So many people expect changes to happen when they get married. But I think the reason for marrying is because you're happy with how everything is, and you shouldn't expect these large changes to happen. My wife and I have been married for 7 years and together for 15, and we have been so happy with the way things have been.
Congratulations mate I know back in 2023 that Izzy was your girlfriend and now you wife.hope you share insightful aspects of how to build a Romantic relationship with a person who i enjoy ever moment with her ❤
I've been married for almost 11 years. The best piece of advice that I have to pass along is to always remember that it's never you vs. your spouse. It's you and your spouse - a united front - vs. the problem. Too many married people begin to see their partner as an adversary, as someone against whom they have to stack up "wins." That will drain the love and respect from your marriage. Instead, with mutual respect, compassion, and kindness, remember that you and your spouse are THE TEAM. It's you two vs. any problem or challenge you encounter - together.
I love what you share here ... Me and my wife always say "We Are Doing Life Together" ... With everything that comes to and at us, positive and negative.
Anyone else seeing the Instagram update that they’re having a baby! I’m so happy for Ali- it feels like an older brother progressing and maturing in life! ♥️ Wishing nothing but the best for these two!!
I intentionally opened UA-cam to watch any educational video on money or finance or something along that line, and the first video on my homepage was Ali Abdaal's " I Got Married and Moved to Hong Kong!". It wasn't what I was looking for, I don't need to know about anyone's relationship update. But there's something energetically right about clicking on it. And I'm so glad that I did. This is refreshing in its authenticity and honesty. It puts my anxiety on a leash. It speaks to me, and I hope more people get to watch this sharing. This feels human, and it feels like an encouraging hug. Thank you. Hoping for nothing less than a loving, courageous and kind marriage to you and Izzy. Cheers.
Married for 31 years strong! Two adult kids and living life. My advice is grow with each other and all your changes. Be a team. Whatever it is, have each others back. Maintain date night, have your own hobbies, and learn from each other. Keep things spicy in the bedroom, laugh a lot, let your kids see you as an individual and your interests. They will then grow to have there own hobbies and continue to grow.
You know ali, the only things I watch in your channel are this updates. I always find it very refletive. It males me think about my own life updates. Continue making it.
Oh my god no you are not!!!!! I watched you throughout my late teenage years but as I went to uni I didn't tune in to your channel as much. Today I came back to your channel cause I wanted to build a website and I remember u did content about that stuff, but I can't believe I'm finding out you're now married. Congratulations!!!!!!!! you were such a savior during my school years, I am soooo happy for you! I remember you struggling around covid but I can see you're doing alot better. As you should. Also, you are not getting boring! you are just getting secure and stable! Stop with these seeds of self-doubt language. You're amazing.
I’ve admired Izzy for a long time, she’s so calm, composed, and radiates positivity, not to mention how stunning she is. I figured out about this relationship a log time ago and my immediate reaction was, “wow, what a match!” They feel like twin flames, not because of how they look, but in spirit, I feel like their energy is so aligned. They radiate the same incredible vibes…..❤❤❤❤❤
yessssss yessssss yesssss to this, i was watching her youtube video earlier today and i felt so inspired just like the first time i listened to Ali’s time management podcast and videooo, they really radiate the same calming energy. obsessed 😍😍
23 years married. My go-to one-liner for marriage is "it's not always easy, but it's always worth it". Do things in common but have independent interests and hobbies. Always put each other first. Never, ever keep score. You do what you do for those you love because you love them, not because they love you. Lastly, buy flowers.
Been married 35 years. My one tip “work hard to OUTPLEASE your spouse”. Rub their feet with no expectation, make them coffee just because, buy flowers for her on a random day, etc, etc, etc
Such good advice! Also, never underestimate how good it feels to just give, without expectations. It feels so good to show your love in different ways (bonus points if you express your love in ways that match your partner's love language 😊)
@@bojack3827 Dont know what ROTFL means but not a door mat serving your partner - what you give you will get back and if you love someone you want to make their life better.
