You missed the heated stearing wheel since the ver 1.5 update it has 3 levels of regen, one pedal driving, V2L and if you dont like all the safelty bings & bongs can now set a shortcut to disable a number things with just a swipe down on the screen
Why do UK reviewers now use metric units for torque but still use imperial units for power? Can we either bring back torque in Lbft or move to metric for power too?
I’m sorry, it’s not a Smart car, it’s another expensive two ton Chinese washing machine with overstated range. We’ve had two Smarts, a 451 and currently a 453 900cc turbo. Their ethos is small, nippy, extremely manoeuvrable (smallest production car turning circle), Tardis like interior and a fun, economical and affordable car for city driving. This is none of those things. Which Smart owners will be able to afford a car that starts at £35,000 plus? Or indeed would want to. I was loaned one of these when my Merc went in for service and I found it bland, annoying and in no way like a Smart car. You can keep it, thank you.
the problem with the micro cars like smartfortwo is that they were selling them only in huge cities like rome, paris etc. not economically sustainable for them. they had to change to survive. vast majority of people preferred cars that could give them the possibility to travel with 4 persons
yeah the normal version is meh. mostly because of those horrible alloy wheels. but try the brabus version in matte grey and red finishes like calipers and spoilers. absolutely beautiful car. very nice look. it is not expensive. there is simply no car in the market with such equipment, quality and performance. for the same level, you usually have to pay 15000k more
To open the tailgate you press the middle of the A in Smart, it's a button....

On first impressions it looks bland and overpriced the colour doesn’t do it any favours at all

I think you will find the horrible wheels are plastic trims that can be removed to reveal nice alloys 😂
