How well does it do on shorter grass? Im looking for a "finish mower" for my 1 acre yard that is too steep for riding and tough to push. I looked at some of those reviews and belt slipping seems to plaugue them on thick or wet grass... this one will only drop to 3 inches where the others can go to 1 1/2, but the smaller engines on those seem to be no comparison to this V twin. What's your thoughts?

Not sure if I’d use it for real short grass. It does cut short but not finish mower quality. Haven’t had any belt issues or any issues at all actually

Thank you, it has been holding up well. Knock on wood, no issues so far. Has been working great. I do not use it all the time but it is definitely handy to have
