Thanks for your great show. As a huge Tolkien fan myself, I recommend a biography by Humphrey Carpenter which is an excellent insight into his life. On his wife’s grave he called her “ Tinuviel” when he first heard her singing in a wood not far from where I live. It inspired his Luthien Tinuviel and Beren story.
Her media platform used to be called Fellowship and the King. It used to be wholesome and Christian, but this new thing she does doesn't work. You can't proclaim to be evangelising the culture, and then mix it up with every other creed around. It just gives an anti-Cristian message that all creeds are the same. You can't evangelise the world by confusing people, because they can no longer see the truth. This is was a good platform, but needs to go back to basics. Danny Cote Davies would be an excellent new Editor who could bring this initiative back to life again. Danny understands about sacramental imagination and evangelising the culture (in the true sense of the words), and would present a clear vision, whilst still engaging with the world.
