Man! I have binge watched like 90% of your videos in the last 3 days. You are simply amazing. I have been desperately looking for an unbiased person with honest, educational videos with real product recommendations and you, my friend, are a life saver! Thank you a million times. Looking forward to implementing all of your advice. This channel is going to blow up!!
Me too
you know what I’ve binged watched him also I’m subscribed and I do love these videos but when you say unbiased I stopped and thought for a second if he’smaking a commission or sponsorship, any $, from talking about OlaPlaex or any of the ones that are on here, is it really unbiased because that’s what people do, they say one products better and one is bad because they’re making money off of it and they’re advertising it at the same time while giving you advice it might just be a real sly fucking way to do it you know I really hope that’s not the case but some people are just better at disguising what their motive is than others! 🤷🏻♀️🙏🏻🤗
@@alexismichos2642 That did cross my mind for sure but I ended up ordering some of the products he recommended and I found that while the olaplex and morrocan oil do work for me, that blow dry cream is realllyyy not for me. Still don’t know how I feel about the heat protectant either.
co om
Me right now!!! 😂
Discovered your channel a few weeks ago & im sooo surprised you don’t have MILLIONS of subscribers!!! This is the best hair channel on here!! Straight forward and honest & all these products and tips have helped me more in the past 2 weeks than anything else I’ve been recommended by other channels!! Thank you!! Can’t wait to see your Channel keep growing!
Appreciate you Lexi! We're getting about 400 new subs per day so it should be much bigger soon:) 🙏
I super agree😊🙏
Same I agree!
Absolutely. I've been binge watch to. I already had most of the products he uses. I am waiting for my order with the opalex oil and the best leave in conditioner. I got the Kenra thermal protection but I think I need to try the Redken one.
Agree🎉🌼🥰
Solid honest info. I have thick frizzy hair and pretty much hated 50+ years till I found your channel. Thank you keep doing what you do. Also appreciate no background music, clear voice!
As an African American woman with curly long hair is that the blow drying part really hits. Especially with a round brush it makes your hair that much smoother when you straighten it and easier too compared to air drying. Don't forget heat protection!
Yes! For me a boar bristle round brush is best as it really grips my hair
Yes, blow drying with a round brush does most of the smoothing before the straightening tool (I use a Tymo ring or Instyler bcuz flat irons don’t work as well for my coarse hair).
I would LOVE for you to do a video on natural hair. I know there’s different (Black) hair types, but it’d be amazing to see your routine on a black model.
I seriously love all your videos and advice. You have made the confusion of what hair products to use so much easier for me. Thanks for your videos :)
Thank you Chris! My hair has never in my whole life been as healthy and gorgeous and well -styled as it does now that I’ve been following your advice ! I spend much less time on my hair and I get SO many compliments ! Chris, you certainly know hair ! 😊
I just wanted to say a BIG thank you because a ‘hairdresser’ damaged my hair in 2020 and since then I have spent thousands and thousands of £s trying to fix it and no matter how much I cut off it was still breaking. I have used everything!!! Ever since I started watching your videos I now have a simple healthy hair routine and I’ve never been happier. Obviously I still have some damage but my hair is in much better condition and it can hold styling and can be brushed everyday which was the hardest thing to do. You have literally saved my hair. I am now working on getting my hair thick again which I’m sure without breakage it’ll get there soon. Massive thank you to you!!!
I'm so curious what the damage was. I, too, suffered damage from a "hairdresser" and Chris' advice is absolutely spot on for long, healthy hair.
Plz explain ur routine?
In their defense college especially in America is a mf SCAMMMMM it’s literally 99% useless bs u pay 30,000$ to learn that you could learn online, and all schooling desperately needs restructure but for some reason they won’t do that. Oh wait it’s bc they benefit from people being uneducated bc debt!! Sorry my Ted talk is over now lol
I never knew why my hair was always a pain to straighten after air drying compared to blow drying. Great video
Thanks for info. I enjoy your honesty concerning products that are not needed. It tells me you truly care about our hair. Thank You so much for that!!🤗
Hi Chris! Thank you for all of your amazing advise! You've taught me sooooo much! Keep going strong!
OMG Chris. Thank you, Thank You, Thank you. I literally have purchased all of your recommendations for my hair and waiting on them to arrive, I had the olaplex oil. In the meantime, I experimented. LET ME TELL YOU HOW IMPRESSED I AM RIGHT NOW! I had long hair and cut it a little longer than chin length last year, lowlights, with short layers and bangs, I feel I'm on the medium hair spectrum bordering coarse, my hair all my life, (51yrs) has never held a curl. So I tried your smaller barrel technique (after always using big round brushes, GHD flat iron, foxy Bae 5 and 1 curling system the spiral, bubble and 2 largest attachments). I used Aveda thermal spray and the 3/4 barrel. WOW, WOW!!!!! I'm living through 90 degree, 100% humidity and its relentless in Michigan this summer. After curling it, i used a little of the oil, proceeded to walk outside, I read a few chapters in my book, worked a 12 hour shift last night, napped after getting home this morning before another 12 hours tonight and my curls are still going! 💯 you are the bomb after spending millions over the years, shopping at Cosmo prof (was a nail tech in my young years), salons etc....I finally can be happy with my Holy Grails thanks to your advice. I hope to retire to Ft. Meyers and I will be looking your salon up .
im so happy I came across your videos, you're knowledgable and get straight to the point with no fluff!!! I love it! keep up the great work my hair thanks you!
Addicted to these vids! I got the leave in conditioner and the red Ken heat spray thank you Chris your knowledge is a real game changer I’m looking forward to getting longer locks 😊