I've been married 7 years. The greatest lesson I've learned in marriage is that: you're on the same team in EVERYTHING. It's you and your spouse vs. everything else. When there's a problem, it's the two of you vs. the problem, and not each other. At the expense of sounding more woo, have you considered the Enneagram, Ali? Could be helpful language for self-development.
I appreciate these in depth life update videos, there is so much to learn from them. I personally connect so much with the the balance you mention on wanting more vs being chill and content. I struggle with the balance every couple of months, I go from feeling content to wondering what the purpose of it all is. I honestly don't think there is a solve for it, we will likely always have to deal with finding out own balance for the stage of life we're in. I agree with you keeping things with Izzy and your family private however it would be nice to feature each other every once in awhile. So not a reoccurring business-like adventure but maybe a yearly update like this that you two film together, I think there could be a lot of value in it.
3:03 My advice: Don't make matters about your relationship public. The pressure that comes with is phenomenal and can negatively affect the two of you going forward.
I think an element of it being public helps. The fact that Ali gave us a glimpse into his life no matter how small. I personally feel more connected to him on a human level, he is not just someone I watch online (like a robot) but more like a human too
Congratulations to you both! I watch both your channels. Ali for his productivity tips and Izzy for her learning Chinese tips. Wish you both a life time of happiness! 💛
Best to keep relationships private. Izzy is a special thoughtful kind woman. You definitely don't want to lose her. Couples who don't post about their SO's last longer.
I find your ‘rambling’ life update video to be extremely helpful. At first, I saw the length of the video (43 mins), I was quite hesitated to watch it. But I ended up watching the whole thing and have a lot of take away from it. Learning your internal struggle actually helps me too. Listening you ‘rambling’ also is great, cause it shows your thought processes, which is actually extremely helpful. Cause I also have a lot of internal conflicts. The world is always telling us to have more, to do this and do that. But what feels right and aligned with whom we are is more important. Getting paid doing what you love plus purposeful is priceless.
This was a huge growth in seeing you go from figuring out your emotions to being emotionally open and accepting a relationship. Wishing you both a happy married life! It's the best thing ever
This is crazy! Been following you since the study tips videos in Lockdown. All the best and may you continue to change the world and make it a better place! I got married 2 years ago and its the best decision I've made! My advice would be to keep talking about everything. Start your day with a kiss and end it with one. Just my 2 cents.
Beautiful to see you reconciling with this idea of more vs enough. What I have personally found is that when you align yourself with your purpose which is always some kind of action like “to learn” “to discover” “to nurture” it tells you what the correct direction to go is. It serves as your compass. Rather than feeling like you have to bounce back and forth it can feel like it’s all part of the same rhythm or flow.
Just a small piece of marriage advice: say “thank you” often and mean it - for small things and big things, say “thank you” to each other often. It’s another way of saying “I love you” often.
Love this advice! We do this in our marriage, and noticed it's not as common as one would think! People tend to change very quickly into "pass me that" and "give me this". I think this one is small, but has a big effect!
How wonderful! Congratulations Ali and Izzy. A quiet life is such joy; I love it and hope you guys enjoy all the happiness in the world. From a 40 something dr mum on maternity leave with my second baby sleeping on me, husband pottering downstairs and toddler asleep next door. Enjoy the small moments daily, they make up your life! 🥰
I've been here for quite some time, and it's truly incredible to witness and hear your 'wo wo' realizations now. A couple of years ago, neither of us would have taken this seriously-you wouldn’t have been talking about it, and I wouldn’t have seen it the same way. The growth is remarkable, and I absolutely love it. Thank you so much!
First time commenting, but Ali, you are such a breath of fresh air, in a world that peddles toxic productivity that leaves people feeling drained and feeling like they are good not enough... thank you for your commitment to constantly learning and evolving, and sharing all of that with us. tHANK YOUUU
Marriage truly allows you to grow into different versions of yourself (and your partner). There will be times where it's really hard, and there will be times of absolutely bliss. Being able to experience that with the same person is a special gift. Have a great time on this adventure you have together!
