Your right probably. It gets worse and worse. They moved 20gems from PKA to be basically unattainable if you don't have all boosters and even then you got to rush immediately and be a bit lucky(or at least not unlucky) with the drops. They also started not giving out free gems with the login boni but instead are giving us UTTERLY useless 4star character posters. (and a near useless legend poster maybe once per week). I am even tired of opening that garbage and having to clean my box every time so I actually went to have a full 300/300 mailbox. Ontop of that this game is so timeconsuming for nearly no enjoyment. Building teams is fun yes but what after that? You clear the PKA/TM/Kizuna/Blitz Battle once and then the fun is gone you just grind it out. I just tallied how much time I spent approximately on the current Kizuna just to get all tickets needed to open all the boxes which are needed for the evolution skulls and it ended up being 43 lvl 10 Clears + 45 Assists for a total of about 90clears. Now each clear takes me about 3minutes to do which tallies up 270 Minutes or 4.5 hours of grind. This doesn't take into account the time I needed to build teams for it. (I consider that part fun so its not a grind for me so I don't count it but at least add another hour here and thats probably generous) And kizuna honestly is one of the less time consuming modes to be honest compared to TM where you will (estimate) need about 6-8 hours of playtime just to clear the 10million points in the new world. And that is with at least 1 of the new boosted units. If you don't have any boosters? Guess what 12-16 hours of playtime you will need. If you want to rank highly this balloons heavily even with boosters you will have to spend 6-8hours per day just to get into the top 500. That is rediculous. Nothing of this is fun you do the same thing over and over, nothing changes! Now onto PKA even if you are auto-farming only the lvl 59 stages to get all the normal turtles you need for the quests you will need about 40-50minutes just to clear 5stamina worth of runs every day. The 30days time is worthless as only the first few days count for the highest rewards so you need to rush to 150 asap if you have the boosters and don't you dare losing any runs or you will not have a chance. They couldn't possibly have been nice enough to give us the full 30days of the event to finish the missions right? Just finishing all the daily quests will take about 15-20 minutes. So you need already an hour of each day just to clear daily quests + PKA not doing anything fun but just repeating the same missions over and over. If there is any event Coop/Kizuna/TM you need at least 1hour per day additionally for Kizuna or 2-4hours per day for Treasure map and Coop it depends on how well your teammates do and how much of the missions you want to clear but its alot as well if you are a completionist. Onto banners: They are churning out super sugo fests and half-anni sugos so often that even a paying player who spends a few hundred euros per year struggles to even remotely keep up with them even when skipping all "booster" sugo fests completely. They keep doing this Film Red structure where we get dripfeed 1Super Sugo per banner in multiple parts, so we would need 4500 gems just to guarantee the 3 new super-sugos. I think I am done with this game. I miss the time when all we had was Clashes and Training Forests and the Coliseum where you would try different colour teams and it did not matter at all if any unit was boosted or not. You just tried to utilise your Box as well as possible and manage to clear it once and be done with it and if you wanted you could try out some creative teambuilds with new characters you liked beyond that. Now its all about "which of my boosted units can I use?" completely restricting creativity and teambuilding. tl;dr: They are giving us less and less rewards, while expecting us to pull even more and get less characters on our banners as well plus expecting us to grind for hours on end even if we are spending money to get the boosters completely disrespecting the players time. All this while giving us 0 new content. No Arenas, GC, barely any new GVs, no new story islands, Clashes, Coliseum, Training forest, nothing. If their plan is to drive people away from the game, they definitely succeeded with it in my case...
Not sure what to think about "closing" the game. As most of the player, I feel the frustration with the decisions, the "new batch" exclusivly driven contents and the extreme grinding (among all) Anyway the next months, with the break of the anime, will be determinant. Looking forward to more Wano related characters 😂😂
how hard can it be to make a daily forrest to get 1 gem? 2 hrs of programing its just copy paste at this point. they be sitting there in the office playing shooters.
Oh hey! It's me in the vid! XD And it's cool to disagree. I'm just trying to look for a real reason why the game is going the way it is. Bandai started with small decisions to sink it but the whales kept whaling too hard. Other games might have succumb to the early tactics. NO other game besides Dokkan could survive what's going on now. The ONLY reason this game continues on is b/c we lack better options. And as far as the "sticking them in a room thing". I can totally see this being true. It is preferred to be allowed to resign instead of being fired. It's about saving face. Think of it this way, if you handed an employer a resume would you like it to say you were fired? Or that you left for other opportunities??? How would you prefer it to be framed?
@@protostar8 The star or the show XD And while I kinda disagree with the yoshi part everything else makes sense, unfortunately we can't know for sure 😅
@@reaper5118 Very true. We will probably never know the truth. If you want to know about Yoshi and Dokkan, look at "year 2" of Dokkan. It's been awhile but IIRC he tried to heavily monetize the game and that drove people off. But it's been a long time. I just remember literally giving up Dokkan back then after he took over. I came back to Dokkan about 3 years ago and it's WORLD'S better in a lot of ways.
@@reaper5118 I kind of believe him but they already were driving in that direction of milking the whales dry until they leave before Yoshi came on board. But I certainly believe that its possible that they got him in to do it harder.
i agree , Dokkan can survive easy 5 years more it got tons of work going into it and if you played for 8-9 years like me you will notice how fare they came from OG dokkan , the game is fun interactive and not annoying. OPTC was fun but they as you say decided to sink the game and stopped developping it , they keep dishing out legends and whales buying into it ... the game is just annoying to play for me ... I see dragon ball legends also not surviving much , since Pay to play PVP is more or less what legend is about , i prefer paying for steam dragon ball games over a mobile gacha.
@@dio1018 Bro, I'm a week 1 player. I've seen it all. lol The whales are the ONLY ones refusing to let this game die. The strategy the higher ups have implemented cannot be a long term strategy meant to grow the game. It's meant to get as much money from the whales as possible before an EoS announcement.