Could you make a video on how to prevent that flat iron smell that stays in your hair sometimes even after you wash it? Love your content I’m learning so much. ♥️
Your videos really are a God send. I've learned so much.
Flat ironing is the only thing that smooths my hair. Blow outs don't cut it, my hair no matter what professional or how much tension, blowouts make my hair too poofy and apparently professionals all say woah your hair is really thick and there's a lot of it. So sure blowouts can be cute but I like sleek and only the iron works. I'm glad to hear blow drying as straight as I can and then iron because that's what I do! I've found only titanium plates work well on me. I just need help understanding if my styling products are right hence why I'm here!
^Girl same ! I have thick hair, and when i do it myself i need to blow-dry then flat iron or as you said it's just too poofy if i just blow dry it. Done this for ages. But, then if i want to curl my hair its an extra step... which is more heat! but if i just blow dry and then use a curling iron the curls don't look as polished. But, you know if you find a good stylist they don't need to flat iron it IF they do a great blow out. I've gone to some stylists who suck, complain how much hair i have and blow-dry it no better than i could and with poof! But, thankfully lately i found great stylist who blow dry it so nice and smooth, and sleek .... when i need my hair for a event. I just wish i could blow dry as a professional and take out the flat iron step .
Your videos have SO MUCH GREAT INFORMATION!!!! Thank U!!!!!! 😊🙏🏻
I love this channel. Used this today with the Redken spray, and wow, I look like I’ve visited the salon!!!
Explain ur routine

Thank you for this !!
Love all your videos! Should I use the heat protector for the straightener while my hair is wet or after I blow dry then I spray before straightening?
This is so good!

Your videos are the best!!! My hair is so healthy and shiny now and it literally takes me 30 extra seconds a day 😊 Thank you!!

I know I will get healthy hair watching all your Videos🙌 I use a flat iron on my very fine/ thin hair just a bit, but never used a heat protectant? I’m learning so much & am following you on Amazon Live.
Also I must say your “ Shorts” are the funniest thing ever😀
Very helpful. Thank you.
OMG! Where have you been all my life?? 😅 amazing videos! You are more than an pro! Greetings from Austria ✌🏻😎
Hi. Thanks for all the information. It is really helpful. What about Olaplex 7 as a heat prorector? Do you recommend it?
Thank you. Was informative.
Hi Chris! Love your videos :) Would you recommend a heat protector or a blow dry cream when using the Dyson Airwrap?
I love you so much 😭😭 THANK YOU!!!!
Love your videos 💕
Your advice using conditioner spray after shower and hair oil on tips of the hair is gold!! Thank you ! I purchase the Redkin volume shampoo and conditioner, spry conditioner and olaplex hair oil and my hair growing and nothing breaks!! Thank you!!!🙏🏼
Can you please make a video about frizzy hair, I have curly hair and I do all tge right steps of shampoo conditioner and leave in conditioner and using silk pillows and avoiding heat like I would use heat on my hair once or twice every 3-5 months .. but I still have frizz and it’s really annoying ..
Hi Chris! I’m learning so much from you! Thanks for what you’re doing. I have so many questions so I’ll keep it quick. If my hair is putting of steam when using a flat iron or curling wand what does that mean? Too much protectant? Not enough? No biggie? Something else?
Another great video
I am loving this channel and I am taking all your advice and taking action. I would love to see you cut a d style one of your clients hair maybe color too. Just want to see so I can make my mind up about coming to Florida for a hair makeovef.

