Enjoying the series very much.
Spent a lot of time myself just coming to terms with all the new crops and which ones to grow for my cattle. I've decide rather than wait months to get a herd I'd stick down another couple of cow sheds and start off with new born calves so I can see all the growth stages they go through and I have 4 months to allow a few of the grass crops to progress before I have to feed anything other than the milk substitute.
Thanks. I did considered starting with calves, but I plan to keep this series short and they'd not have got to the point of having calves and producing milk

Great episode D/S it takes a bit of getting used to the growth stages and the crops look fantastic,fodder carrots 🤦♂️ I did not think and did quite a few what a job 🤣,and I am really enjoying TLP I even remember to rate them today I forgot too excited,to get in the game 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yeah the extra growth stages are a bit of work to get used to, especially with grass.
@@DisTurbedSimulations but the good thing is it that once you cut it it only goes back to growth stage 13 👍👍

I have not included any of the bale mods, because I know TL+ does not support them.
Well done on the modes the only downside is only support for this small maps yards so small the only fault i can find hate this small UK and EU maps

we will need you Mr D; omg this is difficult, now i running pallegney and thuringen and they work fine, got 200+ mods running. just confused about all the kinds of grass there are, just deleted all the mods i had with bales and production and other fill types than the ones used by tl+. also dont know where to start with the mixes, will w8t for yours tutorials; also crop rotation is not working witch is understandable

I am confused as to what I can do with the wet grass. I tried tedding it and it didn't change to hay. I couldn't put it in a silage bunker either.
what setting did you have the tedder on? Grass needs to be at least conditioned to be put in a bunker silo (the same as maize plus)
I am playing on map Eifel, I am trying to make a mix for calves at 4 months dairy, i am having a problem with the cereal protein. I bought one of the cereal protein that it recommends but it does not read as a Protein its putting it in has a Cereal energy it does not matter what grain grist, I have tried all, but they all use has a Cereal energy, I have even used Protein Grist that does not work the mixer does not acknowledge this, just to let you know I only use mods that this map suggest. Cereal Energy and Cereal protein icons are very similar. its very hard to tell. I need some info. why this is happening ? love the detail and terra life maps and mods that they offer.
The mix needs fixing in an update, or you can edit the animal food editions mod to fix the recipe by deleting the duplicated ingredients in the cereal energy

How many days a week are you doing on this save?
1, the 48 weeks is enough with adjusting the clock
@@DisTurbedSimulationsI know they've said Maize Plus animals were "optimized" for three days per month, safe to assume not the same for Terralife Plus then?
@@russellmillett5642 correct. as it's not possible to do three days per month with Terralife plus. The game has been change to be in weeks, with 4 weeks per months. You can chose between 1 and 7 days per week but that's down to personal choice and play style.
@@DisTurbedSimulations oh yeah, I know it's been changed from weeks to months. Meant more-so if the animal feeding/production was still optimized for the three days per, but it sounds like we should be good to go with just one day per week. Thanks!
