I just made these! It was the first time I’ve ever made them from scratch, and everyone loved them!! My little 4-year-old granddaughter said to tell you, “Those are good, Miss Tammy!” I followed your instructions to a T, and they turned out perfect! My older son said they were better than any he had ever had! Love all your recipes! It’s the kind of food I grew up eating and still do! Thanks again!

When cooking live, I actually prefer to see cooks in a natural environment, as we all cook, lol which is all over the place 🤣🤣🤣 I am all over the place when I cook, so to me you appear natural in your kitchen environment 😜 I love the recipe and dinner you made. I also enjoy the fact that your husband actually helps you. To me that is awesome 👍 Thank you for sharing this recipe and video with us ☺️ God Bless you 🙏

A few years ago, you taught me to make biscuits (cast iron skillet). No one had ever been able to do that, even in-person teaching. I tuned in about a minute after you started this video. I love HOW you explain what you are doing and WHY. I need to visit more often! I look forward to making these tenders. Thank you so much for a free printout of the recipe. PS Like y'all, I don't like onions in my squash and would rather have desert than bread.

I 💙 buttermilk chicken 🐔 fingers!! My granny taught me how to season them and let them hang out in buttermilk until 30 minutes b4 cooking time! She makes them just like you do! It must be a southern style and I'm completely fine 🙂 with that! The chicken 🐔 fingers are full of flavor from the buttermilk and seasonings! My granny would make her cream potatoes 🥔 using milk, butter 🧈 and Duke's mayo 😋! So delicious 😋!! She would sometimes fry up okra or squash coated in flour/corn starch mixture & cut them round shape and they were so delicious. Lightly cooked n seasoned with salt and a pinch of blk pepper. So delicious 😋!! I know I keep saying delicious alot but it is 😆 I can't help it.
Thank you for keeping it southern style homemade cooking 🍳! We love ur video's and ur recipes. We enjoy spending time with you and Mr. Chris! I hope you guys are having a great New Year 2023! Stay safe & be extra cautious with covid/strep A & the flu spreading around US again. I know i caught it in Oct around Halloween 🎃 and I missed Thanksgiving and Christmas due to being very sick. I couldn't shake it for two whole months. It was horrible.

Unlike the two of you, I'm one of those that will opt for the onions in the squash, and breads over dessert, but I think that's part of the beauty of cooking and baking. The options are endless. I so appreciate watching the two of you work together to accomplish something so wonderful, and your confidence in just being yourselves. That's a blessing.

I'm not new to cooking. But am new to frying. I cleaned and seasoned my OLD frying pans that I got from my mother and her mother..I've fried chicken tenders from Brenda Gantt's recipe.very good,!. Just found yours and really want to make yours too QUESTION. Do I throw out the oil after each frying? Start next frying recipe with new fresh oil? That's really expensive. Cant remember what my mother did. (I'm almost 74!) I've heard of 'cleaning,' oil. How would one go about doing that. How would you store the oil? How many times can oil be used,? We've had a very warm winter in Virginia. Getting spring fever and thinking about summer veggies. Your chicken tenders, fresh sliced tomatoes and just picked corn on the cob. YUM!

To test oil, you can use a toothpick or wooden spoon. If you see tiny bubbles, your oil is ready to go. Wooden spoons/utensils hold water when we wash them and that's what creates the bubbles. 👍

Oh my goodness...I can't wait to make this!!! I do have both of your cookbooks and they are amazing!!! But...I must ask you...is my husband there filming this? LOL My husband is a good cook or his specialties, such as the best homemade BBQ Sauce, BBQ Brisket that just absolutely falls apart it's so tender and baby back ribs. He's pretty good at other things but the things I mentioned above...he is absolutely a master at. On other things....I beat him hands down but for some odd reason, he is constantly telling me how to do it. Why do men do that???? LOL I just about spit my teeth out when you got your dig in by saying that next time maybe he'll quit telling you how to do it. Priceless. LOL
