@@louisesharpy I would say they are very similar, you barely can tell the difference; maybe the new formulation has a little more "cream to powder" texture, but still with the same slightly glow finish, and I prefer this new one.
The shade 10 of the powder is a cooler and very light tone, the shade 20 is light/medium with more golden undertone, I have them both. I have also the 60, I use it as a cool bronzer (while the 50 is warmer). There was also a shade 25, a peachy tone, but I don't know if it's been discontinued. It's a nice powder, but unfortunately it does hard pan.
🌺 thank you for the info! I might have to try 20. You’re right though - I notice it does have a tendency to hard pan a bit. I’ll continue to see what I can do to mitigate that 🌟
I have come to really like neutral eye shadows; I have cool coloring and I like The Rock Chick by Charlotte Tilbury and a holiday palette by Lise Watier from a couple of winters ago.
🌟 I agree! I have the CT palette Rock Chic as well & it’s a beautiful one. From my recollection the pigmentation on that one is quite substantial with great color payoff 🙌🏼
Hi Grace, Great video. It's always fun to watch your Chanel videos. Chanel has removed the coconut oil from the travel size of their bronzers. I purchased one and could definitely tell the difference, so I purchased a back up. Were you aware La Prairie has discontinued their concealer? Very upset as it is without a doubt the absolute best concealer under the eye area. Take care🥰
With Channel foundation, I wear (depending on the season) B30-B50. But my Channel powder is B20? And, I did purchase it in-store so I was color matched by a sales associate. When I went in, I was just looking for something to "take down the shine". We get a lot of humidity during the summer months.
🌟 thank you for the info - I think I definitely need to take a look at B20 - especially for the front of my face. It does a lovely job of taking down the shine without looking powdery ❤️
🤍 thank you so much! Sending greetings to you in England🌟 we were planning on visiting the Cotswolds this summer, but we decided to plan for next year sometime 🙌🏼
@@EverydayEdit lovely ! Please go in the summer as at other times it could be wet and not very warm. You try the south of France in May, as it is too hot in the summer. You may find it cheaper than England!
❤️ thanks for the info. I had also heard that the formula was different & so I asked a Chanel rep who said it hasn’t been updated - but I’ve also seen swatches where they look slightly different. So I’m not sure. I’ll have to check out the ingredient decks side by side 🙌🏼
Grace, beautiful Chanel look! I love the look on your cheek using the Chanel Baumé and adding it over the blush. A beautiful natural highlight! Great tip! 😊❤️
Hello Grace. Love to see you do your makeup. You put no effort your hands are very relaxed and everything turns out gorgeous. Today I specially liked the trick with the Chanel glow stick and the blush. Gorgeous!!! Thank you❤❤
I tried your Chanel hack w/the VBB highlighter and it worked great! I think being able to turn a powder blush into a cream is so cool. Your look looks beautiful. I would like to see u try some VBB blushes for us.
😃 great idea! Thank you for sharing how well it worked. I’ve been lucky enough to have received all of the VBB blushes when they were launched. Let me know if you’d like a link to the video. I love the formula. It’s one of the few cream blushes that doesn’t disturb makeup under it when applied. ❤️
Very interesting...I will need to go the Chanel counter this week. I have Rose Bronze and Rose Ruban blushes, Jersey may be coming home with me. I am going to try your blush/highlight tip. I am surprised I have never see this online, it is so interesting. Thank you for sharing. Another viewer was giving her comments on the other shades of glow powder, but I would love to know your opinion after you check the lighter shades. I wear the Sublimage foundation in B32....not as deep or warm as your tone. Thank you for a really fun minimal look with elegance.
You look perfect! I have the same Chanel eye compact, but it does not look nearly as good on me as it does on you. Unfortunately, the browns look like mud on me, and the grey is just too dark. I have very fair skin and grey eyes.
🌟oh wow! Grey eyes 🙌🏼 how lovely ❤️ it’s interesting- I have warmer coloring and do not love warm colors on my eyes. I feel like I can’t see them which is why I prefer cooler colors for my eye area. I wonder if the same applies to those with cooler tones.
❤️ thank you for letting me know! I enjoy making them but there aren’t many new products that look very exciting - but I’ll definitely be doing more of these 🙌🏼
I can’t wait to try the JERSEY and the blush thing you do .. I have lines and some texture at 56.. so I LOVE these tricks and I do not wear highlighter
Good morning, Grace. Lovely look… great tip with the blush.. such a soft, pretty glow. Love the caramel color lip gloss also. Did it stay on for a good amount of time? Enjoy your Sunday 🥰
❤️ thank you! The lip gloss has a bit more staying power than the VBB, but I didn’t notice anything especially long lasting about this one, but now I’ll have to observe it to check for that.
Love the look you created, Gracie! I keep wanting to get the intense palette but I keep holding back. I wonder how office appropriate it is, if it is too shimmery. I did not not envision the lipgloss to be similar to your VB gloss, I thought it was going to be a cream (not sheer) deep caramel but I was so wrong. I think it’s a beautiful color and it definitely looks beautiful on you! All great items as well. Thanks for sharing your purchase and your techniques. 😊
I love the blush hack with powder blush. I am really wanting to get the blush jersey but everyone is saying that the new formula isnt good anymore , what do u think ? Is it worth buying.
Beautiful, I can watch your skills anytime and enjoy it so much! I absolutely do use the Baume Essentiels mixed with blush. Right now I’m using them to mix with Lisa Eldridge’s discontinued tube blush. You might recall that blush is clay-based, and it tended to fill in my pores and look like dots on my face. Mixing it with an emollient like the Baume Essentiel or, in winter Jones Road Miracle Balm, I don’t get that filled in pore look. Really I just want to get more use out of that Eldridge blush, which I decanted into an empty powder compact. I’m not familiar with this face powder, will be interested to see the other shades.
I love the blush hack! Jersey was one of my first Chanel blushes too and I still use it to this day! Such a pretty and minimal look that I love, especially in the summer! Thank you for sharing it with us! Have a great upcoming week!
Hello 👋🏼 I did hear that something is happening with the concealer in the comments section here a while back 😟 I just looked for it & could only find it in one shade. What shade were you hoping for?
Hi Grace, I’ve heard that the new Chanel cream bronzer formulation is different since it doesn’t contain coconut oil.
I heard the same thing… bought the travel and definitely enjoy the travel size better than the large 😊
Yes, I have it in both sizes and the ingredients in the travel size are different, it doesn't contain the coconut oil.
I like the version with coconut oil more😊

So pretty! Love this look. 💞
Such a pretty look on you !
My favorite primer and mascara combo🤩 you need to apply the mascara right away after the primer.
❤️ thank you so much for the application tip 🙌🏼
The Les Beiges quints in medium is my most repurchased shadow from Chanel. I am a minimalist aesthetic and this quint is perfect.
🤍 I can see why you love it so much. It’s been my daily palette ever since I picked it up 🙌🏼
Thank you for the idea for the blush.
