THANK U SO VERY MUCH, YOU ALWAYS ARE VERY SLOW AND STEP BY STEP TEACHING !! AND IM GONNA USE THE 12×12 PAPERS WITH WHOLE AS PICS ,GONNA FRAME THEM TO USE AS WALL DECOR
I use my SnC 125e A LOT! Many times, if I don't have a die for my stamps, I'll just stamp my images and run them through the SnC. Right now I'm working on Halloween and Christmas.
I just got my scan and cut yesterday. Within 15 minutes it was doing g the fussy cutting g for me. I had a few casualties it's true however the amount of butterfly and flowers it cut will be a big help for me in finishing my journals.
Thank you for showing us how to make the ScanNCut work with the Mintay papers. I just received several of the packs and can't wait to start creating- and the ScanNCut will be a great help in my fussy cutting! I also wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you teaching how to clean and re-stick those mats I would have been bald by now from frustration had I not watched that video from you!
I am glad that you demonstrated the scan n cut. I haven't used mine in a while, I keep forgetting to order the mat. I'm certainly going to use the scan for some of my intricate designs. Well, lots of designs cause my hands get tired of fussy cutting. God Bless.
Thank you for doing this video... I've had my scan n cut for 2 years and have used it a few times only because I find frustrating to use. You made it look so simple...
I had a SNC 350 until I bought the SNC DX .. wow, so quiet! I absolutely LOVE it! I don’t think it was in my house more than five mins before I opened it up and used it to cut stuff. Yes it’s an expensive pair of scissors, but SOOOO worth it! I gifted the 350 to my bestie in another state. Open those boxes ladies... don’t be afraid... it’s just paper.
Wow! I never thought about using my Scan n Cut. Probably because I have never had good luck using it. I bought that sheet last year from a local stamp and paper store and fussy cut the complete page, it was very relaxing and therapeutic. I bought the whole paper pack from Maymay recently and look forward to crafting with it.😉
Thank you! This is so helpful. I have never tried “the pencil trick” but I have heard it before. That should help. The one thing about fussy cutting is you rarely totally mess up a piece, but I have had whole images cut through with the BSC. Nervous about my beautiful Mintay. I think your idea of cutting the sheet into smaller pieces might be the solution. Thanks, Maymay!
Thanks Maymay. I got the SDX last year as a gift. Just recently took it out of the box and started watching videos. I like to fussy cut too, but when I’m making cards for my friends in chairs at the Dialysis Center and Cancer Center, this will help a lot. Now to just get the Mintay papers😂😂😂 Hugs and blessings.
I was in between decision between the scan n cut and the cricut maker.... in the end, I got the scan n cut. It's one of my MOST LOVED Craft Electronics... I Am getting MORE into sewing- so, maybe the maker will become an addition... but. I have no internet aside from my cell phone.... so. The scan n cut, and Crucut Expression, are my go to electronic cutters... I'm downsizing now, but, I'll not be Without a Manual machine.. no reason to have to buy a generator to craft! Lol. I'm being spoiled with dies and cutting machines. I am from long enough ago, stamps weren't "great" when I First started. In fact... there was a time when a Stamp, meant a Metal Piece, and a hammer... lol
I'm Very Seriously considering it- but- have More paper than room, ... literally- I could Probably open a small shop right now- lack of time to craft, but, who passes a great deal on Awesome paper, adhesive sheets, etc? Nobody in MY bubble. I Just found a full 12x12 pad, form 1993.. cover's gone, but, it's awesome... and it's Almost untouched. I'm finishing my craft room(s).. so I can work All day and or night through the fall and winter this year... I'm very excited... lol
Sara Medina I recommend waiting. See how you craft. If you do a lot of fussy cutting or buying dies to coordinate with your stamps, then consider it. I bought mine and didn’t use it. Now when I am actually ready to use it there have been so many upgrades to the latest version, I wish I had waited. Be sure you are committed to using it and learning about it before you spend the money. Otherwise, it might be a very expensive doorstop...
Margie, the Maker doesn’t have a scan function, does it? There has to be a way to get the images into the maker, but I think this is way above my current level of expertise.
Just want to say that this is probably the tip I use the most with my Scan N Cut! I love, love, love it. Thank you!
Thanks for showing! Never seen this machine in use before!
I've just bought a ScanNCut and this was a little gem of a video you did, so glad I found it. Thank you.

Thank you. I have not used my scan and cut in ages. Have great difficulty making it work. Your video had greatly encouraged me.
I'm glad u used your older machine. Thank you.
That is so awesome! Thanks Maymay for sharing with us!

Thank you for sharing this machine. I have thought about buying one but haven’t researched it enough. It looks great:)
Such a WONDERFUL tutorial.

Thank you so much for showing us how to do this. I love this paper and ordered it from ETSY. It's breath taking.... Thanks again!
I never knew to change the 5 to 20! Thank you! 🤓

Thank you. I don’t have a scan and cut but I am going to try it with my silhouette.
Thank you Maymay!! This is so helpful.
I love your tips, I never thought to trace them.
Oh. And. I must agree, this is a GORGEOUS paper pack!!!

Oooooh that machine is awesome
Great video thank you. Can I ask why you do a offset is it just because you like the white around the image or another reason?

Thanks that is good information because it's just lately that I've noticed any interest.
Ah ha! Now I might be able to scan and cut the butterflies now. Thank you, thank you. 🤗💕🌸🦋
thank you for the tracing tip.❤🦋
Thank you for doing this ❤️
Thanks, Maymay, I’m going to try this with Christmas paper I got from Tracey P. I hope it works as well!
Looks like a great machine especially if you stamped a lot and did not have the dies you match.
I have a scan n cut and I have yet to use it - it intimidates me!!! I will have to try use it now!!

Billie Lemere Did you get the new one? It has a material cutting mat!
I just got some Mintay papers. Love em

Thanks for the good info.
thanks for this tutorial it is very helpful hugs
It may a bit of work to start, but the results are totally worth it!
How do you keep your mat sticky ?
ua-cam.com/video/xW37DVrmX_4/v-deo.html
I use a FRIXION erasable pen it the Lins go away with heat gun.
I’m wondering if the scan&cut is worth the money? I’m a new crafter.

Barb Thompson thank you for the helpful information.
Is there a way to stop the white border around the pictures?
Hi, Maymay talks about offset at 3:26 in the video, this is where you would put no offset around the images, thanks
I just have a question, Can you do the same with the Cricut maker?
Margie, the Maker doesn’t have a scan function, does it? There has to be a way to get the images into the maker, but I think this is way above my current level of expertise.
You are not able to do this a a Cricut Maker, it does not have a scan feature, thanks Admin Staff
Tamatha Luehrs but could you use the snap mat feature? Looking for a way to cut these without fussy cutting.
Susan Hilley I believe this feature is only used to help take the guesswork out of image placement on the mat... it is not a true scanning feature
I’m curious how long it took to cut those?
Maybe two minutes, no long at all. It is a pretty quick machine.
What model is this scan n cut?
Charlie p the ScanNcut CM350e
