I ordered one over a month ago and was told they are having an issue with supply on their gas tank. Hope for delivery in August!!!
Awesome! Hope they get it in. Were you able to use discount code KOAM?
@@KOAMOutdoors I ordered it before I seen your review! Not direct from them either. I am hoping it goes through! $2,800ish free shipping
@@jeffwilliams5256 good deal. I was out using mine the last 2 nights. When you get it let me know what you think. More than welcome to hit me up on any questions as well.
@@jeffwilliams5256 Jeff- was that for the 44” with 14.5 HP Kawasaki motor?
I wish I had DR rough-cut mower. Instead, a couple months ago I purchased a Swisher brush mower which is 448 pounds and tires on the unit unable to carry the weight effectively. First time mowing and had a flat. Following day, noticed the other tire was half deflated. Also, drinks gasoline fast. Furthermore, raising and lowering and leveling machine complicated. One last thing, due to only two flimsy, small wheels to support mower; I found that scalping ground with mower blades happens on rough ground. My previous brush mower with four wheels mowed the same area and never ever scalped the ground.
The flat was due to the weight or a torn hit the tire? I've ran Swisher since 2012 and no issues like that have ever occurred. What model mower did you buy?
I have the same cutter….lowering/raising the unit is a pain in the ass. The back end should’ve never been boxed and tapered towards the ground, should’ve been radiused up for backing on unlevel ground and discharge material.
The exhaust cracked in several places and exhaust flange broke on one side.
I've been running these since 2012, just recently bought new one. Been impressed with the 14.5hp. I do understand what you're saying on lowering and raising unit though. Best of luck!
Thanks for the vid. You mentioned your code KOAM won't work with factory direct. Does this mean it will only work with Swisher dealers? Thanks
It wouldn't be with Swisher Dealers. Swisher phone number is 800.222.8183. Call them and tell them what you want to purchase and you watched the video. They can tell you if it's able to be used.
@@KOAMOutdoors thanks you sir.
@@kmac556 you're welcome
Tried the code and it isn’t working. Is this because they have a sale on what I’m looking to purchase?
Thanks
@kmac556 probably so. Did you call them?
it;'s not a gas "motor" but an engine. motors are electric.
Sure is funny that the dictionary definition for “motor” is a machine, especially one powered by electricity or internal combustion, that supplies motive power for a vehicle or for some other device with moving parts.
So why leave a comment making someone out to be ignorant when your comment is indeed ignorant.
@@gallier89 I don't give a damn what the "dictionary" says, ask an engineer moron; it's as I said, motors are electric.
