Hi everyone, so I’ve been binge watching his vids since last weekend. I purchased the redken shampoo for volume for fine hair , the Moroccan hair mask, the olaplex 3 and 7, the purology leave in and the living proof dry shampoo. These products work and did not weight my hair down. I’ve was able to not wash it for 5 days. Applied oil to my ends almost every night. My hair feels amazing. I was previously using the ordinary shampoo and conditioner but my hair was so dry that it was also curling which I did not understand because I have straight hair. I’d have to move to a house with a bigger bathroom plus I’d be spending hours using all the gizmo stuff. Nope, I want to live life outside of the bathroom and salon.
Ion blow dryer is legit. I had an old T3 for over a decade and when Dyson hit the market I bought into the hype. After 2-3 months of Dyson my hair was a frizzy, dried mess; never in my life was that an issue for my 1 A/B hair. Went back to my old T3 and within a few weeks my hair smoothed out.
Agree, when I use the Dyson Airwrap (vs regular dryer) or even the Shark Flexstyle my hair is frizzy. I had an old T3 featherweight and when it died I replaced it with the Elchim Healthy Ionic and it was far better and faster than the T3. But it's super heavy. It's faster than the Dyson Airwrap (in dryer mode), but much slower than the Shark Flexstyle (in dryer mode) (but it has no Ionic feature).
Thank you for addressing flyaways! I got pregnant with my 2nd and as soon as I got pregnant, I got a bunch of breakage at the crown of my head which I did not have with my previous pregnancy. I bought the stick and it sucked and indeed was too heavy. Thanks!
Listening to your advice and techniques made my hair look amazing even with cheap products 🤣 but I bought the good stuff now according to my hair type and will still be binge watching every step as I wash my hair tonight! 😂 completely saved my hair ❤
Love these tips well should say I continue to. I have wavy hair so every time I showered but didn’t wash if usually just tuck my hair up and try not to get it wet but the hair at the nape of my neck and ends always were dry and looked yuck the next day. For someone trying to grow their hair back after cutting it, it made me just want to keep trimming it thinking my hair wasn’t supposed to get longer or something. Ever since you mentioned the shower cap advice in another video that has made a HUGE difference in the after shower effect. I usually just keep it on after while the bathroom is humid and just brush teeth and all that good stuff wearing a cap. Seriously thank you and LOVE your channel.
I've been binging your videos since I discovered your channel last week and you've inspired me to take better care of myself. I was merely searching for a blowout tutorial at first but now my goal is to create an actually good routine for my fine hair! Thank you! I was also just about to buy a new blow dryer so I'm glad I saw this first, gotta look for an Ion one. You already get a lot of requests as the blowout god of youtube, but I was wondering if you could make a more extensive list of recommended products? I live in Korea and Redken, Pureology, Pulp Riot etc. that you recommend can only be bought through sketchy amazon listings with $30 shipping fees.. I would appreciate it so much if you could recommend some alternative brands or dupes per product type. Thank you for being so inspiring!!!
I don't do blowouts and I don't like using products, but two (and a half?) of your suggestions have totally improved my hair: 1: Shampooing twice. Not only does it extend my time between washes, but it gives my hair more volume. 2:Wet brand brush. I've seen these before, I had friends that had them. And they'd start from the top and pull the brush through where it makes that godawful sound that only Wet brushes make. So I swore them off, and used combs and started from the bottom instead. Except... 2b: Brushing product through my hair. I would avoid brushing my hair when I put product in, choosing to finger comb it instead. But now that I have the Wet brush, I spray my leave in conditioner (mids and ends), and then brush it, and it's made a world of difference. Not only does my hair feel softer and healthier, but it's got better movement and volume now too. Same product as I've been using, the only difference is brushing it through. So even though I don't blow dry my hair, I still watch every one of your videos. Partly for the tips, partly for the wigs and expressions, lol
Hi Chris, I have been slowly incorporating your recommendations and starting to notice a big difference. So happy. I do have a request. I have bangs and not sure what to do with them. I don't put any product on them but sometimes they get oily before the rest of my hair. Could you do advice on bangs video? I love all the videos so far!

