  • This high action low risk craps strategy uses the don't pass with lay odds and come bets with odds to get plenty of craps action without a lot of risk. I consider it a hybrid strategy vs a hedging strategy but will it win? I first saw this video here: • Craps betting strategy...

    Excited to watch this strategy. It’s the reason I found your channel several years ago. Searching for someone else that tested it. I believe he called it a pyramid or something originally. The point sevens are brutal if they keep happening, but for the most part it keeps you treading water until you get a good number on your dark bet while the other numbers are hitting.

    I have never heard of this strategy a day in my life, but I like it. The strategy doesn’t carry as big of a risk as my strategy so I’m inclined to give it a try one of these days. It basically works out very well if you have a long roll while never hitting a point.

      And also it's great for those super short rolls when a number gets established and then wiped out immediately by red or 11 winning on the coming out. Lots of 2s and 3s help too on the new shooter, I really like this one. I hedge it a bit further with a small 1 on all the hard ways, and I parlay it with regression if it hits and leave something up on it.

    Hey Color Up, Just found your channel last week, and I love the content. I"m usually a blackjack player but wanted to expand my luck to other table games and craps was the only game i've never tried, Watching your channel gave me a push to try it out. I'll be in Vegas at the end of April and give some of these strategies a try. Also taking the Craps/Dice class at Casino quest first, so hoping that helps. I did a search online for craps tables in vegas that are at $5/10/15/25 tables so I can have an idea where to go.

I did try one variation that seems to be working ok but I do not understand the odds anbd payouts well enough to really know if it is a good idea. Intead of waiting until I have two numbers with $30 odds each to put $60 lay on the don't pass, I put $30 after the the first number then another $30 after the second. Do you see any downside with that? Love you videos. I leaned a lot.

    I really like this system. Seems tricky with $15 or $25 tables. A lot of modifications needed for the odds bets. 3 units on a $15 table doesn't easily work for 5/9 or 6/8. Same problem with $25 table on 5/9. If I can get $10 tables, I definitely want to try this.

    As presented, the risk hitting the Don't point - especially with 2 or more Come bets out - is disproportionate to the gains from hitting the come bet numbers before the 7 appears.
    A more conservative approach - that still gives lots of action - is to make Come bets of 1/3 of the Don't. Every Come bet established gets 1x odds. After a 2nd Come bet is established, put 2x odds on the Don't. Let it play out, hopefully hitting lots of come #'s.....but far less exposure in the event of the dreaded Don't point hitting.

    Always appreciate the continent and the diversity of what you offer. Having played for years in the long run I can tell you Come bets are dumb bets. There is a very good reason that the casino makes the Come and the Field so large and enticing, that is where they want you to place your money. Craps is a hard enough game without placing bets that have to hit twice to get paid. If your object is to stay at the table and playing to “not lose as much”these kinds of strategies are OK. If however you’re “playing to win” you’re not going to beat the house playing this strategy.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 роки тому +2

      Having played for years then you also know you are not going to beat the house anyway you play

      I play 4 to 5 days a week and make a very good supplemental retirement living at it. It can be done. With the exception of the Covid year six figures each of the last four. Well I may not be Tony Leo, in Maryland I am known and respected. There are others here such as my friend Jeff who rival or exceed Tony. We play quietly we don’t have casino comp cards and we stay under the radar. As a matter fact this is the most exposure I’ve ever allowed myself. Only because I really enjoy your UA-cam channel.
      The secret is take the math away from the house as much as possible, don’t get greedy and stay disciplined. Someone once said pigs get fed but hogs get slaughtered. Please know that I enjoy and respect your channel this is just a friendly exchange. But yes it can be done. There are those of us who are living proof. The average person is too impulsive, doesn’t take the time to educate themselves about the game and is undisciplined. The casino counts on that.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 роки тому

      I mean no disrespect, but a simple log book of your play over years would prove everything. No one ever has or shows that. I would say most people “think” they are long term winners and are not. Again, you may very well be up profit over last couple years, but I challenge you…track accurate wins and losses, track expenses such as travel, meals etc. find the accurate numbers of your business. Appreciate you watching!