Thank you for this great and important info on heat protectant sand flat ironing. I have that problem with my hair. My hair grows from the scalp it breaks at the ends. It’s very frustrating because I’m trying to growmy hair a little longer. I also recently bought a Babyliss flat iron, the narrow one but not clear what heat protectant is best. This video shells me with that. I also take heavy sit medications for rheumatoid arthritis. Do you have any suggestions that would help my hair? Would that affect my hair? Also, does I make any difference the size of th flat iron, narrow compare to wider? Also, do you recommend a hair product to use after flat ironing? I look forward o your reply. Thanks so much.
Ok I'm late for this party but so glad I eventually got here! Great unbiased advice. Gotta go.....loadsa catching up to do!
I'd love to see you make a video with tips on blow dry brushes, blow dryers, flat irons, etc. for complete novices.
I've never used any of these and am hesitant to spend $100+ on any single tool when I don't know what the heck I'm doing with them.
Could you please recommend a good titanium flat iron?I am binge watching all your videos and adding to my carts the products u have recommended so far.keep it up
Hey your content is amazing!! Do u have an opinion about Infra red flat irons in particular the Upgrade brand?
I haven't straightened my hair since 2013 and I bought a T3 one swipe flat iron last December and I still haven't used it. My main reason for the delay is I have naturally curly hair and don't want to damage my curls and make my hair dryer and more brittle. I would like to use a more "natural" heat protector if possible. Do you ever make your own or recommend anything I may already have at home please? Thank you for your tips!
What kind of iron do you prefer a straightening iron or curling iron and what's the difference between a finishing spray and a Hairspray
Hallo Chris, i wanna thank you for your work, i´ve been watching your viedos and it helps me to understand what my hair needs, my question is can you recommend a flat iron for short fine hear, i´ll be grateful, salutes von Germany
What do you do about the kinks and bends that happen from sleeping????
You’re the best!!
Love your channel thanks for the many tips. Redken hot sets 22 is not available in South Africa. Any other suggestions for thermal protection for a flat iron please?
So I have a question, I dye my hair a lot so I was wondering what hair care routine I need to take care of my hair? I love your videos!!
This is probably a very ignorant question but do you first of all use a blow dry cream when you blow dry the hair straight and then use the stronger heat protector when you get onto doing the flat ironing or do you use the stronger heat protector when you start the whole thing off?? Also I have asked for help with short hairstyles but a big problem is I cannot use a brush with a flat iron because my hair is simply too short this means that I tend to pass more than once over a lot of my hair because I don’t get it right first time and I know I’m doing damage so can you give some tips for short hair flat ironing? Thanks again for a fantastic video! 😁🥰
Hello, so I'm getting my hair permanently straightened with Japanese Hair Straightening service and I wanted to ask if you have any products you recommend I use after the 72 hours of process?
ok, so the Pureology leave in conditioner is a game changer on day one!!! I have 64yo hair that has changed texture the last few years and my top layer frizz was GONE using the leave in. Question though...what is the difference between the Kenra Thermal Styling Spray, and the Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray, which I've used forever?
Are any of these heat protectants good for curly hair? I ask because my curly hair will revert back with any “wet” spray. Or maybe my issue is putting too much product for it to soak too much?
God bless you bro!!
Wow great information thks❤
Would love to see a video on how to get your naturally straight hair but curled, for 3 days!
I loosely tie my hair back at night and I always have one side that needs to be retouched. I know that’s not good to retouch everyday. Any tips or tricks please
U're absolutely the best
The two products you mentioned have alcohol which is very drying to my high porosity hair. Is there any heat protection products without alcohol that you recommend? Possibly in a form of a serum?
Thku I do appreciate your advice
Awesome very well done thk u!
Question..when you count days, does day 1 start the same day you wash it?
Whats straightening iron do you prefer??
I have long straight hair but i prefer it being wavy and i would like more volume. Do you have a video on how to get/keep wavy hair?
Also i was wondering how you use both the blow dry heatprotection spray and the blow out cream?