This is old, but I'm currently watching all of his videos 😂 in one, he does say to blow dry your sweat into your scalp and that the sweat is beneficial
I don't even have all the recommended products yet, but just using the ones i already had, differently, has calmed my cobwebby flyaway hair that used to be coarse. Suddenly 3 years ago, it started getting soft and fine, mousse that usually gave me lion mane volume started making my hair even softer and flatter. I've lost half my hair, just seemed gone one day when i bent over to make a pineapple tail for sleep. I stopped wearing on top of head, which I'd always done for volume. These techniques have really helped (unlike the hair-filter girl pushing drug store prices products!) So grateful for your plain advice, and hope i can increase volume as well as health.
Helllo there, any videos for curly hair? I have long silver hair down to my waist. I wear it both curly and straight. I’d love to hear what you recommend for mature ladies like me. ❤
I haven’t bought a lined shower cap yet, but I wore my (dry) microfiber turban under it for a few showers, and that goes make a difference. I haven’t tried it with a blowout yet, but it helped with frizz management on a wavy diffused style.
Please do some more videos for people with STRAIGHT flat hair who want some curl and body. 😊 Also, tips for very active women would be greatly appreciated! Thank you 🧡

Hi there Chris- started following you a few months back and am loving your videos! Some of the products I purchased from your recommendation are a real game changer however still struggling with a few things... 1-freeze 2-sweat from working out/walking. I've watched the video about keeping heat-less for at least 3 days but I don't seem to be able to do it if I do my hair as you instruct, blow dry it and use the flat iron after washing. I do work out 6 days a week and cardio only 2 but even when I only lift weights and walk I still get the sweat ruining all my hair hard work haha - If its all natural freezie then I don't mind if if gets messed up around the ears and the roots but if I did my hair then I don't want only that area to be messy and ugly. I purchased this Harry Josh blow dryer recently but quite honestly I don't see that much of a difference from my old Rusk. I was hoping to get a hack for the blow dried freeziness I get every time. It seems that if I blow dry my hair after washing it, it doesn't really straightens it. It gets real freezie with the blow dryer air and only the flat iron can get rid of the freeze. I usually go on walks in the morning here in California, which is a fairly dry climate and when I come home, from the little sweat around my ears and the roots of the hair it messes up with the whole work I done the day before which prevents me from going 3 days without the heat. Any tips or tricks I can try to avoid this??
Only subscribed to three channels… I love all the awesome tips and knowledge you share so I decided to give YOU & THE FANCIEST my first comment and say THANK YOU!😊
Your videos are gold! I started watching earlier this year and my hair looks the best it ever has. I think my main takeaway was the heat protectant for blow drying and any other heat styling. I do hear style more then recommended but my hair can take it because I take care of it pretty good in every other way.
Id love to know how you would keep a short pixie cut from frizzing up while sleeping plz . I have a silk pillowcase but i still wake up with frizzy hair at the back . Many thanks 😊
Love these videos. Using recommendedproducts and leaving the hair cut for a while. My hair is red naturally, but now white. The dye I use is Oleo without peroxide. Could you recommend a dye with good quality? Since menopause Í´m devoloping curly hair. So a video for aging hair and hair home colouring wood be great.
Hi! I watched your videos about clarifying shampoos and how to properly wash my hair and it's really helped a lot. Can you talk about how to use color correction shampoos? Like how often to use it, how to choose one suitable for your hair type, and any tips and tricks for color treated hair? Thx!
I use a piece of silk cloth to push those flyways down after spraying. I give an Oil & Protein Pak to Prevent Dryness. ( I still use oil or an Ultra Light Leave - In ) For making dull hair shiny and keeping moisture at bay, Silicone Oil during blow drying or hot ironing for medium to coarse hair also helps.
Thank you. Another great video. You recommended a few products in this video (e.g. hair dryer, hair cap....), in the future can you add a link in the show notes? It would make finding the products easier and hopefully you can get "credit" for my purchase? Keep up the great work!

I used disposable shower caps for years, and switched to a terry lined one per your recommendation. After some time, it starts to smell (I’m guessing because it dries slowly). How often should we wash these shower caps, and how? I threw mine in the washing machine, and water got trapped between the layers. I had to squish it out, and then I threw it in the dryer for fear it would get stinky from taking so long to dry. 🤷🏻♀️ However, I have a feeling the heat of the dryer will cause the vinyl layer to crack over time, allowing water to penetrate.
Love your videos! Do you think you could do a video on hair loss? During the first round of Covid, I experienced a scary amount of hair loss. And it appears to be another peak of the virus going around …I’m trying to save my hair! 🫠

I usually just keep it on after while the bathroom is humid and just brush teeth and all that good stuff wearing a cap. Seriously thank you and LOVE your channel.
I have kinky, coily hair that I never get blown out but I find many of your hacks even helpful for my hair and I enjoy your videos.