Completely resonate with what you spoke about in this video! I find myself flip-flopping and recalibrating my motivations and goals and my feelings can tend to drive me towards the "new shiny thing". This has often caused me to waste time and energy on things that have not served me or helped me get closer to the "greater goal". I think its pretty much the human condition (a universal experience) where we keep asking ourselves, "What do you REALLY want?". I really felt your struggle and determination and relief in this video. Appreciate you sharing your authenticity and lessons with us.
This video is so heart-warming. Following you for many years, Ali, so happy to see you doing well. This video screams PEACE at me. May it lasts and all aspects of your life continue blossoming :)
When my first marriage ended because my spouse died, I realized the importance of knowing each other's stuff- what your partner would want to do if given the option of palliative care or removal of life support, the passwords to various things, and how certain systems in the housework. It seems awful to think about, but it's important to have plans in case the worse happens. Also, remember the family you two have created is the center of your universe - and while in-laws are wonderful, the pair of you need to be first and foremost.
Ali, Congratulations. I had my 10th anniversary this year and couldn't be happier. Our most substantial agreement that has worked well for us is that we promised to not argue in front of anyone else. I wish you all the best. 🎇🎆
I’ve been married for a few years, almost 4 years in December and the one tip I tell anyone is COMMUNICATE with your other half. A lot of the time we (myself included) think that our partners know what we feel / what’s going on and expect them to be a certain way. But I’ve learnt, people can’t read minds, no matter how close they are to you. My husband cannot read my mind (as much as I’d like for him to😂) so communicating is a key part to any marriage / relationship!
Ohhh my, this is soo true and I think in general for men. My husband told me, men are not good and guessing games, so, they want to tell us in their face for them to get it. Hehehe. Though my husband has learned to read my mind over the 8 years of marriage, but still he prefers for me to tell him than him guessing. Communication is really one of the keys to a successful marriage. ❤❤❤
@@caballefam They don’t want to guess in case they get it wrong hahah 😂 but yeah it’s just easier to communicate things than play the guessing game, that’s for sure 🖤
Wow Ali! I remember you making videos about how you’d struggle to a partner. Tinder reviews and self reflections on love were topics I found interesting from you. Now, you’ve found yourself someone, and I’m so happy for you. A true example of what perseverance can do. Congratulations to you and your wife. May God bless your union!
I know this is weird but a get a severe sense of honor watching you grow up and come into your own. Seeing you address your feelings as feelings instead of facts is such a revolutionary evolutional step for you. It’s huge. Trusting your heart has opened so many doors to your personal development. Thank you for sharing this part of you. I’m just so freaking awed and inspired by this. It’s not woo, Ali, it’s the next step in your badass journey, lean in and enjoy!! 👏 👏 👏
Hi Ali, congrats! You helped us learned a lot and since you asked @ 6:57, I'm thrilled to give back hopefully, you'll find a little tip useful, as someone who's been married for 21 years... I think, eternal happiness in marriage may come from a husband and wife who choose gratitude daily, laugh at each other's jokes, appreciating each other’s presence, love, and small acts of kindness. 💕I think for me, "The 5 Love Languages" by Dr. Gary Chapman is a must-read for me, as it offered powerful insights on how to express and receive love in ways that truly connect and strengthen relationships. ❤Wishing you and Izzy happiness! ❤
I'm a full time youtuber and my wife and I have a 6 month old baby boy. A few pieces of advice I was given from older mentors were: 1. We made a decision to never mention divorce - whatever the issue we committed to working through it. 2. Kids will change everything, be open to change. 3. Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry God bless you both and thank you for this life update! I too have been loving the "boring" life.
