Greatest show of all time. There will never be another one like it again
@@kingy002 Shut up. Get a job.
I ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!! He reminds me of my dad sometimes and I love him so much!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m 26 and from Canada!!!!!
And hope you are well! There will never be another like this show again :’( !!!!!!
They'll never make another one like this again. This show tested our boundaries while encapsulating the turbulence of conflicting generations. This was going on in families all across the country.
@@jessebella9901 social science fiction comedy...genius

It IS the greatest show of all time. 😅

O’Conner never ceases to amaze me with his delivery and his facial expressions! He was so great!
Agreed and thank God this role didn't go to Mickey Rooney which was the first pick...
The greatest character in sitcom history. He made you believe he was an actual person we were watching. What an actor!!!
Caroll O'Conner had such a gift for comedic acting. Today's sitcoms just don't measure up. Those were the days.
They would not dare let a show like this be on today no fkn way ask rosanne and she wasn't close to archie not on the same planet! And her cast who she freaking made famous and invented every character slap her in the face not one of them backed her infact they killed her off her own show ! That was the cruelest thing I've ever seen but to a creepy liberal it's just another day! Almost killed rosanne in real life them scumbags and BTW THE CONNORS SUCK!!
... my friend.
Damn right..a hell of an Actor..
This show was so ahead of it's time. Best show ever. ARCHIE RULES!!!!
Arch is right! The IDF takes no prisoners
no matter what anyone says , still the best show ever!!!
Definitely is
How prophetic archie knew his shit what a great show
Utter genius
Love all in the family
??
This was when sitcoms were so hilarious that they had you in tears!
My favourite show ever...
The good ole days
Sally Struthers performed @ the Ogunquit theater a few years ago...southern Maine area
This show was so funny. Carroll O’ Conner was so funny.😂😂 This show was also brilliantly written!
Get me a beer!!!
A few years ago I saw Archie and Edith's chairs in the Smithsonian. I stood two feet away staring at them through a pain of glass for about 10 minutes. It was a surreal experience.
About 60 centimetres
I saw their chairs at the Smithsonian too on a family vacation to D.C as a kid. That was my favorite part of the trip😅😅
Chair looked so old too. RIP Carol O'Connor and Jean Stapleton. Great stage actors. Sad about his son. Sad about his wife too after her died. Awful.
I saw it too I took pictures with my cellphone. When I got a new cellphone all my pictures didn't all get downloaded.
"Take a bus to jersey and see sinatra"...omg I nearly pissed myself laughing
If they couldn't scratch up the airfare to go see the Pope.
Imagine watching this episode during prime time television at night.

That was a great show. Archie had the best jokes and wisecracks. He was great. Loved watching that show 😍.
Great writers. Great cast. Acting on stage is the best.
@@GOLDENFLYWARRIOR I was growing up in the 1970's. I loved that show. The whole cast was great 😍. Thanks 👍.

I'm Jewish and not only not offended but in a fit of laughter
Why would you be be offended. We gave y'all a whole country....That WE still pay for.

