- Here's a video of Jen following Norm around the Orange County Guitar Show! Norm goes to Nerville and talks with Joe Bonamassa about his collection he brought to the show. He gambles for a book, finds a model wearing our hoodie and shows off some of the guitars he bought! Make sure to stop by the store to see all the goodies from the show!
Joe seems like a real cool approachable guy. Not many folks of his caliber would be at a public show like this just hanging out, sharing his stash and mingling with people. Real stand up guy!
rustylanier he's a great player sometimes a too refined for me but man he wins me over with his love of guitars and music history
Norm's the kind of guy that you would enjoy paying double for a guitar and then get home and ask yourself "what did I just do?"
Joe Makes money making music still puts a cardboard sign selling t shirts for $20 love it
yeah .... loved that !!!
Dylan Tkagut w
I'd buy the sign! haha.
and michelle sells sea shells by the sea shore for $10 love it
Dylan, does he really need a fancy sign for that?
Well....I definitely enjoyed it!...Thanks for sharing Norm, Joe and Jen!
Charity starts at home. You're a good man Joe Bonamassa. Best of luck!
I had no idea so happy b day Norm.
I love all the videos especially when you are out buying guitars. Having Joe in the video is just a plus.
About 5 years ago, went to one of those _"Come to the Holiday Inn this Saturday and we'll buy your old and vintage musical instruments"_ shows with a buddy of mine. He had an ES-125 DC (fat body, double pickup, cutaway) just like the one here only it was a few years older and _not_ like new. The sides had 1 or 2 cracks (nothing too bad). He sold it to them for $700.
love the random stories you get from these videos
I love Joe Bonamossa more and more as he gets older. He's turned into a really nice and cool guy.
Just cant get enough of your vids Norm; here's hoping ( from here in Belfast) I can come to the shop in person sometime. Note to self: leave the credit card at home that day!
Good Guy Joe! still humble and down to earth! gotta love this guy!
Love Bonamassa love his old school approach to his music , great guy great music
Happy Birthday Norm ! Thanks for another great episode...!
Norman ...Happy Birthday from Canada ... Joe B is amazing player and only from America could you find such beautiful vintage guitars .....Thanks for posting and great people hereCheers Alberta Dave
When Bonamassa redecorates his bathroom he's gonna put frets on the toilet seat.
Achilles could be fretless though...
JoshMetal316 But then that would ruin the joke, wouldn't it?
Achilles too late I already lol'd hard
And a tailpiece for the flush handle. Only fitting for a toilet.....
Bob L Maple with dot inlays, or...?
Joe, Norm, you guys are awesome! Thanks for sharing. I know a handful of chords and still play my '72 SG Deluxe I've had since 76. Playing guitar is like sex. You don't have to be good to enjoy it.
Norm and Joe seem so nice and genuine.
I love Joe Bonamassa, but quite often when not onstage he has this look like he just farted and you are walking up to him. :)
hahahahaa
TheDaddy135 lol wtf!
He looks like he was up all night snorting white lines.
Tox, nerdville white guy blues.
All overpriced hyped up nonsense! I have owned some old Strats. All pretty much ordinary guitars. Nothing special. I would rather have an 80's Kramer Baretta. In flip flop blue of course!
pedestrian stuff...... that must mean stuff for us mere mortals. ☺
the unwashed masses. . . I'm playing a Mexican Strat. . .
You really can tell that Norm and Joe are really close friend's .... It's really cool to just watch these guys ramble on ...... Love your show Norm 😁 🍻 cheers
There's a fine line between collecting and hoarding!
Exactly these people r hoarders... Guitars should be played not kept in the case and never played.
I hate Joe Bonamasa. I wish there was a UA-cam setting to block anything that has his goofy face
Norm i'm making it a mission to visit your store and hopefully pick me up a nice strat. I love what you do and i'm in San Bernardino so i'm not too far. Keep doing you brother !
Norm you make dreams come true. Such wonderful blessings
Norm would have to argue that and say no he doesn't make dreams come true he make some money
I want that SG. Wow. Beautiful guitars... Thx for sharing.
The guy creepin' behind Norm and Joe (3:33) is my favorite part of this video.
HI Joe, I Understand too well about having to sell a guitar to pay rent. I had to sell my Deluxe Gold top from the early 70's And I was never able to replace it because every time I started to the price went up and I settled for something else. I'm VERY Proud of you Man and I Love your Music.
Had to go back and check out that Feels so Good solo again after all these years. Yes sir that was some tasty playing alright. Hadn't heard that in years.
I came across Norman's Rare Guitars UA-cam Channel, mid-2017. Now I am a subscriber and regular viewer. This is top draw UA-cam, profiling talent from pre-teens to veterans.
250,000 subscribers likely by summer 2019, will be well deserved.
(Sent from a subscriber living in British Isles)
Norm's one of those guys that gets better and better looking he older he gets.
Joel is the heart, soul and twisted carbuncle of this channel!
Stop Bar tailpiece drawer handle, omg that's awesome.
Beautiful merchandise. Thanks
Joe is just a great guy from Upstate NY. Very midwestern feel in Upstate. Decent, honest, no attitude, real people and Joe is all of that.
That's great! Enjoyed!
Joe and Norm are in guitar heaven!
We're always lucky. Having a guitar at all is a freakin bonus! 😁
Nice.Lots of goodies.
That 67' Maple Cap Neck Blonde Tele is my dream. Fav Tele!
This video is dead sweet. You guys seem like best friends
I wish there's a lot more famous people like JB in this world who cares about others especially the homeless people, that is just so kind and generous thing to do. The world we live in today, it's just so sad that we have more than enough greedy, selfish and self-centered people...God bless Joe Bonamassa for caring and doing this humanitarian thing for the needy.
I like the ashtray covers over the Strat bridges, never seen that before.
The10000lbGorilla late 50s early 60s
Happy Birthday Norm!
Joe and Norm are 2 ultra grounded great guys. America is in short supply of guys like these.
Thanks Norm I've become a regular watcher of Norm's Rare Guitars. You've introduced me to Joe Bonomasson and others that stir the blood. I have a guitar and a ukulele and can play neither. Can we get the Norm's Rare Guitars tops in the UK?
Grant was right, Norm's got the stuff.
Great video!
I love Joe and Norm.
Hilarious.. Joe is so funny. Thanks Norm & Jen.
Great post as always. I think Malmsteen buys the similar Strats as Joe but gets or makes them scalloped necks...if I recall correctly. The Coral sitar was cool...I guess you didn't buy that? Do they even make those anymore?
Happy Birthday, Norm!
just think you could buy a home for a family with each one of those guitars. kinda hard as a past collector i get it, but at the same time in my life now i get more joy from helping others out. I have two pre cbs fenders one jag with orginals one jag with burst buckers 63 and 63
5:40 look how excited that kid is to see his hero
Thats awesome.
This is awesome :)
Joe Bonamassa - you ARE fuckin' nuts! In a very very cool way. The world is very much a richer place for having you in it.
Great stuff Norm lad. Cheers big ears. ;)
Joe is so awesome
Norm's got the stuff!👍🎸 😉⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Joe has worked his ass off. He deserves all his success.
the amount of guitars Norm stocks~ "CHERRY" 50's & 60's blow's me away... well, that's the business he's in so He's the Man
12:58 That Gibson ES is awesome! I'd love to know what price.
I like Joe's "Straight Outta Compton" T-Shirt!!
Love the Joel W photo bomb. That dudes a character
OMG! When I saw that signboard in a recent Reverb.com video on Joe I thought they made it up in computer. So, it's not computer graphics!!
Anybody know what kind of jacket Joe is wearing?

