Such a beautiful classic Chanel look today! It’s interesting... I think I’ve seen several negative reviews about that palette and it looked lovely. I agree with you that a lightly pigmented more powdery shadow can be nice for a natural eye look. Loved that Boy liner. I’ve collected about every Chanel stylo color and just went down the Chantecaille rabbit hole with the glide pencil. I’m in love with Olive Brocade. Now you have to introduce me to Boy. It’s on back order so I guess I can catch my breath for a few weeks❤️

What an amazing transformation! You look beautiful. I'm super interested in that blue eyeliner. I have found blue eyeliner to be a little tricky. Every time I try a blue liner it won't stay put and smudges everywhere.

It must have been tough not seeing your son - my eldest daughter could not come to us for Christmas due to COVID tiers here in the UK meaning she could not travel. My first Christmas without her for 21 years -tough!.

I did like the scent of Sycomore, but I gave it to my son to see if he liked it. I just tried out the bronzer since I saw you using it a lot and I wanted to get a full face of Chanel products. It's very nice. I was worried it would be too dark. I am so happy because my contact in the UK is receiving the Chanel serum foundation for me and will ship to me. In "normal" circumstances I would have receive it by now. I am so anxious to try that. I am pretty sure it will be my new favorite Chanel foundation, but we'll see. :)

The Les Beiges Healthy Glow Eyeshadow palette in Medium is my favorite. It does get a little shade for being powdery. But this type of shadow works well for my mature hooded lids. Plus, I am an eye makeup minimalist. I prefer to wear eyeshadow rather than having it wear me.
Agreed!! On all fronts! I can see why some would not like it - but I LOVE it and you are right it is great for more mature eyes and for all of us who loves neutral minimalist eye looks! xoxo

Lolly-- I have to say they are similar but are MATTE instead of some of the shades that come in the Stylo Ombre et Contour. They promise 12 hours of wear and I find that to be true!!! I will do further research but so far- I have been enjoying that Navy! xoxo
Hi Abby, which is your favorite Chanel Le Exclusifs and recommend? I like something light and not musky... For example, I do not like the No 5 which I found to be too heavy and too strong, it gave me a headache! Thanks...
I adore sycamore and really enjoy this purfume so so much. Happy New year to you. I think I may pick up the cream for winter dry skin. Looks very nice. Have you tried the oil? I think I’m going to start with the lotion.
Happy new year! I have the oil as well and LOVE it!!! They both smell fresh like the lotion. Now, I don't coat myself in either of them- I just them in select areas... LOL! Too expensive to just slather them on. So I will use an unscented body oil or lotion and them top off with these products! I hope this helps. They really are luxe and smell amazing!! xoxo

So, I was expecting to see a 'tired' Abby when you moved on to your makeup application. You look great! You may be feeling tired, but you don't look it - you look beautiful as usual. I'm happy you had a nice Christmas, we had a quiet day and watched Hallmark movies-LOL! I love the way everything looked on you. I have to try the Boy de Chanel liner, I love the navy. I just got the Bleu de Chanel EDP for my husband - I love it, I also love the Bleu de Chanel Parfum (just got a sample of it - I may have to get that one too). @@AbbyBlissWhite they are similar to the stylo ombre et contour in that you can smudge them easily, but they set well in my experience. You can blend them like cream shadow. They don’t dry too quickly that they become hard to work with. Chanel has the best eyeliners. Love it when you feature Chanel! I’d love to see Boy Navy with khaki as you mentioned.

So excited whenever I see another Chanel video from You! The eye look took me by surprise in the best way possible. I have been thinking about that palette for a while now, have it in Warm and use it all the time, but if there will be nothing eyeshadow related in the next Les Beiges collection, I will get the Medium too. What surprised me the most is how spectacular the navy eyeliner looks with green eyes, so sultry and seductive, perfect for evening without having the all out dark smoky eye. Never thought to use navy for my green eyes. My go-to eyeliner is Brun Agape, but thinking of buying a darker shade for an effect like this. Maybe Cassis or Noir Enigmatique...what are Your thoughts? I feel you on nighttime pet care. I’m staying up with my cat at night lately. He usually goes potty outside,. He just won’t use a litter box. But now with snow and extreme cold he will still do his #2 outside but not #1. I have to coax him to the litter box and make sure he doesn’t try to hold it, which he will, thinking the weather will change. So I have to be there night or day for awhile to help him use that box, and scoop it right away. I know it sounds funny for a cat, but there it is, every winter we go through it.
Oh man! I am so sorry to hear this. This nighttime duty stuff this past week has been killing me. LOL! I can't imagine a whole winter's worth of duty. I hope you are able to take some catnaps during the day and squeeze in some rest where you can. Sending you love and hugs. xoxo

Bonnie- I would say the biggest difference is that one is a serum based foundation - L'essence one- and the other Les Beiges (which I also love!) is more of a traditional feel foundation. Both are glowy- but the Les Beiges is more glowy. And the Sublimage one has incorporated the skin benefits of that line in the foundation -- thus the price! LOL! But they are both great foundations. xoxo

Leyya- so far so good- no smudging! It promises to stay put for 12 hours and I will say the Navy did appear to do just that. These are not waterproof. So you might want to go with the Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof eyeliners. Those ones truly stay put!! I hope this helps. xoxo

Do you have any idea when the US will get the Chanel Sublimage ? I had a Fantastic Christmas with part of my family so I finally got to see my grandchildren. You better believe I spoiled them all the way around for Christmas. I couldn’t help it!

I bought that Les Beiges eyeshadow palette when it came out years ago but I was not impressed and returned it. I think there are so many palettes that are much better. The liner is nice, especially the blue shade.

I love the Chanel palette. I used it yesterday! I like to put the matte cream shade over my entire lid, use the matte taupe in the crease, use the darkest shade in the outer v and as a liner. Then the sparkly white, like you did, a tab in the center of the lid.
Now, of course, I feel I need the boy liner in blue!
P.S. I love le lion de Chanel. Love it! Love the amber and the smoke, the leather is there to and I love the dry down. (I don’t get the citrus in the top note!). Now I have my eye on MFK satin oud, do you know that one? I love MKF in general, he’s kind of like a genius. (I rank him up there with John Claude Ellena). I’m getting into fragrances, but it’s like living on the edge, because blind buying is risky! I must like living on the edge lol. 😊😊

Ahh... thank you Jodi! I am hoping we can all sleep soundly through the night tonight. FINGERS crossed!! AND nope- I did not do any self-tanner but we did get out and walk this weekend and there was SUNSHINE!! I was soaking it up with SPF of course.... LOL!
