I can't believe your stuff doesn't have more views. I love your music. If you ever feel like doing something dark dark, I think there's a lot of people would love to see Collab between yourself and ICP.
I absolutely love this song !It's Cheerful with also a dark and sneaky not !🤩🤩🤩And the lyrics are so exciting. There is always a cunning Casanova....Personally I connect them with Barney Stinson from HIMYM !It's like is it written for him ...😂😂😂
aye figures , what i love a lot on TCID is the versatility in genres cause i ve seen u do western, tango(Danger on the dance floor), swing (Burn it down, Never gonna get away), zydeco (da gumbo song), sailor shanty ( ahem stuart the sailor) ska...up to some very latin influences on the horns etc on Blood Sweet and Tears, or Walking Taco and then this ;)
No, he was a con man. He would look for women to steal from and pretend that he was in love with them and get them to marry him. Then he would live off of whatever savings or money they had, and when he had spent all of her money he would leave her and travel to another town to find another woman he could swindle. It's inspired by a true story known as the Sweetheart Swindler.
@@thecogisdead Ohh, ok got it. That makes this song significantly less dark. It also makes that line about him being in a cell with all his exs make a lot more sense. Thank you.
"Now he's locked inside a room facing every ex!"
This made me laugh so hard.
*he wakes up, sees all of them* OH SHI- *they promptly start pummulling him*
5 exposed cassanovas disliked this song
Over a year of time and there still is only five dislikes, what a delight.

Yep, I’ve been taken for a ride a time or two by a cunning Casanova. Katie is my hero!
I'm convinced this takes place in Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, or Arkansas and you cannot convince me otherwise
Family reunions are a nightmare in the South
Hell yeah, catchy as ever. I love how you tell a story with each song.
You always manage to give your stories an unexpected (and here hilarious) conclusion :)
Love the song👍
The world needs more music like this band produces and this band is the best personally.
Just bought it off iTunes 👍

Wow why didn't I know such a cool song exists?
Cool... very "Tom Waits"- esque.
Kind of a Jack the Ripper theme going on there.
Definitely James Bond though.

Sugamoto Magasaki The influences on the vocals were a few different gravely singers, and Tom Waits was definitely one of them!

Am I the only one who imagines an orc from World of Warcraft singing this song?
Now I cant imagine anything but that!
I can see one from LOTR SoW singing this, or someone from Dishonored.
...To clarify, was this man a rapist, or am I misunderstanding this?