Norm seems like such a gentleman
LOL... Joe B is a funny guy.. Very Coooooooool.. Love that Les Paul SG...!!

Good stuff!
Grant Is one of the best and maybe best player playing today
Joe is a hero!
Harry Stone why is he a hero? I've been watching the guy since he's 12. He's a great guitarist and very awkward. Why is he a hero?

Is Norm going to go shopping? First half of video is Norm and Joe talking about kitchen remodeling.
Wonder what happened to the SG Elvis played in one of his movies, Viva Las Vegas?
That'd be worth something, Norm,😉👍
The most I ever spent on guitar is $500 for a 76 Les Paul in 1990 .. that was a lot of money back then .

Hey Norm, How about some Dan Armstrong Ampeg guitars. Be cool to see some
You are a good guy Joe
Does Joe B get a cut of Norm's sales? Cuz he should.
WOW Norm, Send me an extra large t shirt and you WON'T have to hire me to wear it. I can't wait to see your store. I'm saving money first BEFORE I come.
The guy in the back at 3:35 😂😂 hell nah
Chuck Mangione - Feels So Good refernce!! Seriously!!??!!! Chuck Mangione is why I started playing trumpet in fourth grade (c.1975) Well,....Feels So Good, and guitar wasn't available at my school. Hi Norm!
Beautiful stuff there. Send that 335 to Ireland please :)
I WONDER IF HE BOUGHT THE MARY KAY FROM HERSON JOHN KAYE ?
No problem with his vision lolol 🎸🎸🎸
14:33 Those late 62 ebony block SLes Paul G's have never been reissued, They have a better tremolo than the earlier 61 and 62s and look cool as hell - only about 6 months of those produced. KILLER guitar....
I think Joe and I could get along purty well. What he doesn't mention, his guitar/amp buying is his 401K. He's not stupid.
Joe........get some adult supervision. lol lol lol lol
