Low Roller Craps Strategy for $15 Table

  • Low Roller Craps Strategy for $15 Table is a strategy that I show that has some possibilities for even a low roller. My comfort level is at a $5 table, but during the current pandemic those are harder to find. Todays strategy gives us a chance. The strategy is limited to place bets on the 6 and 8 to start with, but if the dice roll just right, you have a chance to color up even as a low roller.

I love your videos because not only do you talk about the strategy but most of the video is actually showing it in “live play.” It really lets us understand how to play it, many other youtubers fail to do this. Thanks!!

Agreed, watching the game from afar is very overwhelming. Just dealing with a single aspect or strategy of the game and then watching the game play really helps give me a feel for the flow and when to make decisions.

One gambling rule of thumb is to never play with "scared money" which means if the minimum bet is too high and effects your decision making in anyway, you shouldn't be playing. By the way, all gambling should be played with disposable income only. Look at me finally giving good advice. I must be sober.

Used this system tonight at Encore Boston, they only have $15 and $25+ tables, I bought in for $380. 3.5 hours later I cashed out with $1180 (+$800). The only reason I left was they increased the table limit to $25. Even though I had the bankroll to play because of the winnings I refuse to play on a $25 especially when that table is full of the same people who had been playing for a while. That's one of the many things I love about The Mirage in Vegas, if they raise the table limit while you are playing you get grandfathered in at the previous limit until you cash out and walk away.

I would rather play on the 25 table. Most people playing on the higher tables know how to play unlike the lower limit tables 1st timers and people just learning. You might want to give it a try one day.I have cashed out some big chips on those tables.

Most places I play are 15 min most of the time. My bank roll is typically 500. But if I'm playing short say 250 or 300. I like this strategy w an added 15 to 25 Dont pass line bet. Dont work the come out on your 6/8. Take odds on your dont pass w outside points. And your dont pass now hedges a 7 out if you take the 6 n 8 after the point is established. If you hit your 6 or 8, split profit press once. If you hit again on your 6/8, pull it all down. And ride out your dont pass w or w/o odds. (I actually prefer a higher dont bet vs taking dont odds. As you get paid 1 to 1 on the straight dont line bet vs true odds.) On a low bankroll, of say, even 250. This can be a pretty effect strategy taking 25 on the dont w a 5 dollar any red hedge on the come out. And the $18, 6 n 8 after the point is established. There's a reason the house let's you pull a dont pass line bet after a point is established. Because you have the advantage!! And with a 5$ red hedge the come out you only have 5 at risk. Only number that can hurt you is an eleven on the come out, and thats only 2 combos. Pretty good way to make a small bankroll last. W a decent chance to take a profit.

Based on this session. By not playing the pass line and taking full odds you gave up more than your bank roll in winnings . You want to avoid the 7’s which means you want to throw numbers. With that you hit points . So bet them. It does cost more . It is gambling. Good strategy . I use it but I always bet the pass line . Risk is reward or a faster way to the pool!!

Great video, for some reason when watching your videos I always want to take down those place bets. You just never know. Being new, I just played the pass line and got lucky a few times. The guys next to me were hopping the 6/8 with a $20 bet that would pay $75? along with a $20 field bet, which was hitting a bunch of 2s & 12s for them. Couldn't quite figure it out. I just enjoyed getting to have a long roll and see some people happy. Have a great weekend!