He is right about 1 thing...when Israel is pissed off whoa Be un to whoever gets in their way
top Jewish CBS executives thought Carroll O'Connor was real bigot.
I'm a bald headed 70 yr old but I used to be a hardheaded kid and I'm trying to get offended but rite now I'm laughing
I was a kid in the 70s and remember my Dad saying, "Wheat for Russia"! Archie just said it too!
Brad Garrett, who played Raymond's brother Robert, was interviewed by Larry King and asked his favorite sitcom of all time:. AITF, he said. You could say anything, if your character was lovable enough. O Connor was brilliant!
He was absolutely correct
Best show hands down! Archie was ignorant, but he also had his limits!
Carroll O'Connor and Jean stapelton are two icons. Never be a comic duo like them rest in peace 🙏 Carroll O'Connor and Jean stapelton. God bless them.
Loved her as Nana Silverberg on Murphy Brown.
I agree! I’m still laughing at it thirty some years later!😆
Can't imagine this brilliant show coming out in 2021.
This show was epic
He nailed it. Everyone has someone like this in their family.
"Jerry Ford is doing a helluva job for someone nobody voted for."
Nobody voted for Trump, either!
@@Cjnw Actually 2/3 of the country voted for Donald Trump. NOBODY voted for Joe Biden, except Big Tech, All of Mainstream Media, George Soros's Open Society Foundation, NEA, Black Lives Matter, Hollywood, Disney, Viacom, Comcast, and all the other leftist online media outlets, that pretty much own America.
I not only voted for Trump in 2016, I voted for Trump in 2020 and the MEATHEADS stole the election. MEATHEADS. 😠
@@Cjnw - And nobody voted for Biden.
@@newyorkfan16 Wonder what Archie would have said about George Soros, being a rich Jewish commie?
Great show
47 years later and Jimmy Carter is still alive and kicking.
And Archie was right to be suspicious of him!
The one there now makes Carter look competent.
i forgot how funny these episodes were. im crying with laughter. the part about the "Roos-kies", wheat n peanut butter...😂😂😂😂😂 masterful writing and top notch delivery by A. Bunker!!!
Grew up with these shows ,enjoying them now more than ever.
I love this show! Always have and always will
Just love this comedy!😂
Absolutely classic 🎯🔔⭐️💗I’m now 57 and remember well 💗🦋
wow...sounds like 2020..and this is from 1976!!
Used to watch this when I was a kid with my dad and thought it was the funniest most truthful show on TV - and we are NOT 'White'!!
Always priceless 😅
Lol!!! "Kicketh the crapola outta ya".
Keith Garland 😂so funny.
He is right..the Israeli military doesntt eff around
That was so funny how he delivered that line
The Sinatra joke was hilarious. This was Archie's funniest moment.
The Jewish joke was a lot more funny
All along Archie was right!!
Time has proven that.
@@tommytruth7595 LOL Archie was a beloved bigoted schmuck. I am sure that's what your Mommy, brain-damaged though she is, loves about you.
Koletti, Pearass, what kind of Commie name is that???
When you grow up you’ll realize Archie was right, Meathead was a sissy, soy boy.
(Kinda like you)
@Koletti Pireaus Spot on. Nice to see someone has critical thinking skills.
Oh geez where do you people come from? The whole point of AITF was to poke fun at conservative ideologies, mostly by making a laughingstock of Archie. You're like people at a circus mistaking the clown for a philosopher. I bet you watch movies like Goodfellas and think it's encouraging joining the mafia.
Archie's right about the beer. That much head is sacrilegious!
"I't loses so much through the airrrr" LMAO
Chris Thornycroft He Should have Back handed that bitch 50s style for that Shit!!
I cringed when I saw the glass was half head. Edith couldn’t even pour a beer correctly. What a dingbat!
Depends on the beer style, really.
And Archie was also right about Jimmy Carter.
Haha, literally LOL. I laughed so hard I woke up my family :)) What a brilliant TV show!!!!!
Eventually “Gerry” Reagan became President in a Landslide in 1980.
And again in 1984, beating out Carter's former VP.
@@erikbunty2016
Well at least Mondale’s running mate(Geraldine Ferraro) made history that year as the very first woman to run for office.
I have the complete series on DVD but still love watching these clips. Archie always makes me laugh. “Regular Americans” and the National Enquirer, which Archie believed was always truthful. 😂
To think, Mike is still a meat head to this day in real life
It is as if Rob Reiner wasn't even acting.
AMEN!!!! I didnt realize how many other people realized that.
The fact that he is award-winning Director and a brilliant man obviously doesn’t mean anything to you but the fact that he has different political beliefs upsets you and you choose to love a guy that was caricatured on the show as satire. Sadly many people don’t realize although Archie Bunker was a brilliant character , they were trying to make fun of him exposing his racism and his small mindedness. At the core of it he was a sweet man but he held some pretty bad beliefs. Meathead was part of the counter culture and if you watch the show his views change as he got older as many of the so-called hippies became yuppies in the 80s. Is Rob Reiner a liberal yes but Archie bunker is not somebody to look up to.
And Pat doesn't realize that Archie Bunker is meant to make fun of conservatives.
@@factsdontlie4342 He was totally holding back busting out laughing at Carols delivery of his lines too.
A beer a beer a beer!!!
Will always love this show
It took me for years to understand on how funny he really is.
When he called Edith"Lucrecia Borgia." 2:22 I'M DEAD!!!!!!🤣
Remember when a “big” scandal back then was because Jimmy Carter’s brother Billy drank beer??? They even had a “Billy Beer” out for awhile!! Edith is just like my mom and Arch reminds me of my dad Bob who died in 2018. RIP dad I love you!

