There's a poster behind the boss I didn't notice until now. It says "Could This Happen to You?", followed by a picture of a mail truck half submerged in water and some tiny writing. I can't tell if this is a legitimate, but deprecated USPS poster they put up, or they made a fake one. Either way, the implication that your truck being underwater is a moment away at any time is hilarious.

“aren’t you raising an orphan” is something i’ve quoted to my mom probably a million times now and i still haven’t told her the context of the line. it’s just a weird inside joke now
(necessary context: my mom is my adoptive mom. i’m an orphan as my bio parents gave me up as a newborn and i was even in a literal orphanage for a while as i’m not from the US. anyway, i was adopted and i still make orphan jokes about myself because they’re objectively peak comedy)
I love how the mail conversation between Kristi and the kid can be read as "My uncle needs to get laid" "Pff do it yourself lol" "Can't you do it?" "Family's closer than you think" so it's just... incest?
