I am glad you’re doing great and I hope you’re continuing to see explosion in your channel! I started with you very early on, as you may or may not recall. Living in the western suburbs, with my model S plaid hardware 4, just received 12.5.2. 1 a couple days ago.
Wow, they really are solving FSD. Hats off to Elon and his team for making the early decision to stay away from Lidar. If Lidar was part of this system, there would be no way they could have gotten this far.
Questions: 1) can it pull over if a police officer/ambulance turns on sirens? 2) can it recognize hand signs from construction workers? 3)can it safely navigate crowded airport roads? 4) can it safely navigate grocery store parking lots?
With HW3, I would get 12.3.6 on my version of software. I was going to start a subscription, but I thought it better to wait until I could get 12.5.x. I wear sunglasses all the time in the California sun, and 12.5.4 would be worth waiting for.
Can you test 1) If it handles school zone speed limits properly now, 2) If it will still try to pass a school bus that has red flashing lights unloading kids, and 3) if it ramps back up to the set speed limit in the car with minimal delay? I’m constantly stepping on the accelator to get it up to the set speed on FSD 12.5.2.
Re: sunglasses, I assumed that Tesla was working on a way to somehow monitor your eyes even while wearing them, whereas you said that while wearing sunglasses, FSD can only monitor the position of your head. Do you know if that's true? For instance, if you closed your eyes while wearing sunglasses, does FSD 12.5.4 know?
Does your car have the IR-LEDs next to the interior cam? If not it would be interesting to see how it generally works at night with bad visibility and if aftermarket IR-LEDs would improve things. Would be an interesting video for all owners of older Model 3 and Ys
Curious about that little forward animation it makes when it finishes the park. I’ve used auto park lots and never noticed that either, so it’s definitely new.
Lol, I do the same chin thing. However - this is not new, even old pre-hands-free FSD would say "pay attention" and I would lift my chin showing the camera my face :D
I would rather have the nag versus the cabin camera analyzing my eyes. The nag was easy by just pushing the right scroll wheel to the right which changed no settings for the vehicle. Now Tesla controls my head and neck which is annoying. Also makes it more difficult to operate the screen while driving. And yes, for more than 6 years I have safely and successfully looked back and forth while driving to operate the UI screen just as we all did since we all began driving by adjusting knobs for the radio, climate control, looking down briefly at the gauge cluster, etc. while driving our previous non-Tesla vehicles. It is also annoying that I cannot permanently set the car to have minimal lane changes with FSD on. The freakin car wants to change lanes often on the freeway when it isn't necessary or warranted. Even in chill mode it does this. And to have it stop, you need to toggle the button each drive. Why can't I leave it on permanently? I get it... it can change lanes. But I am over it. Makes me miss the old Autopilot where I can make the vehicle change lanes with the indicator when I want it to change lanes.

Im driving across the country now.actually charging in Colorado. This visual system hands free is a POS. You can not wear sunglasses without touching the wheel. Its not a 7 minute drive. Its starts tracking you and every time the screen goes blue it adds points until it strikes you out. I just did this from texas to hear and have two strikes already. Go drive an hour on the freeway then delete this video as its ridiculous.
I force my manager to watch your videos with me at work
You’re providing a valuable service. Thank you, citizen.
Can't wait for the driveway parking test!
Great Video. Thanks for showing the hands free with sunglasses.

You are so good and explaining the mannerisms of the car. I subbed!!!
Currently have a M3P and really can’t wait for a full FSD update.
Whooo, love your videos and the energy you bring!
Avoiding potholes would be really awesome too....

Yes me as well. Seems it was a limited release and pulled but still got it.

Any thoughts on if HW3 cars will get wide release of 12.5.x? I’m anxiously awaiting nag free FSD.
@@jasonberger3227 soon hopefully. I keep asking Tesla to release it.

sunglasses and you close your eyes, will the car know it and warn you?
I'm in chicago. 2020 M3 still 12.3.6
Still on 12.3.6 going on around 3 months now
I’m v12.5.1.5 on my 2023 M3p AI3
Are you sure as it's approaching the front door, as it's still moving, you can't tap on a parking space and it'll park?
Why do you always use the assertive profile and when was the last time you tested the others?
Why do you always use "Assertive"? does it work better? scarier? thanks you
HW3??
Still on 12.3.6. Getting real tired of this update drought
Same! So frustrating

Could you please confirm that the car absolutely cannot see your eyes by wearing a pair of sunglasses that look like one-way mirrors?
Does anyone got version 12.5.+ with AMD Ryzen processor ? I’m still in version 12.4.3. Thank you.