Archie just spoke his mind, I think it was out of ignorance but he also had a very big heart and was very loving. That's what made his character very lovable. Big lesson to learn
I loved this show and still do!😆😆👍
Archie Bunker, Barney Fife, Sgt. Vince Carter, Cosmo Kramer: The four best characters ever on television sitcoms.
Let's add Fred Sanford and George Jefferson to that list.
Lol, Jimmy Carter is 96 and still has his teeth
Archie is the G.O.AT The man I Love to Hate.... and I mean that in a good way!!
Don’t worry Archie, it’s worse now in 2020😞
And '21 is even worse than 2020 was!
And still worst in 2021
Canal boats, only AHHHH CHEE could bark out something so original! 😂
Excellent!
Be nice to have these back on tv early evenings
Archie was an unsung American hero. He was a ww2 vet, worked a job to support himself, his wife, Gloria and the meathead
Agree...while the show mocked Archie mercilessly, deep-down we loved him and despised the Meathead. Why? Because it's more important to do the right thing than say or think it. On balance, Archie did the right think more than Mike.
nicholas schroeder ...brother, you said it
@@nicholasschroeder3678
"Archie did the right thing more often than Mike"?? Since when does criticising everyone who HE deemed "inferior" every two minutes "the right thing"??
Are you brainwashed tRumpanzee clowns much too busy trying to "own the libs" to realize that Carrol O'Conner would rise up like Lazarus if he heard anybody saying "Archie was right"??
Nick Dipaolo brought me here. And I'm not disappointed
Did you ever notice how meathead always felt entitled to live off archie? He's still the same,
He has always been dead from the neck up.
To his credit, though, he was studying to become a sociology professor, and Gloria was working to help put him through school, so it wasn’t like he was just being a bum. Only it was irresponsible at the end of the series when he abandoned his family responsibilities to join the commune.
The order may be wrong, but on many Saturday nights in the 1970s, you could see these shows back to back on CBS: All in the Family, MASH, Bob Newhart, and Carol Burnett. Gee those WERE the days!
@kevin lawrence Well, Kevin, I'm with you concerning "Barney Miller" one of my all time faves, but those others I mentioned weren't bad, either.
Must see TV.
Archie is my Hero!
Archie: Between Jerry Ford and Jerry Carter, I know which way I'm going.
Meathead: It's too bad you can't vote for your real favorite, Jerry Reagan.🤣
The show is priceless!
I loved watching All in the Family. Archie was the absolute best,
Archie should be a presidential spokesman.
He's too smart for those idiots.
Just imagine, Carroll O’Connor wasn’t the first choice for Archie Bunker. I had always heard that Mickey Rooney was offered the role first.
Jackie gleason was the first person normam lear asked to play archie bunker.
Im not sure about me mickey rooney, but tom bosley, jack warden, and yes jackie gleason we're all considered for the part of archie bunker.i think carroll o'connor was a good choice,he could make the faces without saying the words.like remember the time Gloria bought edith a pantsuit her and Mike wanted to take archie and edith to dinner, ended up edith went to kelseys bar alone ended up singing and playing piano.then archie walks in starts singing the song then hears whose singing and you know edith's schreeching voice, well archie just stops in his tracks and the look on his 👀 face says it all! Check out that episode.lol 😂😂😂😂
The difference between this show and today's sitcom's ? Every show was a classic......
It all makes sense!
The very best!!
Carroll Oconnor was a hell of an actor in comedy or drama very tallented person
love this one!
The National Enquire lol
Hilarious, Jerry Carter and Jerry Reagan.
if Archie Bunker came in black he would be George Jefferson
Or Fred Sanford.
That show was and is an American classic! You can not, and will not, find anything else on TV ever again!
Agreed!!❤
They would never let a show like this today.
“Just remember, I hate change”
I relate to this so much
Archie “ hates change”.Sounds familiar these days!!
Fascinating watching this in the future....

"kicketh the crapola outta you!" HA!
Archie Bunker and George Jefferson are my favorites
Joey's 45 now and we still don't have administrations that will help people.
