Hearing Technoblade talk about Greek mythology so passionately was what I found so endearing, he truly was a god himself when you think about it. RIP Technoblade, Technoblade never dies in our hearts ❤
Gilgamesh being a 2/3 demigod isn't because they messed up the math its just because he was so divine he had 2/3 divine blood not the traditional 1/2 divine blood of the Greeks, Gilgamesh was Mesopotamian so its different for him
Let's all just say farewell to the best youtuber that made us happy during bad days and making our days and he will never die becuase he is always in our hearts and becuase TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES!!!
I really like Greek Mythology- so I'm just putting down a bit of what I know from the top of my head lol 2:02 Athena Aphrodite and Hera 3:11 He picks Aphrodite. Hera offered him the blessing of luck, bountiful harvests and large families. Athena offered him wisdom and the success of many battles. Aphrodite told him she'd make him prettier- which is what he was all about in the first place, so not much of a competition. 6:53 The river god Achelous wanted revenge on Heracles. The god told Heracles' wife that centaur blood would keep a husband faithful, she was having doubts of his monogamy (Heracles basically cheated on her every second hour, but that's not the point right now). So the wife spread the centaur's blood on the inside of his coat. The truth is that centaur's blood is actually a really potent poison, and gave Heracles a moderately slow and painful death.
If I recall correctly, it was actually a centaur who was killed by Hercules who was offering his no longer needed blood to Hercules's wife. What he didn't mention was the reason he was dying was because of the poisonous blood in Hercules's arrows, which mixed with his own blood. So when Hercules's wife made a coat with the centaur's blood smeared on the inside of it and had Hercules wear it, it was like dumping hydrochloric acid onto his torso.
Theres a flaw in techno's speech, Theseus had made the king commit die due to not changing the sail on his boat, makimg the king think he waas dead. Theseus had also kidnapped 12 year old, Helen of troy to wait until she was of legal age. And lastly, he almost got killed by hades for helling his friend steak his wife, only to be saved by Heracles later. So really, Thesues is no hero. Hes a neutral, though yes he shouldn't have been exiled. And yes, he is still a greek hero and hero of athens. And all of what he did was considered acceptable at the time, i just kinda thought i should say it.
This has been helping me cope with the news..I used to listen to this on loop for hours until I knew the stories by heart to recite them to others Rest in peace, King

You must be fun at parties (kinda seriously)
I totally read all that.
Reading this late at night after doing math all day and I have to admit I’ve read this over 10 times and I still can’t understand this. I did to much stuff for college math today you killed me
"They didn't use Discord back then, they used Skype"
Lmao, boomer.
Hearing Technoblade talk about Greek mythology so passionately was what I found so endearing, he truly was a god himself when you think about it. RIP Technoblade, Technoblade never dies in our hearts ❤
RIP
this is literally the best compilation thank u for this
Gilgamesh being a 2/3 demigod isn't because they messed up the math its just because he was so divine he had 2/3 divine blood not the traditional 1/2 divine blood of the Greeks, Gilgamesh was Mesopotamian so its different for him
He's just built different
it's because he could tell the difference between salt and sugar
@@youknowihadtodoittoem3579 its because he told God's to fuck off and it kinda worked.
Wasn't he like 2/3 god because of some weird belief that if someone helps during birth they have some sort of claim/influence over the child?
Technoblade, the Demisemihemidemisemi God
THE BLOOD GOD
1/32th of a God = pog
pog for the blood god
Im pretty sure thats some type of music note
that just sounds like a quasi god but with more steps
Let's all just say farewell to the best youtuber that made us happy during bad days and making our days and he will never die becuase he is always in our hearts and becuase TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES!!!
After techno's passing
We will tell his legacy for the next 3,000 years now
12:10 "Of course I don't suffer from hubris, because hubris is a flaw, and I am perfect!"
This is even funnier to me because Dream has said he read and enjoyed the Percy Jackson books before
As much as I don’t really like dream I’m happy that he likes Percy Jackson
I really like Greek Mythology- so I'm just putting down a bit of what I know from the top of my head lol
2:02 Athena Aphrodite and Hera
3:11 He picks Aphrodite.