I am having so many emotions for my brother got married. I am feeling similar like my elder brother have got married its such a great feeling have followed since posted those active recalling and spaced repetition technique and have seen your success. Such a great feeling that finally you got your life partner like family i was wondering too. All the very best brother. Stay sweet and cool.
you're being more ambitious over time. I've been following your videos since the very beginning. You need to love yourself again; you're losing balance because somehow you've forgotten what you used to tell us : love what we do, stay present, and take it one step at a time. It seems like you're stressed, but hey Ali, it's okay to feel stressed. You just need to be "you" again, not being affected /adjusted by anyone. that fun, cute, smartest guy on the planet!! and stop worrying about the worst yet to come. (sorry for my english)
Alhamdulillah! Congrats Dr. Ali. Honestly, it has been interesting to see how your life's journey is progressing. Keep helping the community and people around you.
This is by far my favourite style of video of yours! And I 100% feel that with the struggle and toggle between work and chill. I find myself having seasons of go go go and seasons of chilling and enjoying the fruits of my labour. Too much of one always creates discomfort
I haven't watched an Ali video in the last year and I come back for a banger life update. Congrats on to you and Izzy. Cheers to many years of adventures. My only piece of advice is never go to bed upset. Talk it out and be honest.
Congrats! My marriage tip comes from my family: Remember to prioritize your partner's romantic needs. It will become easy as your routine takes over and the days fly by. Especially with kids, it can be really challenging to remember to prioritize your partner's romantic needs. Yet romantic needs are just that-a need. And addressing that need in a spontaneous way can make all the difference between a healthy marriage and a not-so-healthy marriage. So, in my calendar, I have random times in the next few years that say something like "Do something romantic for (my wife). "
Congratualtions to you both! Nothing beats learning through experience! I've been married for 10 years this year and I must say nothing comes close to it in terms of fulfilment except knowing God of course! Talk well, argue well, love well, commit well and no hurdle will be too great to overcome. Be willing and ready to forgive and be ready and willing to ask for forgiveness. This is absolute key to deep and long lasting marriage. One of the biggest lessons I've began to learn and still learning is to listen, listen, listen! Often times I rush to "solve" whatever my wife's problems and issues but actually the answer more times than not is "Come here" and embrace her tight.
Need this a lot. Mimetic desire + 'should's' segments particularly resonated with me. Many shoulds based on what society or people around me try to do or project but it isn't necessarily what I need or want. Appreciate the candor!
From the moment lzzy made a video with you about your book, i said you had a lot in common and would make a nice couple, and I was shocked today when I saw the video with your picture on it. I thought it was photoshop, but you it's real. So, I'm really happy for you both. 😂❤💍 lzzy is pregnant 😍🌺❤ Congratulations to you both, I hope you live the most beautiful life together and support each other ❤
Hey y'all! I got married yesterday and I honestly didn't know how to feel. Then this video came up, I was reading all the comments, the tips and advices y'all gave and everything came in me. I felt the joy and fulfilment of being married. Having a partner to build my family and future with, what a blessing! I'm so excited for what's about to come.💗 I've also just begun watching Ali and I'm already hooked. All of his videos are just so helpful and I think I'll be subscribing him for life. Best wishes to you both!🙌🏽 *Would love to read more useful tips from the couples here. Thank you! God bless🕊
43:08 wow, a huge congratulations on your big life updates and I wish you every success. I can relate so much to your journey and your depth of self-love in you place of contempt with life yet as you discuss your desires they revealed your true heart feelings of growing internal land not externally which is very rewarding and you “should” be very proud to say that openly with honesty as your true desires allow you to grow as you best feel is right (and the financial growth will follow, I am sure for that)! Best wishes x
So happy two UA-camrs that I follow are actually married! 😊 Izzy is so well rounded as a person: beautiful, talented, nice (at least that's the impression I get from her videos) ... I always wondered who would be lucky enough to marry her. Now I know!
Congratulations🎉! Really have been looking for this update.Dr Izzy is such a lovely lady.Wishing a happy, long, sweet marriage. May God bless your union.
So happy for you both! Best advice, be the biggest champion for your spouse and never “vent” or complain about them to anyone else. If you have something to work out, work it out together. She needs to feel safety and trust with you and you with her. I made the mistake of venting about something to my mom early on and she kept bringing it up when I had gotten over it and it lessened her view of him. Not good! 30 years later and we have a great marriage and are still each others best advocate and champion.
