    Hello.
    I am a bay area native who frequents Peppermill/GSR to play craps. I wanted to let you know that your videos have helped me develop my own strategy and strengthen my understanding of the game. It is my hope to see you on one of my trips at the tables. Thank you for the content.
    Also... this strategy isn't it in my opinion.
    A better conservative bankroll strategy would be a 6/8 12 each. Press once on either number and collect to be in the black and free roll from there. (Regression to min to place other inside or just stay the same).

    It's tough to call this a conservative strategy when you need 5+ hits

    • @timmelton856

      Well you are only risking $20 - if you are new to the game this could be appealing. Sometimes when you are faced with the idea of placing $50 and up it is a turn off to newbies. I have seen brand new players only make one or two bets because they don't understand. I think the most popular kinds of bets at my casino would be the pass line and only one place bet. And hey - they are Happy with that. Kudos - Whatever allows them to have a fun time :) 🏄‍♂️🍻

    It is a new ante every Come Out roll. Doesn't matter if it is win, lose, or point set. It can get VERY expensive. The electronic tables are a bit better at 50 cents for the ante. The ante can really get you on things like Blackjack since it is 50 cents a hand. That works out to $40-$50 an hour to play.

    • @SameBet
      @SameBet 2 роки тому +1

      I was going to say the same thing.. about $40 an hour in ante fees. As a low roller, thats very hard to overcome. Fortunately, most of the tables north of OKC dont charge the ante anymore!

    Please remind me never to play at a casino that charges Ante as it seems to just be another way get take money from you, except that you never get it back.
    I would take the win from the first roll and place either the 6 or 8 as it gives you an extra 5 possibles to get this system started.

    Oklahoma Dice Dealer *
    I’m not the best at explaining things, but let me try.
    So I’m Oklahoma, it’s $1 ante every come out, I know some casinos do it a bit different then ours.
    But, let me explain our casino.
    On the come out roll. You’ll pay $1 dollar.
    If you have a $5 pass/don’t pass (Or in any workings bets such as Felid, hard ways/Prob)
    If you roll a craps number or frontline winner, all working bets must pay another $1 Ante.
    You will Continue to pay a Ante Every roll when the puck is off, until a point is Established. Then no more Antes till the puck is off.
    If you have place bets that are not working, then it’s just gonna be $1 one time. Any working bets will cost you a $1
    Sorry I couldn’t explain it better lol. If you have any questions or still confused, I can answer any question

    The ante is paid on every roll of the dice until a point is set. Natural winner or craps number, pay up. 4,5,6,8,9,10 just keep going. It can be a grind when you roll a bunch of sevens and craps numbers.

    I think covering the 6/8 after first hit on 5/9 would help, rather than waiting for 5/9 to hit twice.
    After all you’re ideally planning to reinvest that money anyway.

      As far as I know, no casinos in Nevada have the ante. I haven't been back in some time, but was born and raised in Northern Nevada and never saw the antes until I moved to Texas and went to the Oklahoma casinos. They have it on pretty much every table game, a real drag.

    I don’t get how a conservative strategy is predicated on hitting numbers that aren’t as likely and on bets with a higher advantage. Would be better to start with 6/8 instead and then spread the winnings to 5 and 9. Or just press 6 and 8. In my experience covering every number seldom works out. Just when you get everything covered here some big red.
    Also the C&E addition is just absurd.

    Yessir. They make you pay the Ante every come out roll. That said, despite the low place bets, the exposure to risk are just too long, especially when the Ante is eating you. When the average rolls tend to go 3 to 5, it's just a bit much to expect more than most rolls to go long to get ahead. I think the best answer is to bring a little more to the table and either go 44 inside with a couple of hits or possibly incorporate a hedge and /or field. If you're bringing less money than every roll has to pay something to get a bit ahead. Just my thoughts.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 роки тому

      It’s definitely hard to win this way I agree, but it accomplishes it’s goal of being super conservative. The average roll lasts 8.5 rolls so yea there are plenty that last only 3-5

    @Color Up ante is only collected each comeout when you have money in action, i.e. you wouldn't pay it unless there is an active bet. Wait until after the comeout when you place the 5 and 9 to place the ante.

    The ante thing is interesting. I remember playing at (I think it was) Sycuan casino in San Diego County circa 1998. There was an ante and you could also opt to bring your bank roll and play as the house, so the casino took the ante and the house player took the winnings or paid out the winnings. The casino was owned by First Nations people was my understanding so the ante went to them. My understanding.

    I use a system similar to this. I bet 5 and 9 collect once then move to 6 and 8 after depending what hits next. I like to push till I have 25 on a number hit once then drop to 10 on that number. Then I fully push as numbers hit trying to get to 100 each and collect.

  • @ZachJersey
    @ZachJersey 2 роки тому

    Man, the ante is gonna suck, glad they don't have that at my local casino.
    I think this has the beginnings of a strategy with some modifications. I get what they're doing with a small bankroll (or maybe you're down to your last 40 etc.), but the fatal flaw is you can't afford to waste rolls. I would take the first hit and immediately place the 6/8 for 12 and throw the other two on hardways. Second hit, place the other inside and use that remaining two on other hardways. Now you have a better spread of numbers and you're not wasting as many rolls.
    Anyways, keep up the good work Color Up.

    my bubble craps strategy is a grinder and it’s slow but it’s kind of cheap at $5 a shooter or i guess point can go higher if you want but i play $1 on pass line with max odds of $2 and if it’s 4,6,8,10 i bet $2 on hard way a swell for the point if 5 or 9 i bet them and wait if a 7 hits i double up it’s bound to pay off on doubling within 5 hopefully shoots if not all shooters are point then 7 shooters it really is great if it’s point then hard way point hit so it pays better

  • @Stephen-el4cz
    @Stephen-el4cz Рік тому

    I tried a modification of starting with $15/ea on the 5 & 9, so only $10 more per shooter. After two hits, you are in the hand (5 & 9 at $10 and 6 & 8 at $12) for only $2 instead of down $16.

    Different table game but Mystic Lake in Minnesota had a 25 cent required ante on every hand if you wanted to play a two dollar minimum blackjack table. For a beginner blackjack player just trying to get a feel for the game, I obviously didn’t care for it. My guess with that casino, was they needed someone to pay for their dealer at that low of a level so…….. plus at that time they had zero competition lol.

    If I recall you said you were going to show us how to win with the strategy either there's a part two or it was lacking the wind part I'm unsure as of the moment. Okay all jokes aside I usually find myself playing this strategy oddly enough I live in Texas and frequent the Windstar but I never knew the strategy had a name or that other people played it how funny anywho to be honest I typically start with a very small bank roll as I am a grandfather and have a very large family and not so much money to throw at the table and about half the time I walk away ahead, way ahead anywhere usually between 10 and 15x profit but then on the times that I don't win it's so much fun I can't help but to keep losing however the smart me would say to myself if I'm not winning to leave the table or try another method etc but I just wanted to chime in and say that this method is really good when it's working I use it quite a lot thanks for your videos and hope to see more. The antique thing is real and it really sucks it's something to do with the Indian reservations having to pay the fee for running the tables it's basically the Indians paying off the state to allow them to use or have the crabs tables or any other tables that have an anti :/ /end. 🍀🎲 GL at the tables 💎🦍
