I wish ships like this still exists, modern ships just doesn't kinda ruins a beautiful journey for me. I love listening to this while fantasizing being on a ship!
That makes Two of us, my brother and dad love the new carbon fiber hulled racing sailboats. And they get ticked when I tell them that old square riggers are real sailing ships.
I mean they do still exist, and more and more people are starting to sail them again (To be more environmentally friendly I think?) Of course you don't get as many people sailing Galleons or anything thing XD but there's plenty of Sloops and Schooners about at sea I'm sure!
Look into working on tallships. They still VERY much exist and while they do have modern technology, the crew who handles them only uses it when its needed. Source: Was a tallship sailor for years.
Listening to this as I read Patrick O’Brian’s Master and Commander. It really makes the experience much more immersive and helps unleash my imagination, thank you! I recommend for anyone reading a nautical themed book.
I know right!!!! This ambience also GREATLY helps you imagine you're on a giant galleon pirate ship, sailing a giant ocean to reach a giant country that been undiscovered for 144,000 years!!!!!👒🗡️🐉🏴☠️🛳️👍
With sloping masts and dipping prow, As who pursued with yell and blow Still treads the shadow of his foe, And forward bends his head, The ship drove fast, loud roared the blast, And southward aye we fled. STC great sound effects!
Great idea, Leopold!! Yes. I have a somewhat similar video I posted over 9 months ago to my channel that's just now starting to take off. I don't get the TY algorithm sometimes.. but people love these sounds! Cheers. -Scott
The winds were blowing strong, the waters were strong yet gentle, the day... was mundane. No drunk, no bickering, no singing, no danger. Just... normal Shipwork. There in the wheel deck stood the quartermaster, and in the benches hehind him... was Captain Adlian, snoring her nostrils into her lungs.
omg- so one of my favorite bands is holding a pirate themed ARG and i've been using these ambiances to fit the mood, we're currently at the shipyard getting ready to set sail by 5PM EST- i'm so excited to start sailing with the crew, sure, said crew might be chaotic as heck, but they're family and i couldn't ask for a better crew such as them, the shipwright Lancashire is helping us build our ship today :D
This ambience is an absolute masterpiece!!!!! It makes you imagine you're on a giant galleon pirate ship, sailing an extremely beautiful, calm and crystal clear blue ocean to reach an very big, ultra rich and ultra peaceful kingdom while searching for buried treasure on the bottom of the ocean floor!!!!👒🗡️🐉🏴☠️🛳️🥰👍
This is so great I just wish it was longer than 1 hour, I have to keep pausing my D&D game to go back to the video and restart it. The UA-cam looping site doesn't work on my TV.

Hey Michael, do you mind if I use some of your music for my Dungeons and Dragons Campaign? I really love your music and ability to make such realistic ambiance for any story, and wondered if that will be okay with you?
Hey Doug! That's the whole purpose of it actually :D You can definitely use any of my creations / compositions for personal use without asking. You only have to ask if you use them for a project (especially if it has a commercial purpose). However, I would really like if you could share my channel with your players ;)
Michael Ghelfi, I am going to be more than happy to tell my players about your musical awesomeness and hopefully get you even more recognized by the UA-cam community. And I will do my best! :)
i used this in my Homebrew DND game where the players goal was to get strong enough to fight a Kraken. although...... we rolled a 1 on random encounters out at sea and got an eary kraken a tad toooo much more that i wouldve liked.
@@MichaelGhelfiStudios welllll..... it split the boat, crushed the elf paladin, ate the halfling ranger, the human fighter, the human wizard and orc cleric undloaded gunpowder barrels into their mouth, doing some really good damage. then the wizard gets yeeted off of the boat, the fighter unloads his flintlock pistol, gets attacked and dies in 2 hits, and the cleric jumps into the water and eventually drowns. 1 survivor, and no other players. we restarted in a new world and a new place. .-. that didnt go well

Thank you Fred :) RPG sessions = Sessions during which you play some Role Playing Games (RPG). Basically some tabletop games with friends, all around a table, playing different characters and acting like you were these characters. Example : Dungeons & Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, etc. Was it clear ? :)
Cat O'nine Tails (Or Cat) A whip with nine lashes used for flogging. "A taste of the cat" might refer to a full flogging, or just a single blow to "smarten up" a recalcitrant hand. Chain Shot Two cannonballs chained together and aimed high in order to destroy masts and rigging.
So are these allowed for twitch dnd streams? i am confused and do not want to be rude I would love to know if you are accredited if you mind if streamers use your work.
