Great video! This is exactly what I needed to learn. I purchased my DC200 in 2018 but never took it out of the box until a few months ago (2022). I have been creating some basic things but wanted so much more. I was about to drop some cash on another machine with another brand. Hello again John. I'm have SUCH trouble with vinyl cutting. Seems now that it cuts the way its supposed to, HOWEVER, NOW [after turning to auto pressure], when weeding, nothing stays on the backing sheet.... Everything comes off in one piece.... it's cut but I have to pull each letter off at a time. It seriously defeats its purpose, you know what I mean? So frustrating. I don't know what to do. Is it my actual vinyl sheet? UGH.... I have so much to do and I can't get anything to work correctly. UGH UGH ANY help is appreciated. And again thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to help me with my problems. I wish I could send you a picture so you could see what it looks like. Can I do that?
I didn't think to call it dynamic/creative text while searching [stacking fonts] but I'm glad the algorithm figured out to suggest your video. Ty! I'll keep your Udemy course in mind! :)
John....is there any way I can change the WORDS in Canvas. There are so many preloaded words which have very cool looks to them, I was wondering if I could take one of those words and change it to another word, but keep their style?
@@GentlemanCrafterUK What am I doing wrong? Every time, I mean every single time I cut on vinyl the vinyl rips one or more of the letters. I've cleaned, sharpened my auto blade, but nothing works. Is it the pressure? or speed? I'm at a loss. Thanks for your help. BTW I'm using an SDX125.
@@stormyott7279 From a video I’ve just watched, it sounds like your pressure is too high…she said you don’t need any pressure for vinyl as the blade can easily do the work without. If you need the channel/video name, let me know and I’ll go find it. 😁👍🏻💕
I don't have a computer I use chrome on phone and I hate it. To try to move stuff and make big ir small it's so hard. Looks way easier on a computer. Still struggling with my design though. I used a screen print pattern and we won't have shirts in time for our games everyone came to me to make 3 and I can't get it. Because it has openings and and nit say in a shape and the words some in and some out I can't get it

Not the predesigned ones, no. You can of course use any font to type out text in Canvas Workspace for PC
