I have noticed that people who are dogmatic in their reactionary beliefs shut down when they’re unable to give a cogent reply about a political issue.

Personally I think we're entering a really dark period of America that (assuming the country makes it through in one piece) will have a lot of similarities to the late 1800s to early 1900s (best case) or the 1830s to 1865 (worst case). Either way this is going to last a lot longer than the next 4 years, so we need to be in it for a long haul. Your suggestion to start local is a good one.

I am fine if as a Country we stop all funding to all fueling sources. That means yes we stop all funding to all oil and fossil’s fuels as well. That one step would put EV’s and Gas cars on even playing field. Now granted all republicans would loose any roles in future elections. When petrol goes from $3 average to $15 a gallon, then people will 90% stop buying gas cars and switch to BEV’s. Even hybrids would be out as to expensive to maintain.
I love EVs. Just bought our 5th EV. Been driving EVs since 2011. I am getting tired of anti-EV people and organizations. I have learned that the folks that believe the lies of propaganda don't seem to care about the truth. They are content where they are. They don't know what they are missing. I also know that if you put their butt in an EV for a week or so, they figure out most of the negativity they hear are lies. EV owners need to just offer up free drives or ride along with unbelievers. Experience is the best teacher. Recently I spoke with many different people at recent EV events. EVERY EV owner says the first time someone drives an EV they experience some degree of euphoria. Do your part if you own an EV. Put them in your car and let them drive you around. The experience will not be wasted.
Even if you don't believe in climate change you can't deny the amount of pollution from SUVs that vastly exceeds that from BEVs and the public health impacts of that pollution.

That is a complete nonsequitir. Citizen’s United was a lawsuit decided by the Supreme Court in 2010 and had nothing to do with congress (it _overturned_ congressional action!) OJ Chase happened in 1994. Heck, the _idea_ of a corporate “Super PAC” didn’t even exist until _after_ the Citizen’s United ruling made it possible.

Regardless of the order, the Citizens United story was quickly dropped by the media, which has the same short-term outlook and memory as apparently does the average voter and member of Congress. That decision, bad as it was, left open a mechanism to reinstate campaign finance reform, but when the story went stale, so did pressure on lawmakers. With the current Supreme Court composition, chances of even mild restrictions on corruption- ugh, I mean campaign reforms- are almost nonexistent.
While I appreciate the homework you’ve put into this video, there are many factors and decisions that automakers are trying to influence through congress - not just EV. Asserting that all the PAC activity is aimed at the EV/ICE transition blurs the lines in a way that could be “FUDy”.
But that's what it boils down to. The future of the auto industry/their respective company which is what they are spending the money for. And for Every company it's easier to continue to do what you've always done. Improving costs a lot of money, so they spend money to slow progression down. That's cheaper.
Or courting a particular congressman (or woman) for favorable tax credits on a factory in their district. Or wanting favorable rules on manufacturer liability, or union rules, or dealership leverage, etc. There are literally a thousand things they could want to influence that, while shady, have nothing to do with EVs.

Based on the wild assumption that Trump will enact his policies, we can expect it to rise to about 10% over the next few years. The price of eggs has come down as poultry farmers have built up their stocks again after losing so many to bird flu. I don't expect this to last because a new flu is showing up on some farms.

I am Driving a Plugin HyBrid...and love it. In my Country is this the best option for most people...And I will not start with the Infrastructure, witch is the worst.
- I would like to see more EVs, specially if the normal working person could buy it, use it fore more the 350 km pre charge (Real World) and charge it up without a GIANT HASSEL!
