  • Shoalhaven is a city in Rowlock, Arandal. The naturally formed harbor provides a secure mooring for fishing boats and larger merchant vessels. The emergence of a shipbuilding industry led to the towns increase in size, with the construction of terraced houses up the slopes of the sheltered bay.

You don't know how grateful we are for this. Where I live there used to be a Ports 'o Call which looked a little like a New England fishing/boating village with the same wooden roofs, the smell of smoked fish, artisans creating and displaying their hand-made wares, and the simple sounds of ocean sea birds mixed with the wonderful "white noise" of people talking - no loud music, and no loud announcements. Now, this little village is being torn down for eateries upon eateries, shops with t-shirts and other mass-made items you can find anywhere, and loud, blaring music, bands, etc. I very much doubt I will be able to hear the sea birds, the slap of the ocean against the wooden pilings, and the myriad conversations of people enjoying their outings, and each other. Thank you So Much for this. I come back again and again because I have no other such place to enjoy, except in dreams.

That's such a shame. I love nature and the simple joys of life and I hate to think that such wonders could be stripped away for the expansion of capitalism and a fast paced society. I'm sorry to hear that is happening to what sounds like a lovely place. By the way, I love the way you write! The word choices and imagery depicted are very beautiful! If you have ever wished to be a writer/poet I suggest you pursue it!

I grew up by the sea and I have many wonderful memories of visiting harbours and watching the fisherman and their boats. Eating fish and chips wrapped in paper, using wooden forks. Sitting with my Grandmother watching the world go by, feeding the seagulls. Sadly I had to move to the city for work and I find city life hard. This sound track offers me some kind of stress release, until I have enough funds to buy somewhere to live near the sea. Thankyou for this. It brings back many happy memories and an easier, gentler way of life. 🍦

I'm assuming that you're English by the Fish and Chips mentioned. I used to visit my Gran in Bournemouth quite often, and we'd go to the beach. Some of my happiest memories are in Bournemouth. I used to love picking up shells at the beach, and I'd bring them to my little brother. We'd dig and make sandcastles with my cousins, and afterwards we'd go and get an ice cream. Loads of happy memories.

I love your work. I bet it's ridiculously hard (at least way harder than what people may think), with background and everything. Just keep the videos coming because I'm obsessed with your channel for inspiration ♥

Man, you are amazing! I love your channel. I study most of the time 10, 12, 14 hours a day and it easily gets dozy at times with the sound of fire and rain. I like these kind of sounds! They keep me active and focused and awake! Wonderful how I can use it to stay awake and some are using to fall asleep! Keep making more vids! I love your content!
