I will say this I bought 6 red LED luminous wheels to skate indoors with my power slide argon phuzion argons 110 skates and they were a blast. very good grip indoors on a roller rink setting and did not feel much speed reduction. next I will be testing outdoors to see how they hold. Great video and stay low
They look awesome and you captured the effect really impressively. Great to know, that they don't slow you down too much. It might take a while, until I can go night skating again (longer days and continuing curfew).
Thanks, witchy 🤜🏻🤛🏻! Here we also have curfew in effect, but I just don't care anymore. If they want to catch a lone skater not bothering anyone, let them try 😁
@@SerialWheeler hey Serialwheller it is a great video :))) may I ask that are these wheels are really a bit blueish (have a bit cold blue color) beside this glowing shiny light? I really like it.. so it is not only white, right? Or is it only visible on the video? In real life how does it look? Many thanks :)
@@vespa595 hey Edward! Haven't worn these wheels in a while but I would say they are mostly white. The video gave it a blueish look. Then again, the lights around you can also change the appearance. Hope it helps
I just got a set of green glow and purple 80mm for my flying Eagle F5s eclipse. Not been out at night yet as I got them this morning. Had a quick break in session, and I LOVE the way they roll 😁
That sounds like an amazing color combo 😁. How are you finding them the brightness of the purple? I know the green ones should really pop up in the night time. Maybe you can film them in action at some point 😉🤜🏻🤛🏻💥
I didnt even realize I got the "White Glow" wheels, but watching your video IM SO GLAD I DID!😍😱 I was wondering why it said "Glow" when they are obviously going to light up, but this is a cool surprise, especially considering I LOVE skating at night. ❤ Thank you for the review.
Heheeeyy, Saraev 🤜🏻🤛🏻💥! So glad that you unlocked new fun from skating on these wheels 😁. Maybe make a clip about it 😉 more people with luminous feet 😃
@@SerialWheeler I think I might. So many people in my neighborhood ask about my roller skate light up wheels, so maybe I can form a neighborhoof night skate group or something. A girl can only dream. Lol
So sick how when you lift off they glow green momentarily bc they are glowing instead of lighting up! Is that effect visible by the eye or was it better captured with the camera? Cheers for the great review!
This video is just 3 days old! I was actually looking for reviews on these a lot lately but I just stumbled across this video randomly. Already have the Bont Glow for my rollerskates, now I consider getting Luminous for my inlines. Are the white florescent wheels also available in 76mm? I’d love to have them glow even when not rolling on them!
Welcome to the channel 🤜🏻🤛🏻! As far as I know they do make this exact wheel model in size 76 mm too. Search for it 😉... had no clue Bont makes light wheels. Peace!
I am extremely bothered by the broken LED on our right foot front wheel. Tells a lot about their QC. How long do they last before LEDs start breaking down? Saw another guy with 2 out of 8 wheel not working at all.
Please man, where can I buy the bearings for luminous wheels? And what do I search for? And also I'd like a link to where I can get the luminous wheels advertised in the video. Thanks in advance
You can find the wheels all over the place. Try bladeville, grindhouse, thisissoul or just search for the name of the wheels. As for bearings, any inline bearings work on these, so anything you can find in a skate shop will be fine. I recommend ilq9 since that magnetic spacers slow you down a bit
@@SerialWheeler thanks a lot man. Although I have one last question. Since you said using any other bearings won't make it light up unless magnetic spacers, is there any alternative for that. Because the sole aim for getting a luminous wheel is to have it light up. Or maybe I'm getting something wrong.
@@Thapopgod as mentioned in the clip, the wheels already come with the magnetic spacers, so you just need to order regular inline skating bearings. Again, ALL inline skating bearings will work 😉. Have fun 🤘🏻
I haven’t used inline skates in over 20 years. But after watching all these comparison, tutorial etc videos, I’m Pumped!!! I need to get em asap! I want to get 3/125 size skates. And additional wheels later, including these neon light wheels! Which 3/125 should I get??? I want to roll through the city here in Austin Texas at night with the lights, and during the day without the lights. I’d imagine a smaller wheel is probably better for the evenings and in a city scape. I’m looking at the power slide brand so far. But again, I’d love some feedback and suggestion from those of you with much more experience. Thanks!
I know your post is 2 months old. Did you buy any skates yet? I had some trouble finding fitting new skates recently. Now I am proud owner of Powerslide Next Mustard 3x125. Additionally I ordered an 3x125 speed frame for marathon skating. When you research for buying skates, consider always looking for the fitting type of the boot. Powerslide has at least 3 options. Performance, Comfort and some other. I needed to buy a pair that is 2 sizes above my normal shoesize to have an comforting fit. Good luck and let me know when you have any questions.
Do you think it’s a good idea to change out the spacers depending on when you’re skating? I am wondering if I will use mine all the time or switch them out with different wheels also
That T-shirt for patrons looks killer! Is it hand painted or printed? Had no clue they made big wheel luminous . I had 80 mm setup and gave them away as they feñt slow. Your explanation with more inertia makes sense. Still, the yellow LEDs of my 80 mm wheels was more beautiful ;). Great review!
Hand-painted T shirt 😁. There would be other plans for merch, but let's first see if it's worth going forward. Thanks and glad you enjoyed the clip 🤜🏻🤛🏻
You might want to change the title of the video slightly to reflect the fact that you're "Testing the Luminous White Glow skate wheels" (or something like that). It would have made finding your video much easier. By the way, I've got the same wheels (in 90 mm though) and love them! Much brighter than my Powerslide Fothon Magic, I'd say.
They're pretty massive, Pobz. Just saw now that this exact model is also available as a 125 mm, so if you want even bigger LED wheels there is an option 😂🤜🏻🤛🏻
I've got to ask, are they truly white or are they more of a Celeste/Cyan? All the videos I've seen of them seem to have a very light blue glow almost Tron-esque
They have a slight green hue from the fluorescence, but I would truly say they're white. At least that's what my eyes see. The camera does pick it up blue Tronesque as you say.
I have the 125 mm version. When they glow, it's pure white...but with bigger wheels, the LED gap between the wheel is noticeable. It's not noticeable if you are rolling fast though :)

where do you buy Luminous for 110 mm
What bearings do I buy for the 120mm wheels?
Oh good. I’m thinking of getting them for my own Phuzion Argon Syncro 110s aswell.

Very informative! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on luminous wheels.
Glad you enjoyed it, skate lover! Would want to gety hands on the RB moonbeam wheels just to compare the two manufacturers. Have a great Sunday!
Great tip on putting a new bearings in
