I had a roommate in college who was Chinese. His Dad ran a really good Chinese restaurant in town and we would all cook together and he used MSG on just about everything. It really enhances the taste and just makes flavor POP on your taste buds.
What is MSG?
@@Lolalee87 Monosodium gluconate. It is the secret ingredient in Knorr Suiza and Maggi products. All the good Mexican recipes call for knorr Suiza chicken broth.. but the real flavor is the MSG in it( it’s like the first five ingredients.

If you substitute the plain white flour initial coating for seasoned white flour, and then use your marinade, followed by seasoned white flour again, wouldn't that make the chicken taste better? As opposed to just using plain white flour for the initial coat?
