“Porn star everyday on Instagram!” 😂 I hear you! That’s why when I go out, I wear nice, beautiful makeup that brings out my features. I get compliments for it, even men tell me how suprised they are to see a woman with “natural” makeup versus the heavy drag makeup that everyone is wearing. You will stand out from everyone if you aren’t caked in crazy makeup!

I absolutely agree with you! Tons on makeup don't look good on anyone (in my opinion) - it makes skin look "dead" (yes, even with blush and bronzer!) and to me, there's nothing
more boring than a makeup look that looks like you've spent too much time (yes, there is such a thing, in my opinion) in the bathroom. I love makeup and while I can spend some time
on it, - it's not gonna take me hours on end to finish my makeup look.
- Also, there is a time and place for everything, I guess. If you are 16, 17, maybe 20 years old, - sure, you will experiment more with makeup, and you should (if you like it, that is) - since that is how you learn. Then I think it is a good thing to spend more time with your makeup routine.
However, as an adult, I think that while it is nice to pamper yourself with a spa day or put some glamorous makeup on, there's more to life than makeup. One of the reasons why I love your videos so much is because you come across as a genuine person, - you are to the point and you share some neat makeup tips. You are glamourous but never overly done. You are sophisticated and elegant and a good makeup teacher. I enjoy watching all the pretty makeup that you present for us, - your videos are my "treat" of the day, so to speak. :)
These are obviously only my personal opinions, (and they really don't matter that much, after all, they're just opinions😉) and it is not my intention to offend anyone who chooses to spend more time and energy on their makeup routine.❤ I have been there myself as a teenager and young adult. I spent hours and hours during the weekends with my makeup routine.
- And as I mentioned earlier, that is how I learned about different techniques and such. 😊😊😊

I have a question? When I purchased my Chanel at Nordstrom’s here in NC, the Chanel lady sold me shade 12 in the new light weight foundation with shade 21 concealer!! I’ve not used it but once & without concealer. I feel like it’s too light & too pinky!! She said she matched it to my skin!! I wear shade 5.5 foundation in Charlotte Tilbury so how would I wear shade 12 in Chanel?? What do you think??

Chanel foundation #12 is a very light color. My color is 20. Sorry I do not have Chanel #21 concealer. Charlotte tilbury 5.5 I will say it's medium color and chanel it's fair I wish you can come to my store and I can match you 😊
PS: I have to correct myself a bit. I do not mean that there's anything "wrong" with spending a lot of time on makeup per se. Because it is a craft and there's so much to learn and new things/techniques coming up all the time. So spending time learning and understanding is a good thing. :) I love watching makeup artists talk about how to use products and so on, - so, my comment was not meant to come across as rude or anything like that. I just think that while it is fun to learn about makeup techniques and so on (and fun to watch new products being put to use) and spend time putting on makeup, I sometimes wonder just how much time some of the women on Instagram use when you see these (in my opinion) not so pretty looks... (: the overly done makeup looks, that looks like a p*rn star...) 😅😅😅