Congratulations on your marriage. I’m so happy to see you a grow in business and personal life. I feel like watching a friend from studying to becoming a business man and a husband. Amazing journey Ali !!! All the best.
Congratulations! I agree the relationship will have the best chance of survival if it isn't online or monetized in some way. Wishing you both the best!
Ali, you’ve always been such a beautiful soul 🥹 Your videos warm my heart! I have to get ready for my day but I look forward to coming back and watching this video. Congratulations to you & Izzy! I wish you both a happy & healthy life together 🥰❤️
Oh my......this is the episode I've been waiting for! Congratulations to Dr.'s Izzy & Ali❣️🎉 This is awesome. I'm so happy for you both. Fyi, please remember to Listen to each other! Never assume anything. Ask when you're not sure. Always plan dates when schedules get busy❣️
My favorite and go-to UA-cam personality got married and moved to Hong Kong! THATS HUGE omg 🤩🥳 my heartiest prayers for both of you, keep doing what you both love doing!!!!
I actually prefer watching this style of video Ali - i.e. a bit of a rambly ‘thinking out loud’ / life update! I actually can feel the authenticity from it and therefore can connect with it & enjoy it more. The “humanness” of it all is is infinitely more curious & interesting and I think that there‘s always much intrinsic value in sharing & witnessing that (and thus gaining insight from) the raw human experience 👌 Also I’ve been watching you for years and it’s been really nice to see you getting more in touch & attuned with your feelings and emotional side over time!
Thanks for all you share & teach! Finding that life/end game balance is tough but made easier when you figure how much you need to be happy & comfortable & work backward from there. At least that’s what I did.
During my 20’s I studied hard, worked in Corporate and travel around quite a bit, finally I met my husband and everything went very smooth and quickly, and we married after 6 months of knowing each other actually (he was 41 & I was 36 at the time, so we already knew what we wanted). After 12 years of married I must say, being married is amazing, fun and having a “partner” to your side is great and humbling! Every stage of life have their own pros and cons but when BOTH are committed to the relationship it makes a big difference. Enjoy guys🙌🏼💪🏼🙏
I enjoy some of your content-certain topics resonate with me more than others. Interesting topics. I do notice though that some of your videos take a meta-perspective, discussing things without necessarily coming from the experience of doing them. As a bit of feedback, I wonder if focusing on certain leadership skills could be beneficial to you. For example, shifting from phrases like “people working for me” to a more inclusive “team we are building here” might foster stronger connections. Similarly, instead of saying “they will probably find other jobs as they worked for me,” something like “we are all growing, and hopefully, my team will find amazing opportunities if I decide to go grow olive trees in Greece” could reflect a more collaborative mindset. Have fun in HK, Ali, and to both of you for your marriage.
Best mariage advice that I was given was to "always assume good intentions from your spouse". It is easy to get caught up in your feelings and your interpretation of your spouse's behavior, action, words etc. But instead take a step back and remember, that this person loves you more than anyone in the world... So most likely, they don't think that you are stupid, ugly, irrelevant etc. or whatever negative emotion you may be feeling coming from them... Most likely they do not want you to be sad or hurt, most likely they care deeply about how you feel and they want you to be happy... So... Take their hand, and clarify it all, saying "I feel" and "when you said/did that, it made me feel that", and "I know you love me and you do not want me to be hurt so how can we make sense of what happened and clarify everyone's position"... In short: Start from a place of assuming good intentions and deep care from your spouse, you will feel better right away and the conversation that ensue will be productive and hopefully solve the situation you are facing. Couples who last are the ones who fight well.
I adore @izzysealy and found her channel about a year ago, throigh that I then saw a video you two did together and thought how lovely thah was. And now, my goodness I'm so happy to hear you two are now married and making a beautiful life together. Two very positive forces in the universe.