Ooooh I already had a towelling shower cap from Primark I bought for two pounds! My hair has been so much better since following your advice!
I don't do blowouts and I don't like using products, but two (and a half?) of your suggestions have totally improved my hair:
1: Shampooing twice.
I used the trinity routine this week and my sad hair has felt so great ALL week, just by changing how I use the products I already used!
4:00 my hair is so dry that no amount of oil can fix it. yes i can add more oil but it just becomes dry but soaked in oil. and i dont know how to fix it im tryin keratin treatments at home and ditch sulfate
You probably have curly hair or wavy hair waiting to come out... treat it as curly by the curly girl method and I bet it'll start looking beautiful!
@@tessltaekook8501 i mean when i air dry it i have beach waves when i brush it it's almost straight and any type of method to make it wavy results in waves that don't fall unless i wash them
I just recently got a trim after 2 years of no haircut and my hairdresser commented on how healthy my hair was . I owe it all to you !
Could you give me some advice and hacks you learned from his videos?
ok, I love your videos ... but I was going to soon ask for demonstrations of someone working with their OWN hair. watching Leslie section her own hair was a great first step!!! Id love for tutorials to be explained from now on WHILE WATCHING she or someone else with long hair carrying out the steps. what I'd love to see first is self blow drying with round brush! 🎉🎉🎉 keep up the tremendous channel 👏 😊

You animations are everything!!!
Love you content. Can you make a video about in-salon keratin, botox, collagen, and stem cell treatments?
And maybe a video about protecting straight and curly styles while sleeping?
Thank you!!!!
I discovered your channel very recently... and it has helped my hair so much already. Thank you!
I did my hair according to the trinity routine and I got compliments on it everyday since 🥹 my dream of having salon style hair at home finally came true!
More hair care tips for regular runners pls. The only thing that won't let me go 3-4 days w/o washing - my early morning 5k runs!
He has a video but I’m in your boat - 5-8km runs daily mean I struggle with a hair wash routine!
This is old, but I'm currently watching all of his videos 😂 in one, he does say to blow dry your sweat into your scalp and that the sweat is beneficial
Your way of teaching and editing are gold. Thank you so much!
These techniques have really helped (unlike the hair-filter girl pushing drug store prices
products!)
So grateful for your plain advice, and hope i can increase volume as well as health.
Thank you, always informative.
Please do some more videos for people with STRAIGHT flat hair who want some curl and body. 😊
Also, tips for very active women would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you 🧡
I got the Harry Josh blowdryer and the Ion setting is a game changer! It takes me so much less time to blow dry my hair.
I would love a video for how to take care if you have fine natural curly/wavy hair and how to define the curls. Thank you for all your videos, I love them. But I don't blowdry my hair so I would really love to see a video about what I said before. ❤
Thanks for all these tips Chris! I finally got the Pureology leave in conditioner today 🤩 I’m going to use it after I wash my hair tonight and style my hair tomorrow, I can’t wait to start using it! PS. Leslie really makes these videos even more fun, please keep her around 😄
Haha lol thanks for appreciating my humor! 😂
Did it work ???
@@leslienaoom no problem Leslie, your hair is gorgeous btw 😍
@@aminecherifi250 I only got it today so I haven’t tried it yet. I won’t know until I’ve used it a few times so it’s going to take a couple weeks at least to see if there’s any improvement
@@gagalover2k10 thank you! You are too sweet! ❤️❤️❤️
You guys are awesome. With little humor & to the point.

