alatreon wiggling its ears, Narwa's weird mouth and Zorah's knobby wings to name a few.
Haft to say online has a really good menagerie of original creations that do a lot of what I want monsters to do in the series, the only dud for me in disaster wyvern which feels like the idea of a carapaceon got told and forced to be a brute wyvern wether he likes it or not and he kinda suffers for it, The monster variants on the other hand are much more of a mixed bag some being great like the Gonngenn Hermitar and estrellians 2 subspecies and some being very meh like ice charmine and others like flame Tigrex, one eared Yain garuga and sword master shogun being completely derivative of variations that already exists with the main series like molten Tigrex, scared/dead eye/rust razor Regardless tho online had a very fascinating set of monsters and I hope the original creations at least get a chance in the main series one day
Bro the variety of monster is insane, this is my biggest gripe with MHW (aside from the barely functional UI). Really hope the Wilds will have similar variety of monster like this and Rise.

@@cr-volcanic Most of the renders from spin-offs are really denigrating to the original monsters.
Some of what of the monsters remind me of:
Slicemargl - Nergigante(Spikes)/Lunagaron(Wolf-like)
Estrellian - Malzeno (Butterflies and preference of using tail)
Baelidae is quite literally a species of animal that is called the Crab Spider. They also do have mimicry of large animals similar to the fantastical version we see in MHO. I think he would probably be the common ancestor between the Crabs of Monster Hunter and the Neopteran (I forget what their scientific names are) in the mainline games. That or he is one of them imitating the other.
Yeah I saw a few spiders with somewhat similar appearances to the Baelidae but forgot to bring em up in the script. They're pretty cool lookin
I feel like Estrellian can fit in Wilds, the whole desert open world thing can work well, and I feel the environment fits the look of it.
Honestly most of these guys could fit pretty well.
I like this dudes voice and how his opinions on the monsters are very normal instead of "has too many spikes" or "looks stupid". I had fun watching and learned way more about online than i was expecting to
Dude I've just stumbled upon your channel randomly. Your talent for narration is insane, you have such a great pace in the way you talk.
Thank you! I appreciate the compliment
Worth noting that in 2022 it was announced that TiMi studios would be working on a mobile Monster Hunter game, and TiMi owns Tencent. So I wouldn’t entirely rule these monsters out of at least appearing in a spin-off again, if not main series
I heard about that. Even if it’s a pay to play piece of garbage I’d be happy to see these guys again lmao

Yeah it's a really good lookin game, not quite as polished as the 5th gen games but the lighting and models and color palette are excellent.
You know how the resurgence team made Abiorugu thickier in their mod for MHW? MH devs could do the same to Koyaku if they add it in future games
See issue is its Hydrodynamic not Aerodynamic, water is hella a lot thicker then air so the adaptations for it are very different then air
Something I find weird about the mh mmo spin-offs is how they have a ton of fish inspired designs but only one pescine among the 2 of them
My whole thing about the tail is that the texture didn't quite seem to match up with the main body
@@telson1583 One piscine? There's Volganos, Red Volganos, Goruganosu, Aruganosu, Zenith Plesioth, and i may be even missing one.
Estrillian is absolutely beautiful, and Koyaku can be the relative of Brachydios
I wouldn't be surprised if Slicemargle's spike mechanics went on to inspire Nergigante's
Yeah coulda been, I think there's a good chance both of em took inspiration from Frontier's Hyujikiki.
Hey man, we all start somewhere.
The idea of Conflagration Rathian being able to set her tail on fire and having stronger fire attacks actually makes sense if this subspecies produces an acidic toxic rather than a simple poison. There are many acids that are extremely volatile when exposed to heat.
Would make for a good explanation for sure.
Yeah, they're all pretty good
Tartaronis is so ridiculous I can’t help but want it.
Yeah, I could see that working
Last I knew that is the point. The membrane is transparent until one of the elemental states are active.
Just finished the video. I actually like a lot of these monsters and it'll be a shame if we never see them again.
I was surprised to hear after the video, that you are doing this only for a year now, also in terms of the quality you are already putting out. There really is a lot of good stuff going on in the video. Keep it up. I'll be curious where this channel is headed.
Appreciated, looking forward to to keep gettin better
Man I miss playing MHonline, I remember spending forever trying to figure out how to play it since it was a chinese game. Then being amazed once I finally got into the game even though I was unable to understand anything. Though I was able to make it through a bit due to my prior MH experience. I miss Estrellian he is such a cool looking monster I wish we got something like him back.
