Recovery varies from person to person. I had a particularly difficult time and was unable to keep anything down for the first 7 days, literally not even water was on IV fluids. HOWEVER, I watched DR A's videos and realised I wasn't getting the right PPI's in the correct form which was causing me to produce and keep bringing up saliva! Once I got lansoprazole (oraldisperible version twice a day) and Gaviscon liquid sachets (I took these throughout the day (instant cooling in my tummy and relief) within 24-36 hrs I was able to drink water and not bring anything up. (Haven't vomited since)
The hospitals version of gaviscon was too thick so only caused more vomiting for me and didn't give any relief. There was some pain due to the continuous vomitting but it was manageable. Everything has improved since.
It did not hurt me at all. I recovered well thanks to my doctor. I was out and about the next day.

Honestly I got the Surgery in March I do not even feel like I had surgery I had to ask if I really had it done. And mine was done by The Doctor and Robot. I was up n moving around the same day like nothing happened. I’m thankful for my Doctor. And Dr. Alvarez As Well. He really put me at ease Before My Surgery. Thanks Dr. Alvarez God Bless.
I’m 3 days post op I’m in no pain at all and I went home the same day. I was given pain meds and haven’t taken one
