As an operations manager, throughout the interview I didn’t hear about any process of policies that are to showcase systems that will work without emotions and works on logic👀
I just want to commend David for being direct, asking the hard questions, and bringing to light the problematic business partnership between the two of them. Kudos to you David for hosting such a great show! ❤❤❤
This was the best Hot Seat I have watched. They actually have a business and the information given to them seemed useful. This episode didn't feel like it was just for entertainment purposes
Too be honest, she is more of a CVO, Chief Visionary Officer and her friend that is the CMO is more like the CEO. CEO is drill more of the execution. Where the CVO is more of the creative and handles the future of the company. This narrative really fits them.
I am sorry but what CEO activities did the friend do that make her qualified? Just because she is more extravert doesn't mean anything. She didnt even know as a CMO the product instead of person could be the focus point too!
I feel like I use to be her. Helping people build without really wanting nothing. Now I’m investing into myself. I think she’s afraid of her own potential. The work for herself.
I don't know, they're short one big argument/ Money disagreement/ Pregnancy / Divorce From this company Blowing up.😢😢 They need to get the get their own attorneys now and work out the stock shareholders within the company. I hope they make it.
This was good.... The ladies appear very uncomfortable and something seems off to me but im so glad that Dave has the ability to ask the hard questions and make them go deeper and solidify some things.
Ok…I’m not comfortable with what I see here. 1.She shouldn’t be CEO. She wants the bragging rights but can’t do the work because of her obligations. They both know this. Who’s paying for the nanny? Ms. “Secrets” appears to possess more of those qualities that exemplify a CEO…BUT…Shed have to work more closely with the husband which shouldn’t be an issue if she’s LGBT. 3. One of the very first things that should’ve been resolved is the contract/equity issue. Not looking good…there are a lot of basic details that they’re not sharing, which is their prerogative. Hard to make an assessment when key variables are missing. An investor would say “no thanks”. All things considered, I hope and wish the best for them.
Whew chile, I’m not comfortable with the fact that you’re not owning a 6 figure business right now with your INPUT. Wish you the best tho. Next time try to be more uplifting on black businesses rather than putting people down.

@@laksjennings3095 that’s what you got outta my comment? Check that company out in a year. Either she makes changes or she needs to be removed as CEO.
If the friend would get 25% of the company, this would be the breakdown: Friend 25% Husband 37.5% Wife 37.5% If she got 25% of the husbands, it would look like so: Friend 25% Husband 25% Wife 50% Totally different and no one offered clarity on what she asked for vs what the ladies husband offered from his equity, not the 100% equity.

15:58 she wasn't lying, he aint either. Shes talking long term energy & he sounded like he was saying "nah ppl don't always give back the same energy, thats not safe." & I agree, but karma goes beyond that, that's a monent, & theres other moments that make you realize that God is with you, & something good that you did might have brought that energy back to you when you needed it the most, just do good things in life & see..
I would love to work with the CMO… also she should be able to make an income especially if they’re making profit.. she’s not an intern but let me keep watching.. pretty good so far 12:46
She’s mission driven. (Mother on left). Those who are mission driven want recognition and then compensation once the brand monetizes. Mitigate all risks with contracts proactively.
Why she ain’t paying that lady.
can’t pay bills off of friendship 😅
If she is the lifeblood, she should have equity.

Thank You
25% of his 50 is smaller than 25% of the whole company. I hope she gets the 25% she is looking for.
This is literally one of the best shows out there. I be tuned in every week.
Thanks for coming through.

Being “passionate” isn’t enough. She’s literally now able to be available. This is risky.

You guys should stay DTC as long as possible. Avoid retail until you are ready. You need to truly build the brand. Build your customer base
I love this. Great energy between the two of them.. reminds me of me and my sisters & brother
Awesome. Thanks for watching!

Shoutout to Ray Daniels 🔥 Crazy how worlds collide
Dave is a master at what he does. I love how he read their personalities and made a switch in positions. Wish you ladies much success!