Especially the cuts and scaring from weapon attacks on the monsters, its such a small tiny little detail but always made it feel so much more real seeing my attacks actually leaving a mark with every hit.
The little cuts and scars were a super neat little design touch I noticed
Saw this video in my recommendations and went "dude fuck YES" before I'd even watched it. I loved your Frontier videos and I know I'm gonna love this one, especially when knowing next to nothing about Online.
Hope you enjoyed!
@@cr-volcanic boy did i ever! shoutout to my boy Merphistophelin
This was a blast, hearing your thoughts on Arbiter was what I was really looking forward to.^^
Hope 2024 treats you well and can’t wait to see what's coming next.💖
I was really glad Arbiter was so good, cuz I really wanted to adore the base Estrellian but the moveset was a tad lacking.
Love the video, man. Going to check out the rest of your channel, but 100% worth subbing to if this is the quality of content to expect :)
Thanks man! appreciated
You have a tendency of taking monsters I really disliked or thought didn't fit MH and make me fall in love with them, I can't believe all it took for me to be an avid Estrellian fan was to learn that she was basically a magical girl but monster
That's such a cool concept and I can't get over it, she literally transforms midfight too due to her "star butterflies", that's so darn cool!
Happy to have ya
never been excited for a video to drop until today, keep up the good work m8
I surely hope that Estrellian would make it to a mainline game and with its adult form in mind.. Even though tencent owns the rights to the monster. Very cool monster
I hope so too
I really love the narration style you use for these videos, really cool!
You had my like the moment I saw the beaver. 10/10.
Edit: Also, I love Koyaku. He gets a 10/10 from me.
They're all third Gen I think? Maybe Arzuros was a bit older but I literally fought Volvidon and Lagombi 3U this week
The bears are third gen and they're all in Rise/Sunbreak along with new family member Goss Harag.
Fifth gen is not just World no matter how much worldsperms wish it was.
And Ludroth is a leviathan.
Most people agree fifth is world and rise.. worldsperms? @@Stroggoii
I would love to play MHO as an American officially. As someone who is new to MH, A MMO IS WHAT I WANT
i think koyaku's design is amazing. it's like a pointy brachydios cross a bullet train lol
It definitely grew on me, especially seeing it in motion
He looks like a missile shark
Estrellian's little bugs are just less angry versions of the Qurio.
YES YOU FINALLY DID IT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VID
Estrellian is so cool, would love to see her in a mainline game. 20/10
Very sad indeed, I would do anything for Lightenna being in the mainline games
They could make monsters with the exact same mechanics, slightly different appearences, and give them new names, or not?
@@athos9293Yes and no, yes in the form of them being made relatively the same thanks to using those monsters as a base to which they’re technically revived for the modern series, but no in the sense of that idea feeling as though it’d just replace them rather than try to make them be recreated how they are at present. But you are right in saying it could be the next best option if no other choice presents itself viable.
Nice to see Gonngenn Hermitaur get a ten out of ten! Definitely need more crabs in Monster Hunter.
Saying the Disaster Wyvern looks strange in a world where Brachydios is mainline seems a little contradictory.
i loved your commentary and really appreciated how you gave a sample of the monsters theme to listen to. Amazing video
I'm with ya, I'd love to get the Congas and Blangos back in
Don't know how accurate this is, but I found some stuff suggesting that the MH Community assigned the name Cladomias to Koyaku.
I saw that in my research. Wasn’t official so I didn’t mention it. Maybe would have been worth bringing up
Great video.
I wish there was actuall footage of elemental bulldrome.
I found some Elemental Bulldrome gameplay he’s kinda wild. Do you want to know what channel it is?
@@nightbladex6929 tell us
Yoshiko0138
Mephistofelum prolly will need to absorb from the environment for his elemental attacks cos if it's in the player weapons, that just mean raw non-elemental is king again. Unless specific materials depend on Mephistofelum to be in that elemental state, otherwise there's no incentive to bring an elemental weapon at all.