Wow. What a video! Key things - keep making videos because YOU want to. You don't need to care if people care. There is always an audience who cares. - I have seen you grow so much. So happy for you on all your life updates - Honestly, enjoy the little things. Protect your family and privacy. It's YOURS to enjoy and cherish Wishing you the best for the future 🌟🌟🌟
I am so grateful that you are talking about feelings and emotions! And that it's important to rely on them when making decisions in our lives. I burned out on my previous job (Project manager in IT) and had a depression after that. All this was because I ignored the feeling that this job was not okay for me for many years. Now I'm a future psychotherapist, and it feels sooo good and sooo right! I hope that this video will help somebody to switch their life to something that feels good for them❤
Really enjoy listening to the advices that you have given in throughout your channel and I actually learnt a lot of things too! Also congrats on moving to HK a very well developed country. It's cool that people even consider moving to asia! I'm from Malaysia myself and sometimes I wonder what its like to live in the UK with all the development there.
Congratulations!!! MashAllah 🥰 Ali you got married with one of my favourite content creators. As far as I know she is just an amazing woman. This is called the perfect couple. Enjoy every moment of your life with Izzy. Good Luck.
@ Yes, Muslim man’s are permitted to marry a non-Muslim woman under certain conditions, according to Islamic teachings: 1. She must be from the People of the Book (Ahl al-Kitab): Islamic law allows Muslim men to marry Christian or Jewish women. This is based on Quranic guidance (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:5). However, she should practice her faith sincerely. 2. Marriage to a Polytheist or Atheist Woman: Marriage to women who are polytheists, idol worshippers, or atheists is generally not permitted in Islam unless they convert to Islam. 3. Preservation of Islamic Values: The marriage should not compromise your Islamic values, and the woman must respect your faith and the upbringing of children in Islam. 4. Conditions for a Healthy Marriage: The marriage should be based on mutual respect, love, and understanding, with both partners agreeing to uphold their religious rights and responsibilities.
Thank you Ali for this very honest and authentic video. Super nice how you share your thoughts and worries. It makes it easier for me to see that you also sometimes falter and feel insecure. I am not married. Consciously not, despite a long relationship. But we try to orient ourselves towards the idea that we consciously choose each other every day. Precisely because we don't belong together because of marriage, but because we can decide every day. Perhaps this is an important aspect of relationships and marriages, that we realize that we can still consciously choose each other every day. And not to see your partner as a given constant❤
Marital Advice: I've been married 24 years to the love of my life. I would say #1 is to be in relationship with God first and make Him the center of your marriage; #2 is show each other a lot of grace - don't have a lot of "hard lines" - be soft hearted toward each other; #3 don't ever let yourself get in the attitude that is aligned with rolling your eyes at your spouse or thinking of them in that way. They are precious! 💞 Best to you and Izzy!
Congraz on getting married!! My friend bumped into you two in a community centre in Hong Kong playing squash few days ago. You are always my fav productivity guru. Enjoy your new life in Hong Kong, hope you enjoy Hong Kong food and culture. Best wishes from a Hongkonger.
Attitude of gratitude becomes a baseline feeling then ego disappears and the present becomes the present. Great balance of the scales of fulfilment. Great listen - from the heart which is clearly your base value now and so cannot go much wrong hereon-in. Grow and share the journey and that is what you seem to be doing already. A portion of the growth must be voluntary; for me ; it fuels the soul...that is key.
Congrats on getting married! It was lovely running into you and your then fiancée when you were in Santa Monica. Practical Advice: Get a family email account to manage all your joint logins. Think logins for joint services, streaming platforms, bank accounts, etc. Absolute game changer for logistics. Second pro tip: Use a password manager to collect all joint details.
Seeing your face expressions every time you talked about scaling the business were quite amusing 🌝 They were really telling of how you truly felt - I’m certain you made the right decision 🎉

So many people expect changes to happen when they get married. But I think the reason for marrying is because you're happy with how everything is, and you shouldn't expect these large changes to happen. My wife and I have been married for 7 years and together for 15, and we have been so happy with the way things have been.

So true!
