    Great video. Not much on UA-cam that does a complete walk through on this motor like you did. Thanks!

    That video really makes all the steps clear for the home mechanic who has not done a spark plug change on this vehicle before👍

      It was and because I had to go back in to tighten a spark plug I definitely recommend listening to using a torque wrench

    I have a 2013 Chevy traverse with 107,000 would you recommending doing the plugs and the intake gasket at the same time

    A question friend, I hope you can help me. I need to change the OCV oil control Valve where a 2014 Chevy Traverse is located.

    Good video. Well done. Do you have to set the spark plug gap, or is it pre-set from the factory? What would the gap be if necessary?

    • @ValleyMobileAutomotive
      @ValleyMobileAutomotive  18 днів тому +1

      @@brimet5701 They are factory gapped and are ready out of the box. The bottom of the spark plugs should be protected by a cardboard cylinder.

      @ValleyMobileAutomotive Thanks for your reply. I bought my plugs at the local GM dealership. They were in individual boxes.

    • @ValleyMobileAutomotive
      @ValleyMobileAutomotive  17 днів тому +1

      @brimet5701 When you open the individual boxes there should be either cardboard or plastic cylinders protecting the spark plug electrode from getting bent 👍

    Is it 13 ft lbs or 15 for the plugs?
    I've seen both, just dont know what to settle on

    I’ve read somewhere (don’t remember where) that chrome threaded spark plugs don’t need anti seize. But it definitely doesn’t hurt either.

    • @ValleyMobileAutomotive
      @ValleyMobileAutomotive  2 місяці тому

      @@flyer8493 Yeah some manufactures recommend it and some don't mention it at all. I don't think I've come across one yet that said specifically not to. I like using it but it's up to you 👍

    How likely the gasket manifold would “need” to be changed? Want to buy all parts needed before I tear it all apart being my only available vehicle…

    • @ValleyMobileAutomotive
      @ValleyMobileAutomotive  8 днів тому

      @@shawneberhardt9004 These rubber gaskets are reusable. Most of the time they are still good. They aren't too expensive though and it may feel good knowing they are new.