Thank you, I was looking for this comment
I thought Aphrodite promised Paris the most beautiful woman in the world or something like that.
@@Vivian19739 that might've been it- this is all just from the top of my head lol
Maaan heracles/hercules really learned from his dad
If I recall correctly, it was actually a centaur who was killed by Hercules who was offering his no longer needed blood to Hercules's wife. What he didn't mention was the reason he was dying was because of the poisonous blood in Hercules's arrows, which mixed with his own blood. So when Hercules's wife made a coat with the centaur's blood smeared on the inside of it and had Hercules wear it, it was like dumping hydrochloric acid onto his torso.
I will come back to these videos every time i miss him. That'll be alot...
TECHNO BLADE NEVER DIES in my heart and the fans he has
Theres a flaw in techno's speech, Theseus had made the king commit die due to not changing the sail on his boat, makimg the king think he waas dead.
Well, Tommy also did a hell of a lot of things wrong
How is this an edited comment yet still has so many spelling mistakes?
@@ballisticbee6001 because i cant spell, duh
@@notaku2813 yep. I suffer the same lack of spelling ablility.
The best thing about this is the, "Theseus had made the king commit *die* "
My favorite type of techno is mythology teacher techno.
Alternative title: Angry pig has a Greek mythology class
I miss this
This has been helping me cope with the news..I used to listen to this on loop for hours until I knew the stories by heart to recite them to others
Rest in peace, King
Another thing about the Phil myth: instead of just awkwardly asking him to come back and fight after abandoning him, they just beat the shit otta Phil and took the bow lmao
THATS SO FUCKING FUNNY PLS
Must be another case of multiple tellings, I always heard they got a priest of Apollo to heal his foot, so he could kill Paris with the bow.
"they exiled him"
this didn't age well
19:36
Wait, I'm pretty sure Techno has never revealed the names of his siblings
Omg
They were talking about their own brother, not technos. Technos brother he actually revealed. His sisters he hasn’t since they’re a lot younger
21:20 He's so deep into talking about Greek mythology that he completely ignored the sellout timer (It's also probably because he doesn't have the bell)
I wish you were still here Rest In Peace techno and thank you for everything I hope you can make people happy in heaven like you did us fly high king 👑 TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES cause your a LEGEND.
12:07 Hey remember that time when Technoblade ALMOST succeeded at a task, but then just before finishing, he bragged for like 2 minutes, and made fun of the guy saying he would fail? And then when he went to finish the task, he found out that he had indeed failed, all because he spent all that time bragging? Remember that? (I'm talking about the halloween skeleton, if that wasn't clear.)
Hallowed skeleton? When was that?
@@alex2005z Halloween skeleton. As in, a skeleton with a jack 'o' lantern on its head. Happened during a Halloween stream.
"Now they're fleein' "
I read Percy Jackson and then I began learning about mythology, I've learned a lot about Greek mythology, a bit about Egyptian mythology and now im trying to learn about Norse mythology.
Norse is really cool.
@@Nonessentialsquid from what I know so far its very interesting
@@1ovemelllyy I hope you enjoy it
@@Nonessentialsquid mhm,

Technoblade was and forever will be the best Greek Hero
coming back to this to try to feel better about the news. rest in peace techno, you’ll never die in our hearts❤️
"Ya know Zeus is the God of feminism"
I was fucking cackling omg
Thank you, I needed that compilation so bad
I love how Techno hasn’t unpacked his backpack from college
When technoblade becomes a grandpa he's going to start spewing half-correct greek mythology to his grandchildren and anyone who is willing to listen.
yeah…. If only
This... aged badly
“Which mythological hero wasn’t terrible” Achilles. Odysseus. Neither one raped or kids kidnapped women. They just loved someone and wanted to get back to them
I knew about Greek mythology before I even knew the Percy Jackson book series was a thing.
Same