Great Video❤ thanks!
Would love to know how to protect hair during ride with my bicycle
Its always very tangled cause of the wind and weather😢
could you recommend leave ins for fine hair?
Lesley's tip on the hair band under the shower cap is genius - thank you sooooo much 💜
You are very welcome! It’s a life saver for me!
@@leslienaoomcan you please ask Chris to make a video with product recs for high porosity/damaged hair? Cause oil just doesn’t work! It goes dry again after a few minutes.
Hi Chris and Leslie! Awesome video! ❤ Could you please recommend a product to use for fine hair to keep the style when the humidity is high outside
I came back to thos video to say best hair I've had in my life ever by listening to this guy. Thank you!!!! My scalp was always greasy- all my hair falling out (ok being dramatic) but it was bad
Thank you so much for all the tips
I would love to know how to put volume into my hair for day 2 and 3. I struggle with volume after the first day
Only subscribed to three channels… I love all the awesome tips and knowledge you share so I decided to give YOU & THE FANCIEST my first comment and say THANK YOU!😊
Your faces in the wig 😂😂 you are educational and fun! Thanks! Love your videos.
Your videos are gold! I started watching earlier this year and my hair looks the best it ever has. I think my main takeaway was the heat protectant for blow drying and any other heat styling. I do hear style more then recommended but my hair can take it because I take care of it pretty good in every other way.
The hairdryer is not available in the UK what other one do you recommend?
Love it! This video is JAM PACKED with a lot of really great tips and tricks ❤
I stumble upon your channel this morning.
Really like your forthright review on hair products
Id love to know how you would keep a short pixie cut from frizzing up while sleeping plz . I have a silk pillowcase but i still wake up with frizzy hair at the back . Many thanks 😊
Ive been using the headband/showercap hack for several years. It works quite well.
So happy about the rainx mention. It is a game changer for driving.
What if the hair oil doesn’t get rid of the dryness and frizz? 😢
There are hair mascaras for flyaways. You can also use a clear eyebrow gel.
Hi! I watched your videos about clarifying shampoos and how to properly wash my hair and it's really helped a lot. Can you talk about how to use color correction shampoos? Like how often to use it, how to choose one suitable for your hair type, and any tips and tricks for color treated hair? Thx!
Chris is by far the king of all hairdressers 👑
Chrissss, do you have any good alternative for a hairdryer? The Hairy Josh is not available in the UK 😥
^ this! It's a shame because it also happens to be really cute. 🥲
Can you do a whole video dedicated to the art of sectioning hair, maintaining, different styles like a side part etc
I love these videos, and I love the friendship between the two of you guys 😍
My hair has improved so much since I started taking your advice in July. I can’t wait to see where I end up at six month and one year marks
Do you like the color fanatic leaving in conditioner, I used it twice now and I found that my hair feels strange, did it happen to you as well in the beginning ? cause I am thinking to stop using It , could you please reply to my comment 🙏
@@ummtaimann6819 hi, I really like the leave in conditioner! Is it possible that you’re using too much of it? I did notice once when I used too much that it felt a bit heavy and sticky.
You're like a hair Alton Brown. Very witty! Your tips are true because I'm a hair person and learned. I'm not a pro and I did not go to school. Should have though.....anyway, thank you for the help. XO
Chris! Would love a video for people who work out every day and the best way to take care of your hair when it gets sweaty
I lightly spray some rose water on the roots to freshen it then blow dry on cold

I love your videos and your advice has made my hair improve so much! I got to say though, I love the way you talk. You. talk. In broken. Sentences. I can pick your voice out from a mile away. I. Love. Your videos.
LOL I used to listen to a radio guy who talked like that. I picked it up by accident 😂
Chris, is it normal to loose more hair during spring and autumn or is it just a myth?
Is it ok to use 1 shampoo at the first wash and another 1 for the second wash?
I got one of those shower caps and they are a god send! My hair stays nice and straight for days.
I'm going to do just as you say for thin fine hair. Thanks?
Do you have tips for curly hair?
I used disposable shower caps for years, and switched to a terry lined one per your recommendation. After some time, it starts to smell (I’m guessing because it dries slowly). How often should we wash these shower caps, and how? I threw mine in the washing machine, and water got trapped between the layers. I had to squish it out, and then I threw it in the dryer for fear it would get stinky from taking so long to dry. 🤷🏻♀️ However, I have a feeling the heat of the dryer will cause the vinyl layer to crack over time, allowing water to penetrate.
Turn it inside out after every use!
@@kittykraze2350 Really? With the terry on the outside? I’ll give it a shot!
Love your videos! Do you think you could do a video on hair loss? During the first round of Covid, I experienced a scary amount of hair loss. And it appears to be another peak of the virus going around …I’m trying to save my hair! 🫠
Hello, Big blowout is not available in my country. Is there any other product to replace it?