Tepekki Shen Gaoren should've used an Ukanlos skull and been ice themed to function as more of an opposite to Guren being fire themed
That would have made a ton of sense. Oddly though, Unkanlos wasn't in Online
Estrellian is my absolute favourite monster in the entire series and I haven’t even been able to fight her before 😢
maybe someday, a fan project will try to resurrect the Online servers
Tartatonis really feels like a flying battleship and that's absolutely fantastic, I wish there was a better way to fight him while he's flying, maybe wirebugs would make the fight better, but I really want there to be a way to board his back and knock him out of the sky with a grappled strike. He's a battleship, why shouldn't we board him like one? also I'd like to see him use his wind abilities to propel himself forward on the ground so he's not just a fish out of water flapping around in the sand.
jokes on you i played them all and i miss MHO and MHFZ to death. actually gonna replay through MHFZ again
Hey! Not so long ago no one would’ve believed what we would ever get a MHFrontier monsters in main series, but here we are!
So I’d say you never should lose hope.
Besides, I don’t think it is that hard for Capcom to just buy rights for those monsters back, since I don’t really think what Tencent really needs them without MH game to bring them in🤷
Stranger things have absolutely happened
Tartaronis NEEDS a special mounting mechanic where you can get on it's back while it's flying and you need to send it crashing back down. Add that to the fight and it's an instant GOAT.
That’d be sick as fuck

Glad you liked it!
Imagine a mid air turf war between Tartaronis and Valstrax.....
This was the first HD MH before World, and man the English pack team really did a hell of a job. Shame its dead
I’ve watched this and the Frontier vids like three times, I gotta be honest 😅
I can’t wait for your vid for Explore, CR!
Man I would love to fight an Australian in a main title game
A ton of these monsters seem really neat and estrelian fits rise/sunbreaks aesthetics so well it’s a crime she wasn’t there
Funny how ruby basarios actually has crystals but crystal basarios doesn’t. Huhh
yeah dude, the Basarios variations are fucking weird lmao.
Oh for sure, I bet they could experiment a lot with how he moves if he were ever to be brought back.
The game looks gorgeous
"A Chinese-exclusive"
Oof
"Made by the company Tencent"
Double oof
Do you have a video that focuses on Explore's unique monsters? There aren't alot of them, but most of them are pretty good designs.
Not yet, that's being made probably late spring this year
Three rock solid elder dragons and a regular raptor
and now we have Outlanders, basically online 2.0
online 2.0 with money grabbing gacha
Heres hoping the mho revival project can make some headway soon, id love to try this game
Hope capcom looks into online & puts some of the monsters into future games.
Koyaku being called a "prehistoric trigonometry lesson" was a series of words I was not ready to hear😂😂
I can't freaking wait!!!
Awesome video!
Bro what there’s a Chinese MH game. It looks so cool, I wanna play it
I can't believe they made a fusion of Heracross and Vikavolt as a monster, and we'll probably never get to fight it... This is just messed up...
@@kingofflames738 fair enough, then perhaps maybe Mephistophelin is a bridge further than I would expect? Dunno.
Man you can really tell that the composers worked on world too, the themes are so dense and great!
im actually quite surprised how grounded these monsters are
Honestly when ya take a closer look at the non-mainline games, the monsters are way more grounded than I thought they’d be
Time for the set of monsters that probably are never making it over due to copyright (shame because of the monsters on display is really cool)
Haft to say online has a really good menagerie of original creations that do a lot of what I want monsters to do in the series, the only dud for me in disaster wyvern which feels like the idea of a carapaceon got told and forced to be a brute wyvern wether he likes it or not and he kinda suffers for it,
The monster variants on the other hand are much more of a mixed bag some being great like the Gonngenn Hermitar and estrellians 2 subspecies and some being very meh like ice charmine and others like flame Tigrex, one eared Yain garuga and sword master shogun being completely derivative of variations that already exists with the main series like molten Tigrex, scared/dead eye/rust razor
Regardless tho online had a very fascinating set of monsters and I hope the original creations at least get a chance in the main series one day
Bro the variety of monster is insane, this is my biggest gripe with MHW (aside from the barely functional UI). Really hope the Wilds will have similar variety of monster like this and Rise.
Not only is lightenna my favorite, it’s the only thing I think is unique enough to make the cut to another game haha
As a Canadian, im saddened we cant get Beaver-Monkey into mainline MH.
some of these monsters are interesting but I legit never want to see congalala back in a main game especially this vile version
Lmao. Aw man… I like Conga 😢
It looks like malzeno's design took queues from estrellian
Very possible
If anything we need the multy team raid back... Imagine if Safi/Kulve would have had actual 16 players in one hunt
I could honestly see that happening, that could be sick
