At times, to me, Rodeo sounds like an industrial factory with metallic sounds but at other times the album sounds like a colorful forest in the spring time. 9.8/10 album
I want him to go back to this sound just once more i love it too much. I want him to progress and make new sounds but the whole feel of rodeo is something else
Rodeo has some of the best sonic foreshadowing I’ve ever heard. There are hints of songs coming up hidden in earlier tracks. It creates an effect that when you get to those later songs it’s nostalgic even if it’s the first time we’ve heard it. It’s a brilliant use of layering and beat swaps. I just heard Rodeo for the first time this week(I know, what the f have I been doing with myself?) and I’m so thankful kill life found it. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever heard, even though we can clearly hear the influences. Great music. In fact I’d even say “It’s lit!”
Music comes and goes but this for me, will never, ever, leave my playlist. There’s not a song on there that I can’t vibe with and they all are sooo much deeper than the surface. Trav is just different
Rodeo is work of god. Absolute legendary. Being obsessed with music and understanding the different perspectives of different artists and sounds, nothing comes close to Rodeo. This is truly, the best album ever.
On the same level as MBDTF. However TPAB is simply too damn poetic and artistic to be on the same level as the other two. Rodeo tells a story literally most of the time, however TPAB is incredibly figurative and just on another level
Rodeo was one of the first tastes we got of good atmospheric, psychedelic hip hop. That reverb on the vocals when the beat drops on pornography gets me every time. Great opener, fantastic album
I really enjoyed this video. I have felt this way about Rodeo for awhile and was hoping someone like yourself would give it some proper recognition. In my opinion its the only Trap Album that feels like an album. An album that I can listen to start to finish and the tracks seemingly flow into one another, with each track being so different and unique. Keep it up man!

I personaly prefer Finaly rich, ISSA album, sremmlife, DS2, Monster, purple reign ... And if Travis scott is trap then Asap rocky is trap and long live asap is also a better album but this is just my opinion
Joel Clark Lol but its exactly the same for Travis, and even for 21savage, future, Lil Durk, Lil baby, Chief keef .. Trap is not really a genre for me, it’s a type of beat because most people will tell you Lil durk make it out, travis scott rip pimp c, 21savage facetime or numb, future hardly or chief keef decline are Trap music but it’s really just the beat thats trap, most of them sing, with or without autotune, and it sound more like alternative R&B or cloud rap, sometimes they don’t even talk about dealing drug and gangbanging so it’s not real trap music. It’s the type of music you listen at 11pm with a big blunt or chilling with a girl its not a real trap banger like lil bibby how we move or lil chief dinero and la capone with the shits .. It’s just like Drake, Drake is a rapper but sometimes he make r&b or even trap music. Same for Future and travis they are trapper first but sometimes they make cloud or alternative R&B .