    • @eddieonthemoney2520
      @eddieonthemoney2520 2 роки тому

      I do have logs from back in the day. When I found my system I stop keeping them there was absolutely no need. As far as traveling expenses I live 35 minutes from three major casinos in Maryland they are no significant expenses. I go early make my goal and leave so meals, travel, rooms are not an issue. As I say the dealers know me the players know me as such I have no need to prove anything to anybody. Again no disrespect intended. It is a cash transaction that never sees my bank account. I allow myself four sets of 10 shooters at the end of that I go home with whatever profits I have. Seldom and I mean seldom do I leave without significant house monies. The reason being I play a very conservative strategy. I don’t turn on my bets on the come out and I don’t turn them on till after the first role. This way in the course of 10 shooters I avoid on average 2 to 4 outs. Since I am playing 140 across to start and pressing that saves me $500 to $800 per day that I don’t have to make up. After that I take two hits of $50 each and get out of the way. As Mel says go down the felt. I will later in the day gamble a little more and stay up for 3 to 4 hits sometimes.
      Many people regard this as very boring, not exciting, and it’s not. I am there to make money, that is my sole goal. You published a strategy months ago that showed by taking two hits and getting out of the way you make more money than if you stay in for that one big roll. I discovered that years ago. I hear what you’re saying about everybody makes claims. But the three of us who play regular together at Hollywood casino in Charlestown West Virginia, MGM national harbor in Maryland Live know each other and we are known. I did recently moved to Florida were the only craps are bubble crabs at hard rock Hollywood I’m told. I haven’t been there yet but I will soon be going. I enjoy your channel I enjoy your professionalism and I’m proud to be a member of the club. My results speak for themselves as I say I’m known in Maryland and have no need to prove anything to anybody. I just moved to Florida and paid cash for a condo and a new car. Enough said. No disrespect intended quite the opposite.
      What I do have at home and I will have to try and find since not everything is unpacked yet, our practice sheets where I use ricks bubble craps to practice against. The system is the same the probabilities are all the same and the results are the same. When and if I can find those I’ll share them with you. But quite honestly Jeremy the proof is in the pudding.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 роки тому

      You have to understand my skepticism. Ive gotten hundreds of claims sent to me saying they are all beating the casinos. And yet the casinos still are breaking profit records. And you are right, no need to prove anything to me or anyone else. If you are making money, that’s great. I have a question though, if we’ll known I. The area, why are you not backed off or trespassed? card counters even when not winning are told to leave, just because of potential damage they can do. You are know, and I know you say you take modest wins, but over time even that they would refuse you service. Casinos aren’t going to allow you and your couple friends to win consistently?

    Hey Jeremy, at 16:12 when you're come bet traveled to the 8, any reason why you can't move your odds from the 10 back over to the 8 since it's more probable.. in this case if would have you would have been paid another win when the 8 hit back to back. THEN it happened again. Would have been another win with odds Just curious.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 роки тому

      You can, and easy decision after you see the rolls, but while more ways to roll 8, it pays true, so if 10 rolls it pays more because less ways to roll. I just leave bets in situations like that because you just never know.

    Craps is a really fun game just not at $15 or $25.I could go to twin Rivers in Rhode Island if I wanted to die of secondhand smoke. That and the place is dated so it really looks terrible. That whole casino sucks. Foxwoods was ok but after they added the other two casinos it got so big that there really isn't a fun playing environment left .

    So just for the record (and I'm still a novice), if you bet the Don't Pass Line, you aren't going to be making many friends at the table. Is that true? Because I've kind of ignored all strategies that use it as to not piss off anyone haha. Maybe I can use this at the electronic craps stations :)

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 роки тому +1

      Well I’d say 90% of players avoid dont pass. Superstitious players think it’s a bet against them, it is not, you are both trying to beat casino. Many don’t understand this, so yes, typically hard to make friends that way.

      On a table that allows odds of 3x4x5x odds. The maximum but would be 6x your line bet. So if $10 don’t pass, you could lay odds of $60. If you want to lay more in odds you’d have to make a bigger dont pass bet. Or play at table with higher odds.

    Strategy seems good. But if nothing hits on those first 3-4 rolls, you're in for 180 with only a $40 hedge if a 7 rolls. That's almost half your starting bankroll. That's a ton of money...

      You have $180 on the table but if the seven hits you get $110 back ($10 don't bet returned, plus $60 odds bet returned plus $40 winnings). So, if no number repeats, you get worst case $70 loss if the point was 4 or 10; $60 loss on 5,9: and $50 loss if the point was 6,8.
      Far worse is getting your bets all on the felt then hitting the point followed by a come out 7. That would be $70 loss on making the point and a $60 loss on the come out seven. Total $130 loss and the same shooter still on his hot roll! Well, hot for everyone except you.

    • @bryantfuehrer2095
      @bryantfuehrer2095 2 роки тому

      @@aebalc I'm not sure your math is right. If you don't and a 4 rolls, and you follow the strategy and have 3 comes with odds and a 7 hits on your $10 don't, $60 odds, you're getting $40 back and losing everything else. So even with the "2.5" points, that's a $70 loss. Not sure why you think your odds get returned to you if the point is still on, but ok