Well said
Really excellent advice :))🙏🙌
Great advice! ❤

They radiate the same incredible vibes…..❤❤❤❤❤
this was nice
yessssss yessssss yesssss to this, i was watching her youtube video earlier today and i felt so inspired just like the first time i listened to Ali’s time management podcast and videooo, they really radiate the same calming energy.
Love this
ROTFL. Door mat
Really good advice!
I think that depends on the two of you, I have had an opposite story to tell
I think an element of it being public helps. The fact that Ali gave us a glimpse into his life no matter how small. I personally feel more connected to him on a human level, he is not just someone I watch online (like a robot) but more like a human too
Congratulations to you both! I watch both your channels. Ali for his productivity tips and Izzy for her learning Chinese tips. Wish you both a life time of happiness! 💛
The comment section is enough to teach one about marriage and relationship. This is beautiful! 😍
Marriage will test you but man is it worth it. Love the maturity and growth from these shares.
It was good for you to share your wife's channel so that we can support her I have subscribed mashallah she so beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just a small piece of marriage advice: say “thank you” often and mean it - for small things and big things, say “thank you” to each other often. It’s another way of saying “I love you” often.
That's really good!
Love this advice! We do this in our marriage, and noticed it's not as common as one would think! People tend to change very quickly into "pass me that" and "give me this". I think this one is small, but has a big effect!
As someone who has been following you since the beginning, I am so happy for you. Congratulations, you deserve a beautiful life.
I can’t believe this! I just found two of the UA-camrs I’ve subscribed and watched a lot of videos got married! What are the odds!
Congratulations Ali. Happy for you and Izzy 🎉
Congratulations Ali Abdaal and Dr. Izzy’s , best wishes to you both !!!
Your life updates are my favorite videos. They are super introspective and I believe we get the most authentic version of you!
Awwn Ali got married 🥰😊 congratulations thanks for all your support and encouraging content over the years cheers to your new life ❤
Ali, Congratulations. I had my 10th anniversary this year and couldn't be happier. Our most substantial agreement that has worked well for us is that we promised to not argue in front of anyone else. I wish you all the best. 🎇🎆
I remember when he started vlogging being a medical student. Thanks for everything Ali!
That's awesome you stuck around, how long ago was that?
@ since 2018
I’ve been married for a few years, almost 4 years in December and the one tip I tell anyone is COMMUNICATE with your other half.
My two favorite people that has helped me out balancing medical school and being a new UA-camr getting married is just gorgeous 🥰
A few pieces of advice I was given from older mentors were:
1. We made a decision to never mention divorce - whatever the issue we committed to working through it.
2. Kids will change everything, be open to change.
3. Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry
God bless you both and thank you for this life update!
Congratulations‼May you two experience more love and joy than your heart & hands can hold‼❣❤
you're being more ambitious over time.
Invalid marriage bruh
It was a delight to get to know you and Izzy, and an honour to marry you ✨️ Do keep in touch from Hong Kong! Much love xx
Congratulations Ali, you deserve all the good things you get in life and you are a real inspiration.
lzzy is pregnant 😍🌺❤
Congratulations to you both, I hope you live the most beautiful life together and support each other ❤
So happy that you are in Hong Kong! Enjoy the city and the married life
Hey y'all! I got married yesterday and I honestly didn't know how to feel. Then this video came up, I was reading all the comments, the tips and advices y'all gave and everything came in me. I felt the joy and fulfilment of being married. Having a partner to build my family and future with, what a blessing! I'm so excited for what's about to come.💗
I've also just begun watching Ali and I'm already hooked. All of his videos are just so helpful and I think I'll be subscribing him for life. Best wishes to you both!🙌🏽
*Would love to read more useful tips from the couples here. Thank you! God bless🕊
congrats!!
Congratulations.
You’ll love HK. I’m glad HK will be showcased well on your channel to show the world.
