"Changing lives...one sleeve at a time"
#Endobariatric #WeightLossSurgery #GastricSleeve
Yes love this I learn so much from listening to you
Still maintaining my weight at 45 months postoperative with a super low carb high fat lifestyle and intermittent fasting. Carbs are the devil! Lol
Intermittent fasting is awesome after regain. I’m six years out and it’s really helping me
@@Rahab81 how often do you fast?
I don’t know how to intermittent fast
I had no pre surgery counseling. I had no idea what to expect. By watching your videos I have learned so much, I just wish I’d found you prior to having my VSG. I did lose weight, initially. 5 months post op my surgeon retired and I had no further follow up care. After about two years I started to regain. I was able to eat more than 5 bites....and I did. I know it’s my fault that I’ve regained almost all I lost but am wondering if I would be a good candidate for re sleeving. I believe that if I were given another chance at this wonderful tool, along with proper counseling, I would be successful. What do you think?
Make sure you go to a center of excellence. The center I sent to has mandatory pre-op and post-op group sessions.
I had this problem as well and I think the same way you do. If I could get a second chance, I know I’d do so much better.
Yes, it’s my fault that I’ve regained. I wish I could do the re-sleeve now that I am working with a nutritionist.
👍🏻
Thanks for keeping it real! Do you do re sleeves?
Hello Jessica!
We don't perform re-sleeves
I don't feel like I ever had the Gastric Sleeve
Same lol
Why do you say that?
Why do you guys feel that way are you abel to eat like you did before or what makes you feel that way if you don't mind me asking
@@JayFavela I’m sure that I don’t eat AS much as I did prior to surgery but I can still eat pretty big amounts to have a sleeve. Right after surgery and that whole year after you feel this tightening in your stomach after you have a few bites of food and you’re completely satisfied. I’ve never had luck with anything losing weight but the sleeve helped me. I lost around 100 pounds. But now that I’m 7 years out, your stomach does stretch more over time and it’s not going to stay as small as what it was right after surgery. That’s the best way I can describe it. I don’t regret getting the surgery though at all. But a lot of people that had the sleeve around the same time I did are experiencing significant weight gain. If you have more than 100 to lose I would definitely look into bypass. Hope this helps!
I have sleeve 3 years ago I gain 30
Pound going 😞🙉working to lose
You can do it Eugenia! :)
I just called your office and they said you only do initial sleeve and not resleeve.
What is ReSleeve
Barbie
Another name for it is the Apollo overstretch procedure. They do it in huntsville alabama. Suppossed to be an outpatient procedure practically.
Je pense que c'est la correction de l'ancienne sleeve
