I just got my holster that I paired with a Ruger LCP Max. I didn't have much trouble drawing my pistol and didn't need to do the."flip" motion to get a good grip. I also didn't have to unbuckle my pants or anything to reholster. Lucky, I guess. But I do love this holster!
If you dig with the thumb of the drawing hand you can get a full grip without the "flip" with the smart carry. You have to have the right tightness of the holster against your front so your thumb wont go behind it. So proper fit and adjustment is necessary, as well as practice of course.
Have you considered mounting a kydex holster into your smart carry like in demonstrated concepts? prior he did this before he moved onto the enigma system.
I’ve seen that suggestion and it looks interesting. My concern is that anything that adds with makes it lees concealable. Might be okay bit I haven’t tried it
@@cliffy109 I managed to attach the Raven Concealment Vanguard 2, which only covers the trigger guard. I attached it with a lanyard to the inside of the Smart Carry, so that you can pull out the trigger guard and clip it onto the gun, outside of the Smart Carry pouch. Bonus is that you can clip it on without a round in the chamber, then rack the slide once the trigger is covered.
You could try but probably a bit bulky. Maybe not horrible because of where that bulk is located but I prefer thin and trim. Your body type will have an impact on this

Great update. Please continue to make updates of any changes that you find. I will subscribe because you made an update!
I put my thumb over the back of the slide during the draw and move it to the grip once the gun is cleared. No flick

@@bikutageto8369 That's a slick solution. Thanks.
How do you go to the bathroom standing at a urinal with a line standing behind you, if you can’t get into a stall?
Actually very easy. The holster lifts up only slightly and… things go under the flap. Tuck back into the pants when done.
Just get a quick discount belt.
What about the SigP365x with a light?