Congratulations to you and your new wife. This is so beautiful and I wish you all the best the best ❤
So happy two UA-camrs that I follow are actually married! 😊 Izzy is so well rounded as a person: beautiful, talented, nice (at least that's the impression I get from her videos) ... I always wondered who would be lucky enough to marry her. Now I know!
omg! please hold some meetup @ HK. cant wait to meet you in person. you definitely have a huge fan base in hong kong
I second this
I third this!
I forth this😂😂
I fourth this!
I fifth this
Congratulations🎉!
Congratulations Ali for the new chapter of your life 🎊 🎉
Congratulations on your marriage.
@@AlisaValdes This!!! The amount of relationships I’ve seen end badly is so scary!
so true and evil eye is true
Ali, you’ve always been such a beautiful soul 🥹 Your videos warm my heart! I have to get ready for my day but I look forward to coming back and watching this video. Congratulations to you & Izzy! I wish you both a happy & healthy life together 🥰❤️
Congratulations on getting married!! Have been following you since last 2 years. You are an amazing human being. I absolutely love your videos.
Ali, this is your best video of 2024 imo, and that’s saying something because there’s been lots of amazing content over the last 12 months
The “humanness” of it all is is infinitely more curious & interesting and I think that there‘s always much intrinsic value in sharing & witnessing that (and thus gaining insight from) the raw human experience 👌
Also I’ve been watching you for years and it’s been really nice to see you getting more in touch & attuned with your feelings and emotional side over time!
Congratulations Ali. You spoke to my soul.
Key things
- keep making videos because YOU want to. You don't need to care if people care. There is always an audience who cares.
- I have seen you grow so much. So happy for you on all your life updates
- Honestly, enjoy the little things. Protect your family and privacy. It's YOURS to enjoy and cherish
Wishing you the best for the future 🌟🌟🌟
I am so grateful that you are talking about feelings and emotions! And that it's important to rely on them when making decisions in our lives. I burned out on my previous job (Project manager in IT) and had a depression after that. All this was because I ignored the feeling that this job was not okay for me for many years. Now I'm a future psychotherapist, and it feels sooo good and sooo right! I hope that this video will help somebody to switch their life to something that feels good for them❤
@ ❤️
Really enjoy listening to the advices that you have given in throughout your channel and I actually learnt a lot of things too! Also congrats on moving to HK a very well developed country. It's cool that people even consider moving to asia! I'm from Malaysia myself and sometimes I wonder what its like to live in the UK with all the development there.
Congratulations!!! MashAllah 🥰
Ali you got married with one of my favourite content creators. As far as I know she is just an amazing woman. This is called the perfect couple. Enjoy every moment of your life with Izzy.
Good Luck.
Is she muslim ? It isn't allowed to marry a non muslim woman right ?
@
Yes, Muslim man’s are permitted to marry a non-Muslim woman under certain conditions, according to Islamic teachings:
1. She must be from the People of the Book (Ahl al-Kitab):
Islamic law allows Muslim men to marry Christian or Jewish women. This is based on Quranic guidance (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:5). However, she should practice her faith sincerely.
2. Marriage to a Polytheist or Atheist Woman:
Marriage to women who are polytheists, idol worshippers, or atheists is generally not permitted in Islam unless they convert to Islam.
3. Preservation of Islamic Values:
The marriage should not compromise your Islamic values, and the woman must respect your faith and the upbringing of children in Islam.
4. Conditions for a Healthy Marriage:
The marriage should be based on mutual respect, love, and understanding, with both partners agreeing to uphold their religious rights and responsibilities.
@@North_American_Elija That's what I am asking is she muslim ? Or even from the people of book ? If not then this is zina
Congratulations on your wedding! Hong Kong is absolutely brilliant and I love it - it's going to be great. All the best to both of you✌
Thank you Ali for this very honest and authentic video.
Happy married life Ali. Bliss🎉🎉
Welcome to HK! 🇭🇰 So surprised that you moved to HK and truly hope you embark an amazing journey here ❤
Attitude of gratitude becomes a baseline feeling then ego disappears and the present becomes the present.
I live in Hong Kong so I’m really surprised and happy that you have moved to Hong Kong too!
