When I was pretty young an old friend of mine moved away, causing our group to kind of crumble. One girl went off with some boys, the other became friends with the grade above us (we still hang out though), and I jumped in with a few kids who were new at the time. They're still wonderful people and their friends are wonderful too, plus we all still talk and junk. Although I'm quite sad to see we weren't as close as we once were, I'm glad they all have wonderful friends and decent lives. Thx to anyone who reads my little story

i do wanna undo my mistakes. in 5th grade, me best friend and i were bothered by these two clingy twins. they literally always stuck with us even though there were a billion other people in class to hang out with. hanging out with them was so exhausting. my best friend is a grade younger than me and she was in the same class as the twins. they begged the teacher to sit next to my best friend and she was tired of them as well. we explained it to their teacher but did *not* explain it well. then my mom explained it. the teacher listened to what she was saying but never acted on it (because the school we were at wanted everyone to feel included. she didn't listen even though we weren't excluding them). the only people that understood us were our parents, a guy friend we had, and my 5th grade class (three boys). if they had other friends and weren't so negative, we would've hung out with them. eventually, one of the twins made a few best friends, but the twin without friends stuck with us. we liked the twin with friends because she had other friends and even though she did hang out with us from time to time (which we didn't mind), she made sure to give us space and respect our boundaries. then, i had this toxic 'friend' who always argued about how my best friend and i were a clique even though we were open to hang out with people. he hung out with these two boys and *they* were twins. they were as toxic as he was. i used to post unedited roblox videos on my channel. i changed my channel name a few times and my toxic 'friend' teased me about it and i was so pissed at him. eventually, he apologized, which i respect him for. even though i wish my best friend and i explained it better, my teacher didn't listen to my mom, so i guess that proves she'll never understand and i have to except that.
My best friend moved away and she slowly stopped texting me so it went from: -Talking constantly | -Not talking as much but when we do she talks about her new friends | -Reading my texts and not responding | -Not reading or responding

It sucks sometimes realizing how you were the only one in the group so eager to forget about everyone and years later you're probably the only one still thinking about them constantly and there's nothing I can do about it I shouldn't blame myself over something I did when I was younger, immature, emotional, and self conscious but it hurts how I sabotaged my own relationship with people who's company I really enjoyed. I didn't know how much that kind of connection actually mattered until I was left all alone with no one to so much as even notice me long enough to pity me. for a long time i had no one by me I could've cried in the middle of class and no one would notice no one would care and I know that for a fact because it actually happened the only person who seemed to actually care at the time was horrible and only ever made me dread the already dreadful school days and I stupidly held on to that connection that only made me feel worse but i thought it's the most that someone like me deserved I didn't seem to have anything left I didn't have anything to lose if I just one day decided to end it. I made mistakes and had no one to talk to not even those who I was too blind to notice were around me all along I was such an idiot and I didn't realize that I'd sabotaged my own friendships again I was lucky to find people who actually understood me and who I actually made an effort to keep in my life but sometimes I still miss them and I wonder how we'd all be if I hadn't been so stupid