I just stumbled across this channel tonight..and since I am bored I will put in my 2 cents/experience. I first played craps at 2 and 3 dollar table in Reno. HA!! I remember when 3 dollar tables came in and I would search for the 2 dollar tables (After eating seafood buffet at Peppermill casino). Anyway...here are some rules I would follow: Play pass and come with minimum bets and maximum odds. I know that is tough now a days with 15 dollar tables (thats likely why I haven't played craps in years). If I remember correctly...at a 3 dollar table I would have a 300 dollar bank roll. Less just wouldn't do. And I had a goal of winning 50% of my bankroll....after I was up 150 I would walk. The objective is waiting for the hot roll....and have a big enough bankroll to sustain you until you encounter it. Like your roll at about 17:00...you had a streak of about 10 numbers and only hit 1 or 2 eights. I haven't rolled in years mostly because for me, I would now need to bankroll 1500 to play at a 15 dollar table and I just do not feel comfortable jeopardizing 1500. I know I am starting to get long winded....and a while ago I was on a hot roll and in the middle of my "toss" a stick guy held up his stick in the path of my toss projection...and sort of he'd back and then threw a 7. I was sort of PO'd. And with these Corona restrictions most of the fun of rolling is mixing it up with the crowd....which you really can't do now. In summary my advice is..unless you have 10x table minimum just stay home (or bet on football games....you can with 10 dollars), unless you really don't care if you win or lose.

Thank you. I need to study this video. In another video by Color Up .... maybe titled "??Why You are Not Winning??", as well as content in videos by others. The fact is revealed that strategies have a betting threshold whereby playing at or below a certain bet level, you will unlikely see the 'walk away' profit level of $100-$200. You're always + / - $20. You are simply playing for the fun of the game. My study of this video will help me to determine what bet level gets me to that walk away point. Thank you!!! No matter what, I always tell people that Color Up is the best learning center to learn the Game of Craps.

Working or not working on the CO? That is the question. Two thoughts: 1) Why waste a roll? Get 'em workin'! 2) Everyone playing the PL wants a CO winner, and if this is the same shooter that just rolled a point after, say, 6+ rolls, then Big Red may be close, so keep your bets off. If you're a low roller, then I'd say stick to following the puck. Don't be upset about what you don't win on those CO rolls, but you'll surely be glad you don't lose.

I DEFIINITELY like this strategy for someone on a low budget for a $15 table, but again, I PREFER to collect FIRST and THEN press because there are TOO MANY BAD shooters out there who cannot even last PAST 3 rolls! I have a LOT of experience shooting in the REAL world and everyone pretty much is HORRIBLE at shooting, so that's why I have decided to collect money RIGHT away instead of pressing first. So, I would DEFINITELY try this strategy but with collecting FIRST then pressing and then regressing as you have demonstrated in this video.

me personally being a low roller too, I would put the bets off after a couple a wins (getting my stake back) to minimize losses. Not too exciting I admit but it would increase your play time, maybe if you felt it was a bad run of numbers? Perhaps if you double your initial investment you could leave the bets on to make a game of it.

    • @ColorUp

Both players are playing against the house not against each other. I think most pass line players don’t have a good understanding of the game that treat don’t players poorly. Pass edge is 1.41% for house, Don’t pass is 1.4% so almost identical. Play anyway you like!

@@miker6402 There definitely are some changes - only 6 players to a table, but it's actually kind of nice. You're not going to be shoulder to shoulder with anybody. They tend to make you use hand sanitizer when you arrive, but leave you alone afterwards. There is no valet, but you can drop off luggage at the valet area. There are monitors at the entrances - I took a peek at one and it was set to a thermal setting, but another one was not. The casino on a whole is not too busy.
At Foxwoods, every table has a mess of plastic screens on either side of you as well as in front of you. If you're a dice controller, you definitely won't be there - the plastic screens make throwing the dice incredibly awkward. Plus the screens make communicating to the dealers very difficult. They allow 8 to a table, and the table minimums are lower - $10-$15 depending on the day and time that you're there. It's also a madhouse. I couldn't believe how many people were there.
      Hope that helps!

@1:27, you hit an 8 for $21, you still have $14 of risk. When did 14+21 =36? :P

@@ColorUp My point is before the roll you have $36 in danger ($18 each). You win $21 and could pocket it and have $36-21 = $15 not $14 still at risk. PS. I love the strategy. Should I ever leave my bunker, I'll give it a try. :)
