This is the issue I am having with my Traverse. The Traction control light comes on, the Service Air Bags, and sometimes it has Engin Power Failure and won’t accelerate. I believe it to be the Throttle Body so I will check it out. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks man. I followed your instructions. Cleaned out the throttle body with the correct spray. It started up and there was no reduced engine power. The engine light was still on so I took off the positive battery terminal and put back on and that cleared out the engine light. Drives better than ever.

I never would have associated the Service Traction Control error to the Throttle Body or Throttle Position Sensor. Stupid programming in my opinion. I did this Throttle Body cleaning yesterday and so-far our Traverse is running fine again. I didn't actually have any throttle body or carburetor cleaner handy so I used starting fluid. I cleared the error codes and we're good to go. Thank you for this video!

I had no issues with mine. As part of maintenance I cleaned everything and the oily filter area he showed , drove fine. Decided to do a seafoam on the intake and it now shows this message.
i randomly tried this because my stabilitrak kept randomly coming on and messing my car up. I was desperate for a solution and only thing i could do was push the traction control off before driving and even then it wouldn’t fix it all the time. There was barely any grease on the sensor or on the throttle intake. But i sprayed the sensor cleaning stuff on both, wiped it off really good. And so far it hasn’t came back on at all. So i’m hoping it’s a permanent fix, and if it is - thanks for this video! ❤️

OnStar was connected to these cars now OnStar is discontinued it's services to cars older than 2013 the system on these car are unable to read ECM.....Chevy owe us owners some money in my opinion

I have a trailblazer that says service traction control, I don’t have any reduced engine power and I cleaned the throttlebody with throttlebody cleaner, I still have service traction control, any thoughts?
Well, I'm still having trouble with my 2012 chevy traverse, cleaned the throttle and so what. The contraction service light is on and stabilitrak.

So if I do this my light will go off that came on right after we did the brakes and that is now on my dash and it says traction control and stabilizer bar never seen it but one time before this but went off now it won't and plus my ABS light came on to

I have a 2014 traverse that the throttle continues to advance at start. The rpm’s run up really quick. I shut it down it and so far starts correct the second try. Any ideas what this could be?

I have a 2012 Chevy Traverse LS and my issue is that the brakes always tighten up when I’m on a hill or on the interstate. I literally have to pull over and wait for the brakes for hours to loosen up yet the Stabilitrak light pops up as well as the ABS light.
Did you have to relearn throttle body
I have a 2010 Traverse that died while driving it. The display says traction control off and it won't start. It will run on starting fluid but that's it. I've checked fuses and replaced the fuel pump and confirmed fuel to the Schrader valve at the engine but still won't start. Any help????
Starter my 16 traverse last night. The whole car was shaking the engine was sounding weak. The Lights came on saying traction control disable, then Stability message came on along with the light.
Let it idle for a few minutes, restarted it and was fine. But light was still on. Would this help fix the issue as well?
did this on my 2015 taverse and now my ABS / Stabilitrak / Traction Control lights are gone, but i am getting brake pedal vibrations/jumping like i have a worn rotor. anyone have any ideas? is this an ABS issue? could be a rotor issue but this only started happening right after cleaning out the throttle body
i cleaned mine out couple days ago changed right front strut and now I have service traction and stabilizer light on the dash im confused why this happened any help would be appreciated thanks 👍
It found out that there are several issues which cause the ECM to shut down traction control and reduce power to 3 cylinders. It looks like chevy installed a safety protocol that is too sensitive and will shutdown on the slightest error signal. The wheel sensor in my Traverse kept shutting the system down.
I did this and it worked for a while, but the issue is now back and im pissed off. Took this all apart again and throttle body and plenum still clean. i might try the TPS
If you clean it like you said and it works will the warning lights that come up go away on its own?
If that's your only issue then it should after driving about 10miles.

That’s oil from the engine that’s in there it gets in there from that small tube that is connected to the part that connects your TB to the air box. Being that these vehicles (07-13) are prone to timing chain issues i do my own oil changes every 4000 miles and clean that oil from that part every time so it does not build up to the point of becoming an issue
what year Chevy Traverse my air filter box is all one piece can't separate it. My throttle body looks very clean not sure what is going on service traction control and stability lights are on the dashboard

It's also you break pedal sensor that's what fixed mine it's Under $30 dollars
My 2013 Chevy Traverse LT turns the TC light on and reads Service Stability Track and Service Traction Control. We have not cleaned the throttle yet. Is this simple to do myself or should I have a mechanic do it? The suv runs normal I don't feel any difference but it's concerning when I'm driving and it turns on. If anyone with the same situation please advise if you solved the problem. TIA
Mine keeps having Stabiltrak come on and car won’t get power again to start. Jumping it won’t even help. We changed fuses on ECM too.

That's crazy, cause on my Silverado.I don't have to do all that Must be a manufactured default..
I got these alerts after I changed my struts and got it realigned. No change in power at all. i tried this method in your video and no change. Was told to remove the negative battery terminal which i did and that still didn't fix it. Now what?
That's not my issue. My issue is while I'm driving the vehicle the brake is pressing down causing the stablizertrak service traction control light to come on . I'm steady having to pull the brake back up with my feet. To keep the light from coming on
Mines says same thing, and shakes hitting bumps, and no control in the rain . What suggestions could be the issue?
Your traction control sounds like it needs to be serviced.
